  • Today, many studies are conducted on searching for criminals in railroad stations using intelligent surveillance system. In the 1st stage, this study conducted a simulation of the system which searches for a criminal using a DB containing information on former convicts (DB on high risk former convicts), when a crime has taken place in a railroad station. Then, in the 2nd stage, this study has developed a simulation that can search for people who is wearing the same color clothes as the criminal and are found near the station, once the color of clothes of the criminal has been entered.

  • Open Network Management Systems (NMS) are not sufficient to use in a large and complex computer network environment because many-year experiences and skills are requeired for using NMS. And also, customizing NMS means a difficult programming with API(Application programming Interface) supplied by NMs. The more intelligent NMS you want, the more difficult programming you must do. In this paper, we proposed an intelligent network management system suign a structure of multiple and distributed expert systems, so as to represent expertises and knowledges of network managers into rule format, maintain the knowledgesstructurally and perform the network managmenet intelligently. expert system for amanaging computer network should understand the management protocol, analyze messages from agents, take a proper action, and report the situations by pre-defined network operation principle and strategy. A multiple expert sytem is composed of monitor expert module, fault expert module and manager expert module which are controlled by enconded knowledges.

  • 본 논문에서는 배전지능화시스템과 정보 연계, 미래 지능형전력망 운용 및 태양광, 풍력, 연료전지등과 같은 신 에너지전원의 단지를 효율적으로 유지관리하기 위하여, 유 무선 네트워크 구성요소의 특성을 해석하고, 이를 바탕으로 원격 감시제어장치를 제작하였다. 이 감시제어장치는 한국기술교육대학교 캠퍼스 내에 설치되어 있는 50KW급 태양광전원장치를 대상으로 유 무선 네트워크 알고리즘을 기반으로 제작한(AutoBase) 감시장치, PLC를 이용한 제어장치로 구성된다. 본 연구에서 제안한 장치를 이용하여 태양광전원의 출력특성을 분석한 결과, 원격지에 설치된 대규모 태양광단지의 보수유지 관리에 필요한 유무선 네트워크를 이용한 원격감시제어기술의 대안으로, 스마트그리드 구축에 기여할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • Recently, as the amount of digital data increases exponentially, the importance of data processing systems is being emphasized. In this situation, the selection and construction of data processing systems are becoming more important. In this study, the performance of cloud computing (CC), edge computing (EC), and UAV-based intelligent edge computing (UEC) was compared as a way to solve this problem. The characteristics, strengths, and weaknesses of each method were analyzed. In particular, this study focused on real-time large-capacity data processing situations such as corridor monitoring. When conducting the experiment, a specific scenario was assumed and a penalty was given to the infrastructure. In this way, it was possible to evaluate performance in real situations more accurately. In addition, the effectiveness and limitations of each computing method were more clearly understood, and through this, the help was provided to enable more effective system selection.

  • Although many people watch the scene with multiple surveillance cameras, it is difficult to ensure that immediate action can be taken in the event of a crime. Therefore, there is a need for a "crime behavior detection system" that can analyze images in real time from multiple surveillance cameras installed in elevators, call immediate crime alerts, and track crime scenes and times effectively. In this paper, a study was conducted to detect violent scenes occurring in elevators using Scene Change Detection. For effective detection, an x2-color histogram combining color histogram and histogram was applied.

  • In this paper, web based monitoring systems are implemented for multi-axis force control systems of an intelligent robot. Linux operating systems are ported to an embedded system which Include a Xscale processor to implement a web based monitoring system. A device driver is developed to receive data from multi-axis force sensors of intelligent robots. To control this device driver, a socket program for Labview is also developed.

  • In this paper, the transfer function to the vehicle is derived from using system identification algorithm in connection with the driving vehicle. We design the adaptive cruise controller using the derived transfer function, and make it possible to monitoring and control the vehicle in real time using embedded system and technology of Internet.

  • 본 연구개발은 입력된 항로를 스스로 비행하며 사진 촬영, 국토 및 환경을 감시ㆍ관리할 수 있는 지능형 무인 비행 시스템 개발을 위한 레저 산업용 무선 조종 모형 비행기에 관련된 핵심기술을 확보하고, 상업화를 위한 전 단계의 시작품을 제작하는 것이다. 이와 관련하여 무선 조종 비행 관련 데이터를 확보 및 습득하고, 이의 활용으로 표준조종 기술을 확립하도록 했다. 또한, 자동 비행모드로 전환하기 위한 자동 비행 제어 알고리즘을 개발했으며, 확보된 비행기술을 데이터화하여 다양한 환경에서 시뮬레이션(simulation)을 수행한 정보를 프로그램화하여 자동 비행을 하도록 하고, 마이크로프로세서(microprocessor)를 이용하여 서보모터를 구동할 수 있는 제어기를 개발하였다.

  • In this paper, the mechanism that can walk efficiently in wet land or sand area is proposed. A vision camera is attached to the mechanism, which makes a kind of biologically inspired robot for coast guard. This visionary information enables the biologically inspired robot to react in peripheral environment by a soft-computing algorithm. In addition, the biologically inspired robot can achieve the mission appointed by a programmer connecting with outside, based on RF and Blue-tooth communication module. Therefore, the purpose of this research is the implementation of the biologically inspired robot that can operate most adaptively in sand and wet surface based on Theo Jansen mechanism.
