  • This paper develops a sensor gateway for using Internet for traffic flow control and remote monitoring, it suggest the required protocol with authentication and encryption. The traffic Surveillance and Control System is an important service to the ITS(Intelligent Transportation System). The traffic surveillance and control system's TCP / IP and the Internet network using is may cause damage means accessing from unauthorized users, Subsequent authentication and encryption of data is essential.

  • 오늘날 도난방지, 화재, 범죄예방 등의 안전한 생활을 위한 감시 시스템의 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 이에 영상보안 시장 규모가 급속히 증가하고 있으며 관련 기술도 인공지능을 겸비한 형태로 발전하고 있다. 우리나라도 영상보안 시스템의 수요가 2002년부터 기업과 정부를 중심으로 증가하고 있으며 급속한 성장을 거듭하는 추세는 2012년 이후에도 지속될 전망이다. 특히, 최근에는 적은 대수의 카메라로 보다 넓은 지역을 관찰하고 특정 부분을 확대 관찰할 수 있는 PTZ 카메라의 활용이 증가하고 있다. PTZ 카메라는 카메라에 구동 장치를 추가하여 좌우(Pan), 상하(Tilt)로 카메라의 시점을 이동시킬 수 있으며 특정 부분을 확대하여 관찰할 수 있는 줌(Zoom) 기능을 가진 카메라를 말한다. 이와 같은 장점으로 지능형 PTZ 카메라는 점차 대중화 되고 있다. 하지만, 현재 시중에 판매되는 많은 종류의 PTZ 카메라를 이용한 영상보안 감시는 실제로 사용자들이 동작하고 사용하는데 있어서 많은 문제점을 가지고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 카메라 별로 제공하는 상이하고 왜곡된 좌표 값에서 새롭게 가공한 직관적 절대좌표 값을 추출하여 정확한 목표지점으로의 위치이동과 간편한 카메라 조작을 위한 시스템을 설계하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 기존 지능형 영상감시 시스템에서의 영상정보 분석 시 발생하는 XML 데이터가 불필요하게 많이 생성(XML data 30ea/1s)되어 스토리지의 저장 및 관리 부하를 개선하기 위해 분석되어진 XML 데이터를 Parsing & Filtering하여 저장함으로써 생성되는 데이터를 간소화함으로써, 효율적인 관리가 가능한 스토리지 부하 최적화를 위한 영상분석정보 관리시스템을 설계하였다.

  • In this paper, we propose abandoned object detection algorithm. When abandoned object was occluded other object, the existing methods cannot detect abandoned object because those methods are not able to estimate the location of abandoned object. In order to overcome this problem, the proposed algorithm extracts the corners around abandoned object. The detected corners are linked to center of abandoned object called by supporters. We can then estimate the location of abandoned object by using supporters. Therefore, the proposed algorithm can detect and estimate the location of abandoned object, when abandoned object is occluded by other object. For this reason, the proposed algorithm can be applied to intelligent surveillance system to prevent bomb terror, which disguises as luggage or box.

  • In this paper, the mechanism that can walk efficiently in wet land or sand area is proposed. A vision camera is attached to the mechanism, which makes a kind of biologically inspired robot for coast guard. This visionary information enables the biologically inspired robot to react in peripheral environment by a soft-computing algorithm. In addition, the biologically inspired robot can achieve the mission appointed by a programmer connecting with outside, based on RF and Blue-tooth communication module. Therefore, the purpose of this research is the implementation of the biologically inspired robot that can operate most adaptively in sand and wet surface based on Theo Jansen mechanism.

  • 최근 후쿠시마 원전, 쓰나미, 홍수와 눈사태와 같은 자연 재난들의 발생으로 인해 엄청난 수의 사상자와 막대한 재산피해가 초래되었다. 이런 재난을 미연에 방지하고자 하는 자동화된 조기 경보 시스템의 연구, 지능형 영상감지 기술 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 이러한 지능형 영상감시기술을 적용하여 재난유형별 위험상황을 감지, 판독, 분석, 표출할 수 있는 기능을 구현하고자 통합된 카메라 영상정보를 활용하여 영상변화를 감지하여 자동식별과 판독을 통해 기준 값 이상의 변화감지 시 경보알림 및 해당 영상 표출을 제공하였다. 본 논문은 기존의 수위상승 감지는 수위계나 교량에 표시된 수위표의 숫자를 읽어 자동적으로 위험을 알려주거나 사람이 수위감지를 위해 설치된 카메라를 모니터링 하여 위험을 감지하도록 되어있던 점을 개선하여 기존 수위감지 목적으로 설치된 카메라의 영상을 분석하여 수위상승 위험을 알려주는 알고리듬을 제안하였다.

  • This paper proposes the new concept & design method and implementation of LonWorks network system for remote monitoring & lighting dimming control and telemetry using Web network. The Experimental LonWorks network system for telemetry & remote monitoring and control are designed and fabricated. As a result, it is verified that LonWorks is open, inteoperable, reliable network system from the experimental results, especially, it seamlessly links the data and control networks, allowing the IP(internet) network to be treated as an extension of the LonWorks networks, and vice versa.

  • Video surveillance is consists of cameras, transmission devices, storage and playback devices, and is used for crime prevention and disaster monitoring. Recently, it has been spreading to a wide variety of fields, and has developed into an intelligent video surveillance system that can automatically recognize or track characteristic objects of people and things. The purpose of this study was to investigate the cases of video surveillance service applying the latest technology by dividing it into the home, public, and private sectors. also this study tried to investigate and research what advantage it brings from a business perspective. By looking at the cases introduced in this study, it was confirmed that the viedo security service is developing intelligently, such as excellent compatibility with CCTV, multiple video surveillance, CCTV screen motion detection, and alarm through automatic analysis.

  • It will be possible to predict the success and failure of the prosthodontic treatment and prevent clinical complications if the oral environment including prostheses and their supporting teeth and periodontium can be monitored in real time. The aim of this report is to introduce the concept of a smart prosthesis, which monitors specific factors in the oral cavity, and investigate its feasibility through a literature review of MEMS (Micro-electro-mechanical System) and Biosensing.

  • Today, many studies are conducted on searching for criminals in railroad stations using intelligent surveillance system. In the 1st stage, this study conducted a simulation of the system which searches for a criminal using a DB containing information on former convicts (DB on high risk former convicts), when a crime has taken place in a railroad station. Then, in the 2nd stage, this study has developed a simulation that can search for people who is wearing the same color clothes as the criminal and are found near the station, once the color of clothes of the criminal has been entered.
