A Wireless Temperature Control System based on FPGA (FPGA기반의 무선 온도 제어 시스템)

  • In this paper, we designed and built a wired temperature controller system which is based on ASIC for a wireless temperature controller system based on FPGA. FPGA devices and wireless controller systems are growing quickly especially for industrial systems for sensing temperature and humidity. FPGA can set up a desired system and a CPU, and directly set up or change a peripheral device based on an IP quickly for an affordable price. This wireless system is easy to install in the field where there are lots of changes and the system is complex. It also has advantages for maintenance. In this study, we are using a 32 bit RISC CPU based on MicroBlaze, with a touch interface, peripheral device, and porting the embedded Linux. Also, we added wireless communication using ZigBee. With this system we provide remote monitoring and control through the web by adding a web server. Compared to the original system, we say not only a performance improvement, but also more efficient development and cheaper costs. In this study, we focused especially on building a better development environment and a more effective user interface.

  • A 2.4 GHz CMOS RF front-end using for ZigBee application is described The front-end consists of a low noise amplifier and a down-mixer and uses a 2 MHz IF frequency. A common source with resistive feedback and an inductive degeneration are adopted for a low noise amplifier, and a 20 dB gain control step is digitally controlled. A passive mixer for low current consumption is employed. The RF front-end is implemented in 0.18 ${\mu}m$IP6M CMOS process. The measured performance is 4.44 dB NF and -6.5 dBm IIP3 while consuming 3.28 mA current from a 1.8 V supply.

  • In this paper, we have implemented a ubiquitous healthcare system that can measure and check human's health in anytime and anywhere. The implemented prototype are composed of both front-end and back-end. The front-end have several groups: environment sensor group such as temperature, humidity, photo, voice sensor, health sensor group such as blood pressure, heart beat, electrocardiogram, spo2 sensor, gateway for wired/wireless communication, and RFlD reader to identify personal. The back-end has a serial forwarder to propagate measurment results, monitor program, and medical information server. The implemented sensor node constructs a sensor network using the Zigbee protocol and is ported the TinyOS. The data gathering base node is linux-based terminal that can transfer a sensed medial data through wireless LAN. And, the medical information server stores the processed medical data and can promptly notify the urgent status to the connected medical team. Through our experiments, we've confirmed the possibility of ubiquitous healthcare system based on sensor network using the Zigbee.

Study of Spin Jig Development for Cleaning of the PCB component (PCB기판 세척용 스핀 지그개발에 관한 연구)

  • This study examined PCB component cleaning on a PCB component surface, which has defects of precipitation type washing (existing rinse method), sealant and foreign material formed in the adhesive process that could not be removed easily. The spin jig was developed for PCB component cleaning, in which the PCB component settled down, to solve the conventional problem of the removal of foreign material with the centrifugal force by high speed rotation. The results are as follows. With decreasing fraction defect in PCB component washing, the development and substrate damage decreased by more than 80% according to the abstergent in the rotary type using the centrifugal force in the existing precipitation type. When the base plate showed a large difference with the time to include the process after washing the design using the existing method, easy attachment and separation of the PCB component could be possible. The washing time was enhanced 90% compared to the existing time. The reliability of the security and washing collaboration of the design and stability of the cleaning process could be secured so that there was no phenomenon of secession, the PCB component fixed for a cleansing rotation jig could maintain a fixed force by the centrifugal force. The stability and reliability of the washing process and the defective rate could be improved to less than 1%.

  • In this paper, we designed and implemented mobile object automatic system based on senor networks for telematics. For developing this system, we gather the various sensing data through wireless communication method using zigbee sensor networks and analyze them in monitoring equipment. And we enable the driver to recognize the car state information on the whole by interfacing analyzed data to telematics unit. And, we implemented automatic controller that can control temperature and humidity in car automatically by actuating air conditioner based on the data that was monitored throughout temperature sensor, humidity sensor and brightness sensor based on sensor networks.

  • We show the way how to design and develop the information system using Zigbee technology. First we set the protocol for zigbee tag and reader. And then we give the information system using designed system based on zigbee technology. In this paper, we use MG2455-F48 module as zigbee module.

  • 본 논문에서는 지그비 기반의 유비쿼터스 케어 관리(U-Care Management) 시스템을 설계하였다. 이 시스템은 운동처방을 받아 체계적으로 운동할 때 발생하는 운동 이력 정보를 누적 관리하여 질병을 예방하도록 지원한다. 이 시스템은 자신의 운동 이력 및 건강 정보를 웹페이지를 통하여 확인할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 휴대폰을 이용하여 환자들에게 운동 치료에 관한 내용을 통보하여 준다.

  • This paper describes a design for the circularly polarized microstrip EMC cross dipole array antenna with the wide bandwidth. To realize the characteristics of wide bandwidth and circular polarization, the electromagnetic-coupled cross dipole element is proposed. The optimum design parameters of a circularly polarized EMC cross dipole element are calculated by the FDTD and the Ensemble. To obtain the uniform aperture illumination of electric field in an array, offset technique that the cross dipole elements are alternatively arranged on center of the microstrip feed line is adopted. In 20-element array design, the calculated axial ratio and gain are about 0.1dB and 9.9 dBi at 12 GHz, respectively, The frequency characteristics of a fabricated 20-element array antenna are measured. The calculated results agree well with the measured ones.

  • Nowadays, Dynamic lighting control and management skills are studied and used. If the system which is to manage multiple intelligent spot applied ubiquitous service technology is built with decision making and used in the complex intelligent space like a apartment then will improve energy efficiency and provide comfortability in optimal conditions. To solve this problem distributed autonomous control middleware and energy management system which process data gathering by zigbee mesh network and search proper services to save energy by the existing state of things is necessary. In paper we designed DDLEMS (Distributed Dynamic Lighting Energy Management System) that is to service duplex communication embedded by software based home server platform to provide mobile services in the smart place and support decision making about energy saving to the best use of wireless censor node and controled network, energy display devices.
