  • 최근 무선 통신 기술의 발전으로 무선 매체를 통한 다양한 서비스가 활발해지고 있다. 그 중 블루투스를 기반으로 하는 스마트 폰 어플리케이션 시장이 증가하고 있다. 블루투스는 근거리 무선 네트워킹 기술로서 무선이라는 요소와 빠른 전송속도라는 요소를 갖추고 있다는 장점이 있는 반면, 높은 전력소모와 다채널의 갯수 제한 등과 같은 단점이 존재한다. 이러한 블루투스의 단점을 보완하여 부상되고 있는 것이 지그비(Zigbee) 무선통신기술이다. 지그비는 블루투스나 와이파이 등의 기술보다도 저전력, 저가격, 다채널, 브로드캐스팅, 사용의 용이성을 지원하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 센서와 스마트 폰 사이의 무선통신기술로서 지그비를 이용하여서 근거리 무선 네트워크 시스템을 설계하여서 블루투스에 비해 낮은 전력소모와 다채널의 지원을 이용하여 다수의 다양한 센서를 스마트 폰과 근거리에서 실시간으로 무선 네트워크를 제어할 수 있는 시스템을 설계하였다.

  • Zigbee is a wireless communication technology optimized for Wireless Sensor Network environment. Implementation of location estimation system is based on Zigbee. In this paper, we implement mobile information system using zigbee technology. The proposed system is composed of mobile terminal software and mobile reader softwrae. We also used our hardware in previous system.

  • 지그비 얼라이언스(ZigBee Alliance)가 9월 28일 서울 메리어트 호텔에서 '지그비 얼라이언스 오픈 하우스'를 갖고, 그 동안의 지그비 개발 성과를 발표했다. 이 자리에서는 지그비 관련 플랫폼이나 단말 개발 동향이 소개됐으며, 아울러 5층에서는 관련 업체들의 제품 전시가 이뤄졌다. 별도 마련된 전시장에는 국내 코윈(Korwin)과 레이디오펄스.TSC 시스템즈.TTA 외 프리스케일.엠버.TI.ST마이크로.텍트로닉스.오키.마이크로칩.크로스보우.Atmel 등 20개사가 참여했다.

  • The home network technology which used USN is developing quickly. Use yet line to a lot of part as home network technology. Recently be leap into prominence to technology core of home network as wireless technology a ZigBee. ZigBee Perceive with cognition from tag and sensor as use USN, and processing, save, integration, and provide information. Implement the access control system which used technology BigBee with design at these papers. The wireless-based construction that used ZigBee. The influence that can let you implement early a Ubiquitous society is technology there being. Also, show by a large spinoff in an allied industry field, and improve the quality of life, and invention calls value added of leading edge IT service and product. The implementation of mobile base on access control system using zigbee method is expected to be helpful for the convenience in home network use.

  • At present, with the rise of smart-phone market supported the Wi-Fi, smart-phone based network content has propagated rapidly. But, network content service is difficult in feature phone and multimedia device not supporting the Wi-Fi or supporting only the bluetooth. This paper was used the zigbee technology supporting low power, low cost, availability, multi channel, broadcasting compared to the bluetooth or Wi-Fi. It will provide a variable network game development by utilizing the zigbee technology. Also, it is provide the development of variable mobile network contents using the zigbee.

  • Things in the IoT(Internet of Things) make various services by exchanging information over networks. The IoT includes many types of WSNs(Wireless Sensor Networks) that consists of spatially distributed wireless sensor nodes and operates with the various purposes with useful technologies such as identification, sensing and communication. Typically, Zigbee network composed of low-cost and lowpower devices is mainly used for wide-area monitoring and remote device control systems. The IoT composed of various WSNs cannot interoperate among networks because of heterogeneous communication protocol and different data representation of each network, but can facilitate interconnection and information exchange among networks via the DDS, which is communication middleware standard that aims to enable real-time, high performance and interoperable data exchanges. In this paper, we proposed design of Zigbee Adaptor for two-way interoperation and data exchange between Zigbee network and other networks in the IoT. Zigbee Adaptor communicates with Zigbee network according to the Zigbee protocol and communicates with external networks via DDS. DDS-based Zigbee Adaptor can facilitate interoperation between a Zigbee network and external networks by systematic cooperation among its components.

  • 본 연구에서는 지그비 기반의 컴퓨팅 기술이 혼합된, 난방 보일러 제어시스템을 제안한다. 지그비 RF 기술과 임베디드 하드웨어 기술의 조합을 통하여, 주택 및 아파트 등에서 각 방별로 온도 및 습도를 취합하여 난방을 관리할 수 있다. 또한 제안된 시스템은 체감온도 기반으로 난방을 관리하여 인간에게 쾌적한 환경을 제공하기 위한 최적의 선택이라 할 수 있다.

  • The conventional channel selection method for a ZigBee communication network basically detects the energy values in all channels. In the ISM band, no license is required to use channels in this band, so there may exist various interference factors in this band. It is well known that WLAN is the major interference factor degrading the performance of ZigBee in the ISM band. In this paper, we propose an efficient channel selection algorithm which uses the pattern of WLAN channel uses as the a priori information. By using the proposed algorithm, we may save the time required to select channels for the ZigBee communications.

  • This paper proposes a method to endow the mobility to the Zigbee protocol which is a short distance wireless communication technology among the standards of wireless sensor networks. The Zigbee has a low price, long life battery, simple structure and connectivity. So it is a suitable standard for the short distance wireless communication of $10m{\sim}70m$. As the Zigbee does not support the mobility, additional factors should be studied to deal adeptly with the diverse change in the real field. By solving the problem that the previous connection and binding table of the Zigbee end device should be reset due to the Zigbee end device address variation when the Zigbee end device moves from the present router to another router, this paper presents the method to communicate without data loss or disconnection.

  • When ZigBee network supports beacon transmission mechanism, ZigBee devices have the restriction of the transmission range from the coordinator. On the contrary, when it does not support beacon transmission, it is not easy to save the energy through turning into sleep mode. This paper proposes active slot allocation method that allocates a transmission time and does not use the beacon transmission mechanism. It is based on the ZigBee's distributed address assignment mechanism and supports the scalability. This paper explains the active slot structure and the allocation order and describes the operation of ZigBee devices. We verify the proposed mechanism through the simulation and show the performance evaluation. It can be useful on the industrial automation and the environmental surveillance.
