Do hedonic icons work better? (아이콘의 유희적 요소가 사용성에 미치는 영향 - 모바일 아이콘을 중심으로 -)

  • 최근에는 정보 가전의 사용이 크게 증가하였고, 다양한 제품 출시와 기술의 발전에 힘입어 제품에 따른 사용성에 있어 큰 차이가 없게 됨에 따라 사용성(usability)의 개념(Gould and Leuis, 1985; Benner, 1984)이 단순한 편리성과 기능성에서 사용자의 경험을 중시하는 방향으로 확장되었다(Carroll, J.M., 2004). 이러한 측면에서 유희적인 측면은 점점 강조되고 있는 실정이다. 아이콘은 GUI 환경에서 사용자가 이루고자 하는 바를 실제 공간에서 대상을 직접 조작하는 방식과 비슷하게 조작할 수 있도록 해줌으로써 중요한 구성요소로 인식되고 있다. 하지만 지금까지 아이콘과 관련된 대부분의 연구들은 아이콘의 기능적인 측면만을 다루어 왔으며, 아이콘이 가질 수 있는 재미나 즐거움과 같은 유희적인 측면에 대한 연구는 거의 이루어지지 않았다. 본 연구에서는 재미와 즐거움을 유희적인 요소로 규정하고 아이콘의 사용성과 주관적인 평정에 있어 재미가 어떠한 영향을 주는지 알아보았다. 그 결과 전형적인 인터페이스와 재미있는 인터페이스는 객관적인 사용성(Ergonomics quality)에 있어서 차이가 나지 않았음에도 불구하고, 사용자들은 재미있는 인터페이스에 대해 더 호감이 가고 매력적이고, 좋다고 평가하였다. 본 연구는 아이콘 디자인에 있어 기본적인 기능을 유지하면서도 참신성을 기준으로 재미요소를 추가하였을 때에 본래의 아이콘이 가지는 장점을 살리면서도 사용자의 경험을 풍부하게 해줄 수 있다는 것을 발견했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

A Study on the Effects of Choice Attributes of the Housing on the Loyalty (주거선택속성이 애호도에 미치는 영향력에 관한 연구: 서초구를 중심으로)

  • Residential environment is not only the physical aspects affected by the unique characteristics of the residents, social, economic, cultural, etc. are closely related to many environmental factors. This research is based on choice attribute theory that substantially explains how housing choice attributes affect loyalty via image, perceived value in Secho. This paper investigate empirically relationship between selection properties of residential environment and loyalty, moderating effect of image and perceived value. Results were computed using SPSS 20.0 statistical analysis programs. The results are summarized as follows. First, The elements of choice attribute are divided into six factor, such as regional reputation, green environment, convenience, property value, safety, housing status. In the results of the analyses, housing choice properties gives a positive influence to the loyalty. Second, testing its mediating role, I use the three regression equation models by Baron and Kenny. When the mediator effect of image, perceived value was represented, the effect of image and perceived value was statistically significant. Thus, the mediating role of image and perceived value was supported. It means the higher image and perceived value can enhance loyalty of Secho.

  • Since smart phone users are continually increasing, smart phone based mobile banking users are increasing too. Therefore this study analyzes behavior of smart phone based mobile banking users. This study surveyed 400 people aged 10 to 50. The survey shows social effect influences convenience of smart-phone based mobile banking, perceived danger, and perceived security. Also,'promptness', the element of convenience has influence on trust. As perceived danger was higher, it was more vulnerable to resistance. The intention of smart-phone based mobile banking was influenced by trust and resistance. Specifically rising of intention was more influenced by lifting trust than lowering resistance.

  • This study used a learner acceptance model to investigate the effect of SNS characteristics on user satisfaction and visit intention. A structured self - report questionnaire was administered to 172 college students. Structural equation modeling was applied using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 22.0. The results of this study are as follows: First of all, the usefulness of informativeness did not affect the usability of the extracted SNS characteristics, and the usability did not affect usability. (+) Influence of. The characteristics of SNS can be utilized as a marketing tool to increase customer 's use and influence the customer' s intention to visit and further to create customers. In the future, various age groups will have to be surveyed. By examining the correlation between the degree of food companies' involvement in SNS and consumer visits, one can see how SNS activities of restaurant companies affect marketing activities.

  • The purpose of this study was to perceived interactivity about experience of using dance video contents and intention to use. This study was examine an adaptive model of Technology Acceptance Model and focused on YouTube. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, total 350 questionnaires were surveyed and 311 data were finally analyzed. All data were processed through SPSS for Windows 20.0 version and AMOS 18.0. For the analysis of data, frequency analysis, reliability analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, model evaluation, and structural equation modeling techniques. The results were as follows. first. Perceived Interactivity had not affect on perceived usefulness but two-way communication, user control among the sub-factor in perceived Interactivity had a positive effect on perceived ease of use. second, perceived ease of use had a positive effect on perceived usefulness. Lastly, Perceived usefulness had not affect intention to use, but perceived ease of use had a positive effect on intention use.

  • The recent technology boom has created a new digital age. With the help of information technology consumers can have more power than ever and they use digital contents more than ever. This study relates consumer attitude to the recent digital contents using behavior about digital file-sharing. Through the use of the multimethod approach, we identify four characteristics can affect illegal digital contents using behavior. The methodology used was to take in depth look at the consumer with phenomenology as a qualitative research. We select 6 participants who have experience of digital content using. We also examine the structural configurations of the relationship between digital contents characteristics and illegal downloading intention. We surveyed 200 people who also had experience of digital content. This research gives theoretical and practical implication to the marketers related to online communication.

  • Mobile wallet that can keep coupons and membership cards for mobile is one of rapidly growing services due to its usability and financial benefit. However, in spite of its rapid growth, the increase of users who do not use continuously it is an important consideration to service providers for making a profit. This study aims to test the effects of factors affecting the continuous use intention of mobile wallet based on VAM (Value-based Adoption Model) which can analyse them in both benefit and sacrifice aspects, so as to suggest considerations to increase the use period of mobile wallet for service providers. The research findings supported the hypotheses regarding to the effects of usefulness, value-expression, perceived security and enjoyment in the benefit aspect and technicality in the sacrifice aspect on perceived value. In addition, the causal path from perceived value to continuous use intention was significant. The study results are expected to be used in marketing or service improvement for short-term users by taking account of emotional factors as well as functional factors.

Factors Influencing Reuse Intention of Tablet PC Ordering Services: From the Perspective of Shadow Work (태블릿PC 주문서비스 재사용 의도에 영향을 미치는 요인: 그림자노동 관점)

  • Tablet PCs are gaining increasing popularity in today's context, offering convenience in store operations. However, some customers may have complaints. From the perspective of shadow labor, customers may perceive using tablet PCs as additional tasks, implying that tasks have been transferred from service staff to customers themselves. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the causes of customers' perception of shadow labor when using tablet PCs (perceived difficulty of use and perceived compulsion to use) and how these perceptions can influence their intention to reuse tablet PC ordering services. Additionally, the study examines whether customers' perception of shadow labor is influenced by digital literacy and information overload and investigates the positive impact of benefits arising from using tablet PCs on their perception of shadow labor. This research conducted an online survey through the Chinese survey specialist website "Wenjuanxing," targeting customers who use tablet PCs to place orders in restaurants. After collecting a total of 376 valid data points, demographic characteristics, frequency analysis, reliability analysis, validity analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were conducted using SPSS 24.0. The empirical results from the 376 respondents reveal that digital literacy and information overload affect the perception of shadow labor and also influence the intention to reuse tablet PC ordering services. Furthermore, benefits showed significant moderating effects on these relationships.

  • 인간은 누구나 고령자가 된다. 특히 과거와 달리 고령자로의 생활기간이 더욱 연장되는 것이 현실이다. 건강한 젊은 시절과 달리 신체 및 지각 능력이 퇴화된 고령자들의 생활은 불편함이 클 수 밖에 없다. 더불어 다양한 고령자 프로그램이나 사회적 배려에 대한 관심과 시장 또한 급속도로 증대되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 고령자의 식품 섭취 편익을 위한 합리적 포장구조, 형태디자인을 탐구하는데 있었다. 연구방법은 간단편의 식품 포장구조, 형태를 국내외 사례를 실증적으로 조사, 분석, 효율적 방향을 제안하였다. 연구결과 건강한 노인생활을 위한 필수 요건의 식품 포장분야는 국내외 모두 미약한 실정이었다. 아직 고령자를 위한 식품개발을 별도 진행하는 기업이 적었고 포장물 또한 별도의 기능성을 제공하지는 않았다. 다만 일부 글로벌 기업의 상품들에서는 취급과 개봉, 사용하기 편리한 식품포장구조, 형태가 판매되고 있었다. 구체적으로 고령자들이 쉽게 개봉할 수 있는 뚜껑의 크기 및 요철의 확대, 금속재질의 오프너의 형태와 구조 디자인의 개선 등은 큰 효과가 있었다. 간단한 구조, 형태를 통해 소비자들의 포장욕구를 충족시킬 수 있는 우수한 마케팅요인으로 작용될 수 있음을 예상할 수 있는 디자인들이다. 큰 투자와 시설 보완을 최소화시키고 편익성을 충분히 제공하는 식품 포장구조디자인은 결과적으로 고령자시장을 확대하며 독자적 브랜드 이미지구축에 큰 영향을 주게 될 것으로 전망되기에 적극적 연구가 절실하다. 고령자들이 좋은 식품을 쉽고 편리하게 섭취할 수 있는 식품패키지 구조디자인을 통해 시장 확대와 경쟁력 있는 국제적 브랜드가 되길 기대한다. 이번 논문은 한국브랜드디자인학회 제23호 논문집에서 발췌하였다.

  • This research aims at investigating the factors determining the success of knowledge management system(KMS) in research organizations. Based on the literature survey and the general framework of IS success model, a new comprehensive model which is customized to the context of KMS is proposed. Some organizational support factors and an individual personality variable that moderates the relationship between predictors and the success factors are also integrated to the new model. A proposed model was tested by the technique of structural equation modeling using survey data from the employees in research organization. The results revealed that KMS quality had the strongest impact on the KMS success measured by perceived usefulness and user satisfaction and KMS use. The moderating effect of an individual personality factor, organization-based self esteem is also founded in the research.
