본고는 미국 육계사육 농가들이 미국 농업부(USDA)와 법무부(DOJ)가 PSA(도축업자 관련법) 개정안 관련 여론을 수렴하기 위하여 주관하는 각종 회의에서 제공한 생생한 증언을 입수하여 번역한 것이다. 미국에서도 계열화 사업과 관련하여 불공정 사례, 상대평가에 대한 불만 등이 표출되고 있음을 알 수 있다.

한나라의 과학기술수준은 그 나라 국력의 척도가 된다고 한다. 우리나라는 저개발국권에서 개발도상국에서 상위권으로 국력이 신장되었으며 이제 선진국권을 향해발돋움 하고 있다. 오늘의 이 괄목의 성공의 뒤안길에는 과학기술자의 숨은 노력이 있었기 때문이라고 하겠다. 따라서 오늘에 이르기까지 내우외환의 지난 역사속에 점철된 선구자을의 업적은 더욱찬란한빛이 되고 있다. 그래서 본지는 79년 새해를 맞아 원로과학기술자의 증언을 통하여 여명기의 실상을 알아보고 이를 내일의 발전을 위한 자료로 제공하기 위하여 신년 1월호부터 「원로과학기술자의 증언」을 고령자순으로 싣기로 했다.

광복 52돌을 맞았지만 아직도 일제에 의한 강제징용.징병.정신대 피해자들의 진상파악과 보상은 이뤄지지 않았다 최근 친일 문제를 다룬 자료집과 연구서, 일제에 희생당한 위안부들의 철저한 증언집이 나와 끝나지 않은 일제청산의 문제를 환기시키고 있다.

This paper was intended to examine the function of emotion that affects the accuracy of statements in the context of eyewitness testimony. The main emotion theories and concepts introduced in previous studies examining the relation between testimony accuracy and negative emotions were examined based on the characteristics of the research method. The results were presented in the order of emotion definition, emotion inducing method, and emotion measurement method. Specifically, the definition of emotion was described based on studies on negative emotions, arousal, stress, and mood. The emotion inducing method was mainly described based on images, virtual reality, and staged events designed by researchers, which have been mainly used in laboratories. Emotion measurement methods were described with respect to the self-report, behavioral checklist, and psychophysiology. In addition, the emotional approach for objective and scientific repeated verification, the importance of effective experimental design and appropriate scientific memory test, and the need for individual difference control were discussed. This paper reinterprets the contradictions shown by previous research by systematically structuring the function of emotion that affects the accuracy of testimony. It was meaningful to provide a frame for comparative analysis of related studies. Ultimately, it is expected that such knowledge will be used as basic documents for judging the reliability of eyewitness testimony in a legal context.

This research investigates the role of causal inferences about the endorser's motivation - specifically, dispositional versus situational attributions - and their impact on persuasion of noncelebrity testimonial advertisements. Based on the correspondent inference theory and the relevant literature, it is posited that consumers will generate predictable patterns of attributional responses to testimonial messages, which in turn will influence ad and brand evaluations. An experiment with 335 consumer panelists, after a pilot experiment with the college student sample, has been conducted. Results suggest the greater impact of dispositional attributions than situational attributions on persuasion of noncelebrity testimonial messages and general evocations of situational attributions regardless of the levels of endorser credibility and dispositional attributions. On the basis of the findings from this study, theoretical and practical implications are discussed, as are directions for future research.

고 배기형 선생에 관한 역사자료를 정리하는 작업에 있어 본론의 내용이 부실한 듯해 안타까움을 느끼곤 한다. 고인에 관한 자료가 말소되다시피해 기록이 전무한 상태여서 건축가의 인생이 허무함을 느끼기도 하지만, 무엇보다 구조사를 중심으로 고인의 업적이 보존되어 한국건축역사를 보다 투명하게 평가할 수 있는 풍토가 정착되지 못한 것이 아쉬울 따름이다. 구조사를 이어가는 윤홍갑 소장에게서 배기형 선생에 관한 증언을 기대하던 중 윤소장이 갑작스런 건강악화로 서울대 병원에 입원하게 돼 필자가 기대하던 보다 알찬 자료지원을 포기할 수 밖에 없었다. 윤소장의 빠른 쾌유를 기원하면서 배기형 선생의 전기를 짜맞추어 원고를 이어가는데 전화, 메모 등으로 협력하여 주신 증인(특히 공장설계에 관한 증언은 김창서 소장, 최영규 교수, 주경재 교수 협조 내용임) 여러분에게 지면을 빌어 감사드린다.

지난 8월7일부터 8월 15일까지 약 10일동안 계속된 집중호우와 8월말 제15호 태풍 루사로 발생된 낙동강 하류지역의 홍수는 1959년 사라호 태풍이후 처음있는 대수(大水)라고 지역주민들은 말하고 있다. 그리고 단기간에 내린 비의 양은 사라호 때가 많았지만, 10일 이상의 장기간 강우량은 이번이 더 많았고 낙동강 홍수위는 1959년 사라호때보다 높은 것으로 증언하고 있다. 강우관측 자료나 하천변 시설물 흔적을 살펴보더라도 지역주민들의 증언이 옳다는 짐
