Flexural Behavior of Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic Pipes (유리섬유 강화 플라스틱관의 휨거동에 관한 연구)

  • 본 논문에서는 유리섬유의 적층수, 유리섬유의 배향각도에 대한 유리섬유 강화 플라스틱(Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastics ; GFRP)의 인장거동 변화를 고찰하고, 이들의 상관관계를 규명하기 위하여 일련의 GFRP 시험체에 대하여 인장실험을 수행하였다. 시험체는 폭12.5mm, 길이 60mm크기로 일정하게 제작하였으며, 시험체에 대하여 인장실험을 수행하였다. 시험체 제작시 유리섬유로 적층수는 14, 22, 30층, 유리섬유의 배향각도는 0$^{\circ}$, 30$^{\circ}$, 45$^{\circ}$로 하였다. 인장실험시 각 시험체의 파괴양상, 극한하중 및 하중변화에 대한 인장변형율을 조사하였고, 이들 결과를 토대로 유리섬유의 적층수와 배향각도에 따른 GFRP의 극한하중, 응력-변형율 선도 및 탄성계수 등을 비교 분석하였다. 한편 본 논문에서는 유리섬유의 적층수, 직경 변화에 따른 GFRP관의 파괴거동을 고찰하기 위하여 4점 재하법에 의한 GFRP관의 휨파괴실험을 수행하였다. 실험에 사용된 시험체는 길이 1200mm로 하였으며, 유리섬유의 적층수를 30, 35, 40층, 관의 직경을 50, 100, 150mm로 하였다. 파괴실험시 각 시험체의 하중변화에 대한 휨 변형율, 중앙점 처짐량 및 항복하중을 측정하였고, 이들 결과를 토대로 유리섬유으 적층수와 관의 직경에 따라 GFRP관의 항복하중 및 파괴에너지를 비교 분석 하였으며, 항복시 파괴에너지를 추정할 수 있는 제안식을 유도하였다.

Tour Program in Archives: Case Study for the Presidential Archives (기록관의 견학 프로그램 - 대통령기록관을 사례로 -)

  • Archives should promote services to users using various outreach service methods. Although the archives' tour program is one of the effective means of services, there has been few studies on the archival tour program. This study investigated archival tour programs and tried to suggest a desirable tour program, with the Korean Presidential Archives as a case. For this study, four U.S. Presidential Libraries' tour programs were investigated and analyzed. Also, tour programs offered in similar organizations in Korea, such as Kim Daejung Library, Diplomatic Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and National Library of Korea, were analyzed. Current tour programs offered by the Korean Presidential Archives were also analyzed and some limitations were identified. Based on the characteristics of the Korean Presidential Archives, which will be moved to independent building in Sejong City soon, desirable direction to organize tour programs for various user groups were suggested.

  • Underground flexible pipes for electric cables are subject to external loads and surrounding soil pressure. Particularly, strain of flexible pipes is of great concern in terms of safety and maintenance for electric cables. In this paper, stress and strain of flexible pipes with various installation depth are compared using traditional formula, FEM analysis, model soil box test and field test. from the findings of various analyses, considering the strain criteria-maximum 3.5%, it is suggested that flexible pipes can be buried at the depth of 80cm without additional soil improvement.

  • The purpose of this paper is to research and suggest ideal environment for the preservation of the National library collections. Current conditions of National library was also investigated, and many results showed that not only technical resolutions but also reorganization of staffs and structure is needed. Moreover, for the realization of ideal preservation environment, mid-long term development plans for the National Library was also provided.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest an improved model of the library administrative organization, based on analysis and investigation of present situations of libraries in 31 local governments of Gyeonggi province. With the result of this investigation, there are few local governments in Gyeonggi province with library-related organizations. Most of them had more organized position of extraordinary session than of affiliation with each local government. Also, library policy departments were incomplete, and local governments did not configure the library operating System(central library - base library - branch library) efficiently.

  • 본 연구에서는 인터넷 무역의 특징, 기존 무역절차와의 차이, 인터넷 무역의 주요 수단, 성공요건 등을 살펴보고 인터넷 무역과 관련된 정부부처, 무역유관기관, 학계, 언론, 정보통신업체 등의 역할과 추이, 국내 수출기업의 인터넷 무역 활용 등을 검토하였다. 이러한 검토를 통해 법적, 제도적 뒷받침, 인프라 구축, 거래알선 서비스 및 무역정보 제공뿐만 아니라 인터넷 무역 전문인력의 육성을 포함하여 기업의 현실을 감안한 현장 밀착형 지원체제의 구축이 필요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이와 관련하여 대학 등 교육기관의 역할이 매우 중요함을 강조하고, 향후 대학 등이 중심이 되어 중앙정부와 지방자치단체, 무역유관기관, 종합상사, 언론기관 등과 긴밀한 산 학 관 협력체제를 구축함으로써 지역 중소기업의 발전과 대학생들의 취업이나 창업에 기여할 수 있음을 살펴보았다.

Structure of the Male Reproductive System in the Freshwater Prawn Macrobrachium nipponense (징거미새우, Macrobrachium nipponense 수컷 생식기의 구조)

  • The male reproductive system of Macrobrachium nipponense consists of a pair of lobulate testes enveloped within a mesenteric sheath extending the length of the carapace. The paired vasa deferentia originated from the mid-lateral region of each testis and extended to the genital pores at the base of the fifth walking legs. The vas deferens has four morphologically distinct regions, i.e., a short and slender proximal region, a long convoluted region, an elongate distal region and an ejaculatory duct that terminates at the genital pore. The sperm mass produced in the testes is surrounded by a basophilic matrix adjacent to the high columnar epithelium and an eosinophilic matrix adjacent to the simple columnar epithelium. The sperm cord is stored in the ejaculatory duct until it is ejaculated. Androgenic gland is found near the subterminal region of the ejaculatory duct between the muscles of the coxopodite of the last thoracic leg. The cell of the androgenic gland is about 6~8 $\mu$m in length, characterized by with extended chromatin in the large nucleus that stained weakly with hematoxylin and there is a large quantity of cytoplasm. The sperm of M. nipponense are typical of the palaemonid type, having a convex, cup shaped head and an elongated spike extending from the centre of the convex head. The spermatophore consisted of an eosinophilic matrix, a basophilic matrix and paired sperm masses which was surrounded by the basophilic matrix. It generally shows a bilaterally symmetrical structure.

Numerical Study on the Effect of a Groove of D-type on Internal Flow and Pressure Drop in a Corrugated Pipe (주름관 내부 유동과 압력강하에 대한 D형 그루브의 영향에 관한 수치해석)

  • A corrugated pipe is widely used in firefighting equipment and sprinkler pipes because of its elasticity, which is less damaged by deformation and convenient facilities. However, the corrugated shape of the wall results in complex internal turbulent flow, and it is difficult to predict the pressure drop, which is an important design factor for pipe flow. The pressure drop in the corrugated tube is a function of the shape factors of the pipe wall, such as groove height, length, and pitch. Existing studies have only shown a study of pressure drop due to length changes in the case of D-shaped tubes with less than 5 pitch (P) and height (K) of the rectangular grooves in the tube. In this work, we conduct a numerical study of pressure drop for P/Ks with length and height changes of 2.8, 3.5 and 4.67 with Re Numbers of 55,000, 70,000 and 85,000. The pressure drop in the corrugated tube was interpreted to decrease with smaller P/K. We show that the pressure drop is affected by the change in the groove aspect ratio, and the increase in the height of the groove increases the recirculation area, and the larger the Reynolds number, the greater the pressure drop.
