Small and medium-sized firms are increasingly dependent on the knowledge and expertise of the supply chain as a whole to innovate and improve supply chain performance. This research examines the capabilities that enable firms to collaborate successfully, and aims to identify the determinants of SCM performance of the suppliers participating in supply chains managed by Global Korean companies. This study proposes the technology support, the collaboration with tier two companies, incentives and information sharing as major research variables, and collected the survey responses from 58 domestics suppliers. The statistical results indicate that the incentives, technology support and the collaboration with tier two firms influence the level of co-work with the firm leading supply chain, and that information sharing has some impact on SCM performance of the suppliers. But on the contrary to our expectation, the co-work with the firm leading supply chain has only moderate impact on SCM performance with p value just over 5%. We conclude this paper with some suggestions for future research.

External linkages affect the performance of small and medium enterprises in diverse ways. This study delves into the impact of inter-organizational collaboration by looking at different facets of performance, such as innovation, sales growth, profit growth, and firm survival. In addition, it explores the influence of informal knowledge spillover from collaborative partners as well as from formal collaborations. The impact is carefully investigated by dividing firm samples into three different sectoral innovation categories: supplier-dominant, production-intensive, and science-based sector suggested by Pavitt (1984). The result highlights the different influence pattern of collaborative relations by partner types according to sectoral categories. The positive results of collaborating with universities and public institutions are identified, and the sales growth by customer linkage is witnessed. The impact is apparent in science-based sectors. The result implies that the risk associated with collaborating with competitors may be moderated by linking performance enhancing collaborative linkages with universities and government institutes.

국내의 경우 1994년부터 CALS가 도입되어 학계, 연구소, 대기업을 중심으로 한 일부 기업 등에서는 도입이 적극 검토되고 있으나, 일반인은 물론 기업, 특히 중소기업에서의 CALS에 대한 마인드와 구현기술, 제반사항 등이 대단히 미흡한 실정이다. 국내 산업의 경쟁력이 전반적으로 미약한 점을 감안할 때 21세기 정보화 사회에서의 국가경쟁력을 높이기 위해서는 CALS 관련기술을 개발, 지원함으로서 기업 정보화 및 경영혁신을 실현하고 기업간의 정보교류와 협력체제로 새로운 시장구조를 유도하여 국내기업의 경쟁력을 향상시킬 필요가 있다. 본 시범사업에서는 한국통신에 전자교환기 부품을 납품하는 중소부품제조기업을 대상으로, CALS 개념에 의한 모기업 및 협력업체간의 정보 공유 및 교환 모델을 구축하여, 가시화함으로서, 중소기업에서의 정보 공유 환경 구현 가능성에 대하여 검토하였다.

원자력산업살리기협의회 회원기업 대표들은 7월 20일 국회 정론관에서 기자회견을 갖고 "탈원전 정책과 원자력 기업이 상생할 수 있는 길을 마련해 줄 것"을 호소했다. 협의회는 성명서를 통해 "원자력산업은 기술집약적 중소기업형 산업으로 기자재분야는 소재와 부품공급사의 90%가 중소기업"이라며 "신규 원전 건설 계획 백지화와 신고리 5 6호기 건설 중단 방침으로 약 700여개 원자력 공급업체와 95개의 원도급사 그리고 512개 하도급사와 협력사 등이 불안과 일자리 박탈 우려로 밤잠을 이루지 못하고 있다."고 읍소했다. 원자력산업살리기협의회는 무진기연 등 원자력 관련 중소기업 200여개사가 회원으로 가입돼 있다.

Recent automotive market is changing rapidly with eco-friendly, fuel-efficient, unmanned autonomous. In order to grow domestic automotive industry, various companies such as IT, marketing, advertising/PR, production/manufacturing, distribution have to need the fused global value chain(GVC) production system. The purpose of this study is that Small parts makers will look for support measures to enter the GVC of global automakers. To this end, to examine the status and cooperation between vehicle manufacturers and component suppliers in GVC. Part SMEs will look for Realistic and possible support policy direction needed to enter the carmakers GVC. In order that the small parts company have to enter the GVC of the car manufacturers in the automotive industry, the small parts company should understand the nature and governance of large corporations that operate the GVC, and develop a tailored strategy.

Recently, the theory of open innovation emerges as a new innovation paradigm. This paper aims to examine open innovation activities of SMEs. Many firms tend to search new knowledge from various external sources and to pursue to achieve innovation resources or knowledge of external innovators. Particularly, this paper focus on the process of external knowledge networking and open innovation occurred in the process of technology innovation. The data used in this study were those that had been collected for total 3,400 sample SMEs that had conducted R&D. and in-depth interviews were conducted with 14 SMEs located at Chungbuk-Technopark. Empirical findings can be summarized as follows; SMEs tend to search new knowledge from various external sources and to pursue to achieve innovation resources or knowledge of external innovators, because they have lack of innovation resources. therefore, the conducting of open innovation affected positively the innovation performance of SMEs. In addition, empirical findings also indicated that expanding flexibility of labor market enhances open innovation activities of SMEs.

The need for win-win cooperation between small and medium-sized enterprises and large corporations is emphasized. For the sustainable growth of a healthy industry, the attractive parts of large companies and the capabilities of small and medium-sized enterprises must be harmonized and shared. It was also examined what items large companies should consider in selecting small and medium-sized enterprises as a partner. In the case of food producers, when considering safety issues, a comprehensive safety system should be established, not just a single factor. And cooperation is expected between small and medium-sized enterprises and other partners with new technologies such as AI, IoT, 3D printers and 5G technology. It is suggested that corporate development can be achieved by various models through win-win cooperation between large companies and small and medium-sized enterprises.

정부가 대 중소기업간 상생협력을 본격 추진하기 위해 지난해 말 동반성장위원회를 구성하면서 동반성장 정책이 활기를 띄고 있다. 올해 말에는 56개 대기업(건설사 12개 업체)의 동반성장 및 공정거래 협약 실적이 평가 된다. 이에 따라 대기업은 동반성장 협력 방안을 잇달아 내놓고 있다. 지난 4월 15일 10대 대형건설사가 공정거래 및 동반성장 협약을 체결한 것도 정부의 이러한 정책을 반영하기 위함이다. 서울시 등 일부 지자체도 상생을 위한 하도급 정책을 속속 내놓고 있다. 서울시는 하도급 문화 개선 을 위해 ${\Delta}$하도급 직불제 ${\Delta}$표준계약서 사용 ${\Delta}$주계약자 공동도급제 등 3가지 분야를 확대시행 정책 과제로 삼고 올해부터 집중 추진하기로 했다. 인천시 종합건설본부도 4월부터 하도급 대금 직불제 시행에 들어갔다. 본지는 핫이슈로 떠오르고 있는 정부의 동반성장 정책 방향 및 제도개선 현황과 서울시의 하도급 정책, 동반성장지수 평가 대상업체인 12개 건설사의 상생협력 방안에 대해 알아본다.

포스코 광양제철소 내의 협력업체인 (주)선우ENG는 직원이80명 정도되는 중소기업이다. 하지만 안전에 있어서 만큼은 포스코 못지않은 선진 시스템을 갖추고 있는 기업으로 국내 대 기업 못지않게 안전에 투자하고 있는 알찬 기업이다. 규모가 작은 사업장이지만 최상의 안전관리 활동으로 무재해를 달성하고 있는 (주)선우ENG를 찾았다.
