Most of fishing ports on the east coast of Korea have constructed around sand beach. Such fishing port structure had caused important effect in erosion of neighborhood sand beach. In order to solve the problems, we have to understand the mechanism through estimations and accurate reproduction beach erosion. Simulataneously, we have to devise a suitable countermeasure for beach erosion to the object coast. This study suggests economically substantial countermeasure for beach erosion around the fishing port and investigates, the preventive effects using a numerical simulation technique.

The sediment at the majority of fishery harbors located on the east coast of Korea are affccted by the waves and wave-induced currents as the main external force. And the surroundings of the harbors are composed of sandy beaches. Because many harbors are small and their entrances are located in the wave¬breaking zone, they suffer severe siltation and topographical changes. In order to solve the problems, we have to understand the mechanism through estimations and accurate reproduction of the harbor siltation phenomenon. We suggest economically substantial countermeasures for harbor siltation in the small fishery harbors and investigate the preventive effects using a numerical simulation technique.

파랑이 탁월한 영역에 존재하는 중소어항의 대부분을 항내매몰이 중요문제 중의 하나로서, 입ㆍ출항의 곤란 및 반복되는 준설경비의 소요 등으로 경제적 문제를 겪고있다. 따라서 이와 같은 문제를 장기적으로 해결하기 위해서는 항내매몰의 근본적 원인을 빠른 시일 내에 정확히 파악하고, 그 대책공법을 강구할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 파랑 및 연안류제어 구조물의 설치 및 배치 등을 이용한 항내매몰 방지대책을 설정하여 각각의 연안류 및 해빈변형제어효과를 검토하고 항내매몰에 미치는 영향을 검토해 보았다. (중략)

우리나라 동해안에 위치한 대부분의 중소항만 및 어항들은 사빈해안에 건설된 소규모 어항이 주를 이루고 있으며, 항 입구부가 쇄파대 내에 위치하고 있으므로 지형변화가 극심하여, 항내에 매몰현상이 발생되고 있다. 이러한 현상들로 인하여 항내수심을 유지하기 위해 거의 매년 준설을 실시 할 뿐 아니라, 항내매몰로 인해 수심이 낮아져 배가 전복되어 인명피해가 발생하는 등 극심한 피해를 입고 있어 항내 및 항로매몰이 적지않은 사회적 문제로 대두되고 있는 실정이다. (중략)

파랑과 해빈류가 표사이동의 주외력으로 작용하고 있는 동해안에 위치한 대부분의 중소항만 및 어항들은 사빈 해안에 건설되어져 있으며, 어항의 건설로 인해 항의 인근해안은 구조물 건설로 인한 해안침식 현상이 유발되고 있다. 이러한 현상들로 인해 천해의 관광자원인 해수욕장의 침식이라는 극심한 피해를 입고 있으며, 해안침식이 사회적 문제로 파급되고 있는 실정이다. (중략)

Most of small harbours are suffering serious harbour siltation problems in the eastern coast of Korea. Also, many of them necessitate maintenance dredging every year. In order to solve these problems, we have to predict the amount of previous harbour siltation. In the present study, numerical prediction of the harbour siltation has been accomplished using numerical model of 3D beach deformation around a structure. And, also the validity of the model has been confirmed by the field investigation.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the conditions of small fishing village & fishing port and to suggest the development direction of them. For this, we tried to field survey and research of development demands for 100 sample places. The results of this study were as follows; First, Small fishing villages & fishing ports have different characteristics and their primary industry was a fisheries. And they have a poor condition for basic facilities and industrial facilities, more smaller fishing port. Second, The living satisfaction of residents was decreased gradually because of a decrease in amount of catching fish, a population aging and etc. Residents and public officers was to demand an expansion of basic facilities, an investment of national expenditure and a simplification of administrative procedure. Third, We could establish the development directions by geographical location and funcion of them. And They must development consider their characteristics.
