Verification of Weight Effect Using Actual Flight Data of A350 Model (A350 모델의 비행실적을 이용한 중량 효과 검증)

  • Aircraft weight is an important factor affecting performance and fuel efficiency. In the conceptual design stage of the aircraft, the process of balancing cost and weight is performed using empirical formulas such as fuel consumption cost per weight in estimating element weight. In addition, when an airline operates an aircraft, it promotes fuel efficiency improvement, fuel saving and carbon reduction through weight management activities. The relationship between changes in aircraft weight and changes in fuel consumption is called the cost of weight, and the cost of weight is used to evaluate the effect of adding or reducing weight to an aircraft on fuel consumption. In this study, the problems of the existing cost of weight calculation method are identified, and a new cost of weight calculation method is introduced to solve the problem. Using Breguet's Range Formula and actual flight data of the A350-900 aircraft, two weight costs are calculated based on take-off weight and landing weight. In conclusion, it was suggested that it is reasonable to use the cost of weight based on the take-off weight and the landing weight for other purposes. In particular, the cost of weight based on the landing weight can be used as an empirical formula for estimating element weight and optimizing cost and weight in the conceptual design stage of similar aircraft.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 휴대용 보병무기체계의 배낭 설계를 위하여 인체공학적인 물자취급 중량을 검토하는데 있다. 제품설계시 인체공학적 설계 가이드라인과 운용현황을 조사분석하여 효율적인 운용성능을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 기존의 설계 가이드라인을 분석한 결과, 병사의 인체사이즈 측면에서는 5%tile의 경우 -091kg으로 여유중량이 부족하지만, 95%tile에서는 34.17kg까지 여유중량이 발생하는 것으로 판단된다. 이러한 연구결과는 물자취급시 편하고, 효율적인 운용성능을 창출하기 위해서 휴대중량과 이동거리에 따라 여유중량을 관리해야 할 것으로 판단된다.

LSHM은 제어성, 효율, 힘/중량면에서 매우 우수하고, LIM은 제어성과 신뢰성면, LSHM에 비하여 기술의 단순성에 의한 가공비와 유지보수비가 저렴한 측면에서 유리하다. 2. 효율면에서는 LHSM이 LIM이 보다 유리하지만 리니어모우터의 재작비와 특랙의 제작면에서는 LSRM이 유리하고, 리니어모우터의 자체중량이나, 트랙의 필요한 철의 중량면에서는 LIM이 유리하다. 3. LIM에비해 LSHM이 추진/부상이 동시에 발생할 수 있도록 수직력이 크게 발생하며, 효율과 역율이 매우좋다. 4. 가장 선두로 개발하고 있는 독일과 일본의 기술개발 연혁을 검토해 보면 공통점은 초기에는 유도형 LIM으로 시작하였다가 나중에는 동기형인 LIM으로 추진시스템으로 전환하였다.

A Study on the Evaluation of Cleaning Ability Using Optically Stimulated Electron Emission Method (광전자방출(OSEE)법을 이용한 세정성 평가 연구)

  • In order to choose alternative environmental-friendly cleaning agents, it is very important in the present point that the systematic selection procedures should be introduced and applied to the industry through the evaluation of their cleaning ability, environmental characteristics, and economical factors, and that the objective and effective evaluation methods of cleanliness should be established for the industry. Thus, a novel cleaning evaluation method utilizing optically stimulated electron emission (OSEE) among various methods of cleaning ability was studied in this study. The contaminants used in this cleaning experiments were flux, solder, grease, cutting oil, and mixed soil of 35% grease and 65% cutting oil. The cleaning agents developed or prepared in our laboratory were employed and their cleaning ability were comparatively evaluated by the OSEE, gravimetry and contact angle methods. The experimental results in this work showed that flux cleaning efficiency measured by the OSEE method was similar to that of the gravimetric method, but that the OSEE method could not be compared with gravimetric method for the case of solder or grease cleaning because the contaminants radiate or absorb ultra-violet light. In case of cutting oil cleaning, the gravimetric method indicated its limitation of cleaning efficiency of cutting oil since it showed cleaning efficiency of 100%, even though residual soil remaining on the substrate surface a little after its cleaning. The comparative experimental results of cleaning ability evaluated by the OSEE- and contact angle measurement methods showed that they were similar in case of cleaning of flux, mixed soil and cutting oil. It was judged that the contact angle measurement method could evaluate the cleaning ability more precisely than the OSEE method for cleaning solder and grease.

  • In recent years, Korea's aviation industry has been developing rapidly due to the emergence of low-cost airlines. In order to survive in such competition, airlines are making various efforts to save the operation cost as much as possible. Fuel costs account for more than 25% of operating costs. For airlines, reducing aircraft fuel costs is an important part of improving profitability. In this study, analyzing the difference weight between flightplan and W&B Manifest for calculated the fuel that was unnecessarily loaded. As a method to calculate the unnecessary fuel was used by Airbus company flight planning program.

  • 농축산 배설물을 호기성 환기처리하여 토양에 환원이용을 목적으로 컴포스트(Compost)화 할 때에 공극률(Pore space)에 미치는 물리적인 자 성설의 상화관계를 공명하고져 실험을 수행하였다. 본 연구는 여러가지 수준의 압축력에 따른 첨가 재료의 공극률 변화 과정 측정하고 이와 동시에 서로 다른 5종류의 재료별 입자 크기에 대하여 영수률, 용적 중량, 용적 밀도 및 입자 대소가 공극률에 미치는 영향을 조사분석 하였으며 그 결과는 아래와 같다. 1. 세립자 재료의 용적 밀도는 세립자보다 더욱 크게 나타났다. 2. 염수률과 용적 중량이 증가하면 용적밀도는 커지나 공극률은 감소하였다. 3. 공극률은 영수률과 용적 중량보다 첨가재료의 입자크기와 대소분포에 더욱 커다란 영향을 받고 있었다. 4. 영수률이 55~65%이고, 용적중량이 0.25~0.38g/cm2이며 입자크기가 1.5~5cm인 범위내의 효율적인 콤포스트화에 있어서 공극률은 65~80%의 범위를 형성하고 있음을 알 수 있다.

  • 지구온난화와 농업 활동 감소로 인해 농작물 생산량이 줄어드는 추세이다. 4차 산업혁명 시대를 맞아 농업 분야에서도 인공지능 기술을 활용하여 효율적인 작물 재배가 가능해지고 있다. 작물의 수확량을 최고로 끌어올릴 수 있는 시간대별 최적 환경을 알아낼 수 있다면 식물 재배와 관련한 제반 사업에 도움이 될 것이다. 본 연구에서는 LSTM 알고리즘을 이용하여 상추의 일별 중량을 예측하는 인공지능 모델을 생성하였다. 제안하는 AI 예측 모델을 통해, 보다 효율적인 작물 재배가 가능해질 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

A study of the Infantry Backpack System for Portability and Mobility Performance (보병용 배낭의 휴대 및 이동 성능에 관한 연구)

  • The objective of this study is to weight analysis portable backpack system of infantry weapon systems for ergonomic design in manual materials handling tasks. For the product design, we analyzed the ergonomic guidelines and status of similar weapon systems by comparing the efficient operation performance provide for the basic data. Result of this study, the relationship between portability and mobility presented for schematic. In the short distance of the short biomechanical criterion, 1-2 hours in the middle of moving psychophysical criterion, 4 hour or more long-distance criterion applied for the physiological criterion for easy of trade-offs that need to be considered. This study suggests for 4 research items for infantry backpack system in manual materials handling tasks. Throughout the result of anthropometric populations, the 5%tile body weight for -0.91kg but 95%tile in 34.17kg considered to be margin for free, easy and efficient operation for the weight margin between portability and mobility in manual materials handling tasks.

  • An on-board truck scale is an essential technical solution for preventing overload, which makes the driver aware of the commercial vehicle weight. This study analyzed the effects of the driving pattern and transportation efficiency by the IoT Platform service for an on-board truck scale. A comparison of before and after installation using the long-term monitored data confirmed the reduction effects both of the overload ratio and overweight value, and their effects on increasing the transportation efficiency. In addition, the analysis result of the driving route showed that the installation of an on-board truck scale could be a more effective way of preventing overload than increasing the weighing checkpoints.
