Factors in Managing Hyperlipidemia in Middle-aged Adults (중년기성인의 고지혈증관리 요인)

  • This study was attempted to identify factors for managing hyperlipidemia in middle-aged adults. The research method is a secondary analysis study analyzing the 2018 data from the Korean Medical Panel Survey. The subjects of the study were 622 adults aged between 40 and 65 who were diagnosed with hyperlipidemia. As a result of the study, it was found that there was a correlation between the level of education and the presence or absence of hyperlipidemia management (𝒳2= 7.285, p = .026), and that there was a correlation between the subject's subjective health status and the presence or absence of hyperlipidemia management (𝒳2= 7.295, p =.026). Middle age is a time when the physical aging process begins in earnest, and there is a high possibility of developing chronic diseases, and hyperlipidemia is an early disease that causes chronic diseases. Accordingly, active health management is necessary, and in particular, the development of differentiated programs for hyperlipidemia management tailored to the subject's education level and health status is required.

The Effect Dementia Knowledge and Attitude on Dementia Preventive Behavior of Adults (중년기 성인의 치매에 대한 지식과 태도가 치매예방행위에 미치는 영향 요인)

  • This study is a narrative research study to investigate the knowledge, attitudes and preventive behaviors of middle-aged adults with dementia and to identify related factors. The study subjects were a total of 230 middle-aged adults living in K and P cities, and data were collected from March 2018 to July 2019 using a structured questionnaire. Collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS / WIN 23.0 program. As a result of the study, the knowledge of dementia was 9.97 out of 15, the attitude of dementia was 47.45 out of 60, and the prevention of dementia was 27.75 out of 36. Knowledge of dementia had a positive correlation with dementia attitude (r=.122, p=.050) and dementia prevention behavior (r=.122, p<.05). Factors affecting dementia prevention behavior include marital status (β=.129, p<.05), education level (β=.219, p<.000), and type of disease (β=-.108, p<.000), presence of religion (β =-. 219, p <.000), interest in dementia (β=.237, p<.000), presence of drinking (β=.317, p<.000), smokingPresence or absence (β=.235, p<.000) and knowledge of dementia β=.316, p<.000) were found to have a significant effect. Therefore, in order to improve dementia prevention behavior of middle-aged adults, it is necessary to develop customized education programs for middle-aged adults to practice knowledge of dementia, positive attitudes, and good lifestyle.

  • Today women's social participation is highly increasing, and especially the middle-aged women's activity is amazing. However, many ladies have trouble in wearing suits or jackets. Because the current ready-made apparels focus on young and slender women, and accordingly the current size system is made for them. So it is necessary to develop new size system for general ladies who are hardly well-proportioned figures. The survey of mid-life ladies in this Paper vividly reveals the above Problem. Many ladies dissatisfied with the fitness of the existing apparels. Therefore updating the current size system of ladies' apparels is badly needed. It also helps reducing corporates' stock-holding costs and customer's clothes-adjusting expenses.

  • 산업화로 인한 급속한 경제성장과 증가하는 여성들의 사회진출은 의생활에서 보다 편 하고 간소화된 생활양식을 추구하게 되고, 이에따라 의복의 구입에 있어서도 맞춤복보다 는 시간, 경제면에서 유리한 기성복을 선호하게 되었다. 불특정다수를 위한 기성복의 생산에 있어서 개개인의 체형에 보다 적합성이 좋은 제품의 개발을 위해 다수인의 다항 목계측치에 근거한 치수체계의 설정은 무엇보다 중요한 문제가 된다. 우리나라에서는 1979년 공업진흥청에 의해 제 1차 국민표준체위조사가 실시되었으며, 1986년에는 제 2차 조사가 실시되어 그 결과를 토대로 한국 공업규격의 의류치수 규격이 제정 발표되었다. 그러나 이것은 연령에 따른 신체적 변화를 고려한 체형분류가 되어 있지 않으며, 제품 호수에 따라 동일한 간격을 둔 체계였다. 1992년에는 제 3차 국민표준체위조사가 실시 되어 그 결과가 발표되었다. 의복은 인체계측에 의한 신체 각 부위의 치수와 형태를 기초로 2차원적인 소재에 적절한 원형을 사용하여 재단, 봉제과정을 거쳐 3차원의 입체 로 구성하고 인체에 대응시킨 것이므로 기성복에 대하여 소비자의 치수적합성을 만족시 키기 위해서는 체형의 특징을 고려해야 할 것이다. 특히, 성장이 완료된 성인 여성은 출산후 중년에 접어들면서 신체적 특성이 변하여 체형이 바뀌는 경향이 있으므로 전 여성에대한 의류치수규격보다는 연령의 구분과 체형의 분류가 필요하다고 본다. 더우기 의류업체들의 판매대상의 세분화는 이를 더욱 뒷받침해주고 있다. 따라서 체형의 분류는 의복 치수 규격에 적용되어 의복의 종류에 따라 대다수의 불특정 다수 에게 보다 잘 맞는 의복 치수를 제공할 것이며, 그 치수의 정확성을 증대시키게 된다. 김성득(1991)은 소비자의 기성복에 대한 구매확률을 높이기 위해서는 규격치를 등간격 으로 하기 보다는 소비자의 분포밀도가 높은 곳일수록 규격치 간격들을 좁게 설정함으 로써 생산자 입장에서 총손실을 줄이고, 상대적 비용절감효과를 갖게할 수 있다고 하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 성인 여성기성복의 치수적합성을 높이기위하여 출산 후 중년에 접어 들면서 체형이 변화되는 것을 고려하여 연령을 분류하고(18세-34세, 30세-51세), 각 연령 집단에 따른 체형을 각각 3가지로 분류하였다. 이에 따라 의복 생산시의 총손실을 줄이기위한 상의, 하의생산시 필요한 부위별 최적규격치 간격을 제시하였다.

The Relations of Aging Anxiety and Depression Focused on Middle Aged People of Digital University (디지털대학 중년기 재학생의 노화불안과 우울에 관한 연구)

  • This paper was to explore the effect of aging anxiety of the middle-aged on depression in aging society. This survey was conducted from September, 2013 to December, 2013 and 302responses from the survey were used for the analysis. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, pearson correlation and Multiple Regression. The research findings could be summarized as the followings. First, the mean scores of aging anxiety and depression were lower than average. Second, aging anxiety was the significant predictor to explain depression. Third, income also was the significant predictors which have the effectiveness to the depression.

Production Model Development of Mass Customized Clothing - Focused on Clothes for Middle-aged Women - (매스 커스터마이제이션 의류제품의 생산모델 개발 -중년여성복을 중심으로-)

  • 이 연구에서는 대량생산의 장점인 낮은 가격대 창출과 주문생산의 장점인 고객지향을 추구하는 매스 커스터마이제이션(Mass Customization) 방식에 따른 의류제품의 생산모델을 개발하였다. 특히 체형이 매우 다양한 시기에 있어 이러한 고객지향적 의복이 더욱 필요한 중년여성들을 대상으로 하여 기성복에서 얻을 수 없는 인체적합도가 높은 의복을 생산할 수 있도록 하였다. 이 모델은 소비자 체형파악과 체형별 패턴제작의 어려움을 해결해주기 때문에 의류제조업체의 패턴제작과정을 용이하게 해주고, 모든 생산이 주문에 따라 이루어지므로 재고부담을 감소시키게 된다. 생산모델은 크게 5 단계로 나뉜다. 1 단계는 소비자가 제품에 대한 정보를 얻어 선택을 하는 단계이고, 2 단계는 소비자의 신체치수 계측 및 입력, 체형판별의 단계이다. 1) 단계에서는 이러한 내용을 포함하는 주문서를 작성하여 본사로 전송하고. 4 단계에서는 제품을 생산한다. 그리고 5 단계는 제품의 배송 단계이다. 이 연구에서 실질적으로 검증한 매스 커스터마이제이션 의류제품의 생산과정은 주문단계에서 패턴의 수정 단계까지이며, 이후의 마커제작에서 배송단계까지는 생산설비상의 문제 때문에 설명으로 제시하였다. 또한 매스 커스터마이제이션 의류제품에서 특히 중요한 단계는 고객에 대학 접근방법과 가봉 없이도 인체적합도가 높은 의복을 생산하는 것이므로 이 연구에서는 이를 중심으로 다루었다.

The influence of the locus of control of middle aged on life satisfaction and preparation for old age among in the times of convergence (융복합시대 중년기성인의 내외통제성이 생활만족도 및 노후준비에 미치는 영향)

  • This paper was to explore the effect of the locus of control on life satisfaction and preparation for old age among middle-aged adults in the time of Convergence. This survey was conducted from September to December 2013, and 284responses were used for the analysis. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, Pearson Correlation and Multiple Regression. The research findings could be summarized as the followings. First, the locus of control had significantly positive effect on life satisfaction, Second, the locus of control also had significant effect on preparation for old age among middle-aged adults. Third, life satisfaction between preparation for old age had positive correlations with life satisfaction.

  • The society advance of a development of the science technique and women from the industrialization, women prefered the tailor-made clothes to the convenient ready-made clothes in the aspect to be economic and save time in the clothing habits. After marriage, middle age women change the comparison of their body due to the pregnancy and birth, the body girth of them increases compared with young woman, the winding of the waist comes to be small and they show the feature of body which the vibration thickness and the brachial girth grows bigger. The reason is that the problem on the fitness of the ready-made clothes comes into being. According to this result which analyzes a ready-made clothes body of the jacket-brand which does the middle age woman to the target in research, actual purchasing age appears than the age which most companies do to the target so that it is high, and though the body is divided in KS standard, the measurement distinguished without the body and most companies were producing the jacket. There was many case to select a fitting model Among a designer or within firm employee with the similar body and measurement. It was revealed that high rate of mending relation of a sale jacket of the company. Research about the body of the ready-made clothes is thought by continuing over there.

A Study on the Effect of Osteoporosis Knowledge, Osteoporosis Preventive Behaviors and Self-Efficacy of Middle Aged Women on Health-Related Quality of Life (중년기 여성의 골다공증 지식 및 예방행위, 자기효능감이 건강관련 삶의 질에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose : To examine the relationship among osteoporosis knowledge, osteoporosis preventive behaviors, self-efficacy and health-related quality of life of middle aged women and to find out factors which influence health-related quality of life. Methods : For study subjects, female patients aged 40 to 64 and hospitalized at the surgical wards of two general hospitals in G city were conveniently sampled. The data have been collected from January 11 to March 10, 2018. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression. Results : The average score of osteoporosis knowledge was 12.50±3.47, the average score of osteoporosis preventive behaviors was 44.96±8.16 and the average score of osteoporosis self-efficacy was 40.38±8.07. The factors influencing EQ-5D Index in health-related quality of life were comorbidity, osteoporosis preventive behaviors, osteoporosis knowledge and average monthly income, which could account for health-related quality of life at 18.0%. The factors influencing EQ-5D VAS were osteoporosis preventive behaviors, self-efficacy, osteoporosis knowledge and age of menarche, which could account for health-related : Higher osteoporosis knowledge, osteoporosis preventive behaviors and self-efficacy, the better the subjects health-related quality of life. Therefore, as a way to promote health-related quality of life of middle aged women, the constant development and the application of a program which may promote osteoporosis knowledge, osteoporosis preventive behaviors and self-efficacy are needed.
