소비자 자신감과 패션연출 자신감이 중고패션제품에 대한 태도와 구매의도에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Consumer Self-confidence and Self-confidence in Fashion Coordination on Attitude toward Secondhand Fashion Goods and Purchase Intention of Secondhand Fashion Goods)

  • This study examined the influence of consumer self-confidence and self-confidence in fashion coordination on the attitude toward secondhand fashion goods and the purchase intention of secondhand fashion goods. Questionnaire data from 346 university students were analyzed and the results were summarized as follows. First, there were five factor solutions in consumer self-confidence: information acquisition, personal outcomes decision making, social outcomes decision making, consideration-set information, persuasion knowledge. Second, information acquisition, social outcomes decision making, and consideration-set information had significant effects on self-confidence in fashion coordination, while personal outcomes decision making and persuasion knowledge had no effect on self-confidence in fashion coordination. Third, self-confidence in fashion coordination had a significant effect on attitude toward secondhand fashion goods however, it had no effect on purchase intention of secondhand fashion goods. Fourth, attitude toward secondhand fashion goods had a significant effect on the purchase intention of secondhand fashion goods. The results show diverse implications for marketers and managers of secondhand fashion goods.

중고등학생의 업사이클링 인지와 업사이클 패션제품 구매행동에 따른 환경의식, 의복재활용행동, 패션관심 (Environmental consciousness, clothing recycling behavior and interest in fashion by awareness of upcycling and purchasing behavior for upcycled fashion products of middle & high school students)

  • 중고등학생을 대상으로 업사이클링에 대한 인지와 업사이클 패션제품 구매행동에 따른 환경의식, 의복재활용행동, 패션관심의 차이를 살펴보았다. 중고등학생의 환경의식은 여자가 남자보다 높으며, 의복재활용행동은 디자인계 고등학생이 일반계 고등학생보다 높게 나타났다. 패션관심은 고등학생이 중학생보다, 디자인계 고등학생이 일반계 고등학생보다, 여학생이 남학생보다 높은 것으로 나타났다. 업사이클링에 대한 인지는 낮게 나타났는데 중학교와 일반고보다 디자인고에서 그리고 남학생보다 여학생이 많이 알고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 업사이클링에 대한 정보는 인터넷과 방송매체를 통해 얻는 것으로 나타났으며, 업사이클링에 대해 인지하는 학생들이 인지하지 못하는 학생들보다 환경의식, 의복재활용행동, 패션관심 모두 높게 나타났다. 중고등학생은 업사이클링에 대한 인지가 높지 않아 업사이클 패션제품을 구매한 경험이 적으며, 구매경험이 있는 학생들은 환경의식, 의복재활용행동과 패션관심이 모두 높게 나타났다. 업사이클 패션제품을 구매한 이유는 독특함과 디자인 때문인 것으로 나타나 환경보호 차원에서 시작된 업사이클 패션제품이라고 하더라도 제품의 디자인이 구매에 중요한 역할을 하는 것을 알 수 있었다.

  • This study explores application of upcycling design methods in structural transformation of second-hand denim clothing, aiming to achieve sustainable design objectives. By drawing inspiration from Liu Qing's research methods in the field of circular utilization of denim clothing, this study collected and analyzed cases of structural transformation of used denim clothing from 2020 to 2023. It summarized structural transformation design methods for used denim clothing. Through the development of design works, this study aims to find out the best upgrading and renovation design strategy by applying the method of structural renovation design. This study aims to support the development of a sustainable fashion industry and promote recycling and upcycling of discarded clothing fabrics, thereby reducing resource waste and environmental impact.

비영리 중고가게에서 패션제품 소비자의 구매 결정요인 (Factors affecting fashion consumers' purchase decisions in nonprofit thrift stores)

  • With the increasing popularity of nonprofit thrift shopping, new marketing strategies are needed to respond to accelerated competition in the secondhand market. To help guide the development of marketing strategies for nonprofit thrift stores, this study aims to identify factors impacting consumers' buying behavior for secondhand fashion items sold in nonprofit thrift stores. Specifically, this study investigated 1) the effects of secondhand fashion selection criteria (i.e., design, brand name, lower price) and personal factors (i.e., gender, household income, beliefs about environment) on the secondhand fashion consumption experience in nonprofit thrift stores and 2) the moderating effects of point of purchase (POP) messages (i.e., "50% Off Sale," "New Arrivals," "Helping Others") on the relationships between purchase intention and impulsive buying in nonprofit thrift stores. An online survey was used to collect the data, and a total of 197 usable responses were received. The results showed that 1) gender, household income, beliefs about environment, and brand name affected the secondhand fashion consumption experience and 2) the POP message "Helping Others" negatively moderated the relationship between purchase intention and impulsive buying in nonprofit thrift stores. These results can help nonprofit thrift stores' managers to develop effective marketing strategies to increase their profits, which can be used to accomplish their mission of addressing social issues.

  • This study investigates the influence of consumption value on attitude and the repurchase intention of secondhand fashion goods. In addition, this study examines the effect of consumption value on attitudes according to self-confidence in fashion coordination. Questionnaire data from 220 university students who made purchases of secondhand fashion goods were analyzed. The results were as follows. First, there were 5 factor solutions for the consumption value of secondhand fashion goods: rare value, emotional value, functional value, social contribution value, and economic value. Second, rare value, social contribution value and economic value had a positive impact on the attitude toward secondhand fashion goods. Third, attitude had positive impact on the repurchase intention of secondhand fashion goods. Fourth, there was a significant difference in the magnitude of the effect of consumption value on attitude according to self-confidence in fashion coordination. The results of this study provide various guidelines for marketers or retailers who are interested in secondhand fashion goods.

  • The purpose of the study is to look at the middle and high school student's recognition of beauty Arts. The collected data were analyzed by frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability test, t-test, correlations analysis, from which the result is as follows. Firstly, the lower levels of beauty art are comprehensive interest, personal interest professional interest, effort type, management type and consumption type. Secondly, Beauty art interest and attitude by gender and school levels showed meaningful difference. Thirdly, there is meaningful correlations between beauty art interest and beauty art attitude.

중고생들에까지 파고든 일본대중잡지 수입실태와 문제점

  • 일본은 잡지왕국이라 해도 무방할 정도로 많은 잡지가 만들어지고 팔린다. 한국에 상륙한 패션시 "논노"는 한 서점에서 한달에 70-80권 정도나 판매되는 '인기도서'가 되어 있는 것이 현실이다. 이제는 자그마한 동네서점에까지 버젓이 놓여 있는 이들 일본잡지의 수입액이 1990년말 현재 7천억엔에 육박하고 있는 실정이다.

중고(中古) 명품(名品) 사이트의 운영실태(運營實態)와 소비자(消費者) 특성(特性)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (The Study on Consumer in Second Hand Luxury Market)

  • The purposes of this study were to review the management systems of internet web sites dealing with 'second hand luxury goods', examine purchasing motives and the level of satisfaction, and identify the differences of consumers' characteristics between purchasers and non-purchasers. 8 representative internet web sites were investigated. And 80 purchasers and 94 non-purchasers were surveyed using questionnaires. The data were analyzed using t-test and frequency analysis. The results were as followings: 1) Most purchasers of second hand luxury goods were women aged 20's. They used internet web sites to purchase real luxury goods more cheaply and were satisfied with their purchase behavior; 2) Both purchasers and non-purchasers of second hand luxury goods got high scores for the self-esteem and the propensity of materialism and conspicuous consumption which were above average. But both of them were less influenced by reference group; and 3) The propensity of materialism and the preference to name brands of purchasers were higher than those of non-purchasers.

포스트 팬데믹 시대의 중고 패션 소비 인식 변화 (Changes in the Perception of Second-hand Fashion Consumption in the Post-pandemic Era)

  • Even before the Covid-19 outbreak, the second-hand fashion market has been growing as the fashion industry strives towards sustainability. It has also accelerated due to the economic contraction caused by the pandemic. In previous studies, the second-hand market has been steadily studied; however, the research is insufficient compared to the diversified market. Therefore, this study investigates changes in consumers' perception of the second-hand fashion market affected by Covid-19. This study collected text data with the keyword 'second-hand fashion' from various blogs. We analyzed 24,000 posts before and after the Covid-19 outbreak by applying the LDA algorithm for topic modeling and content analysis. Seven and nine different topics for the period before and after the pandemic respectively were derived. The results revealed that during the pandemic the consumers realized the practical value of sustainability in their daily lives than they did before the pandemic. Furthermore, they tried to minimize transaction anxiety by using diverse platforms with advanced technology. They also realized economic value by buying and selling sneakers in the popular sneakers resale market. The results could help understand the rapidly growing second-hand fashion market during Covid-19.

'서클렌즈 패션' 찬 · 반 양론

  • 요즘 10대 청소년들에게 컬러 콘택트렌즈로 멋부리기가 유행이 되고 있다. 특히 눈을 더 크고 예쁘게 보이려고 '서클렌즈'가 붐을 일으키고 있다. 이는 근래 연예인들이 쓰기 시작하면서 점차 중고생으로 연령층이 낮아지고 있는 추세다. 그러나 자칫 잘못할 경우 각막손상을 일으켜 시력을 상실 할 수 있다고 경고하는 등 안과 전문의들이 잇따라 경고하는 등 착용여부에 논란이 일고 있다. 중고생 고객층이 많은 까닭에 일부 안경점에서는 3~5만원대의 낮은 렌즈가격으로 세일하고 있어 더욱 부채질하고 있다. 한 의과대학은 최근 렌즈착용에 대한 설문조사를 벌인 결과 렌즈 사용자 3명중 1명이 이미 합병증을 앓고 있는 것으로 드러나 전반적인 렌즈 착용에 대한 심각성을 예고 하고 있다. 사회적 문제로 부각되고 있는 서클렌즈에 대한 논란을 짚어봤다.
