  • 신뢰할 만한 이동 에이전트 시스템을 구축하기 위해서는 이동 에이전트의 결함 내성 기능이 중요하다. 지금까지 여러 결함 내성 기법이 제안되었는데, 그 중의 하나가 검사점 기법이다. 에이전트의 중간 상태를 저장하는 검사점 기법은 에이전트 복제 기법에 비해 훨씬 적은 비용을 보장하는 반면, 검사점이 저장된 사이트의 결함 발생 시 에이전트 실행이 일시 또는 영구히 중지되는 문제가 발생한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 k-결함 허용 검사점 기법을 제안한다. 이 기법에서는 에이전트 이동 경로에 저장된 검사점을 관리하는 관찰자들을 두어, 에이전트 실행 사이트의 결함 발생 시 관찰자간의 여론 수렴 과정을 통해 결함에 영향을 받지 않은 최근 검사점으로부터 에이전트의 실행을 재개시킨다.

Effect of Food Additives on Inhibiting the Browning of Model Solutions for Doenjang (Synergist로서 사용된 식품첨가물이 된장모델액의 갈변억제에 미치는 영향)

  • The effect of synergists having chelating ability on inhibiting browning were studied with a giucose-glutamic acid model for doenjang containing citric acid as the anti-browning agent and iron ion. The model solutions were prepared by dissolving 0.1 M glucose, 0.1 M glutamic acid, 50 mM citric acid, 0.2 mM $FeCl_2$ and synergist in 1 M phosphate buffer (pH 7.0), heating at $50^{\circ}C$ for 24 hr and storing at $30^{\circ}C\;or\;40^{\circ}C$ for four weeks. Synergists were chitosan, gallic acid, methyl benzoate, pyrophosphate and tannic acid; they were used at the following concentrations: gallic acid, pyrophosphate and tannic acid at 0.015% and 0.15%; chitosan and methyl benzoate at 0.0075% and 0.015%. Anti-browning capacities had a tendency to decrease greatly after three weeks in the case of storage at $30^{\circ}C$, whereas they decreased with storage time during storage at $40^{\circ}C$. However, anti-browning capacities of samples containing 0.015% tannic acid and 0.15% pyrophosphate were higher than that of sample without synergist by 32% after storage at $30^{\circ}C$ for four weeks. Gallic acid, tannic acid and pyrophsphate also inhibited the formation of Maillard reaction intermediates such as fluorescent compound and 3-deoxyglucosone due to the high chelating ability with iron ion after four weeks of storage at $30^{\circ}C$. The effect of these compounds on the inhibition of formation of Maillard reaction intermediates was higher at 0.15% than at 0.015%. Moreover, gallic acid increased the browning by forming colored complexes, and tannic acid generated black precipitates. Therefore, pyrophosphate of food additives was found to be the most useful synergist of citric acid, the anti-browning agent for doenjang.

  • 다양한 응용 분야에서 점차 증가하고 있는 XML 문서를 효과적으로 저장하고 검색하는 방법에 대한 연구가 많이 이루어지고 있다. XML 문서의 정보를 데이터베이스에 저장하는 방법으로 분할 저장 방식과 비분할 저장 방식이 있는데, 본 논문에서는 두 가지 방법의 중간자적인 형태를 취함으로써 문서의 구조적인 정보를 효과적으로 표현하고, 검색 결과 재구성 시에 발생하는 오버헤드를 제거할 수 있는 시스템에 대해서 설명하도록 한다. 복잡한 계층 구조의 XML 문서를 서비스의 목적에 따라서 중요하다고 판단되는 단편노드의 단위로 구분하고 단편노드 안에 존재하는 세부 엘리먼트 및 속성에 대해서 별칭을 사용하는 검색 필드를 미리 구성해 놓음으로써, XML 문서의 구조적 특성을 명확하게 알지 못하거나 질의어 작성에 익숙하지 못한 사용자에게 보다 사용하기 편리한 XML 문서 검색 서비스를 제공할 수 있다.

The Effect of Various Humectants on Equilibrium Moisture Content and Storage Stability of Seasoned Squid (여러가지 보습제가 조미오징어 평형수분함량에 미치는 영향)

  • This study was, firstly, to investigate water holding capacity in terms of variation of moisture sorption isotherms of seasoned squid treated with sodium lactate, glycerol, propylene glycol, sorbitol, mannitol, sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate and calcium propionate, and secondly, the effect of humectant treatments on storage stability was studied. The criteria for storage stability was based on three quality factors, namely, lipid oxiations, color development by non-enzymatic browning reactions and lipid oxidation, and mold growth. The effect of humectants on equilibrium moisture content was in the following increasing order; mannitol < sorbitol < sodium lactate < propylene glycol < glycerol. The experimental data indicated that sodium lactate has, in practice, potentially positive effect on processing of seasoned squid. During the storage period of 60 days, TBA values increased in all samples tested as humectants concentrations increased up to 10%. However, in the range of 1-7% sodium lactate treatment, the degree of lipid oxidation, browning reactions and mild growth were not high enough to affect the quality of seasoned squid, when compared with conventionally manufactured ones.

  • The KDB-tree is a traditional indexing scheme for retrieving multidimensional data. Much research for KDB-tree family frequently addresses the low storage utilization and insufficient retrieval performance as their two bottlenecks. The bottlenecks occur due to a number of unnecessary splits caused by data insertion orders and data skewness. In this paper, we propose a novel index structure, called as $KDB_{CS}^+$-tree, to process skewed data efficiently and improve the retrieval performance. The $KDB_{CS}^+$-tree increases the number of fan-outs by exploiting bit-vectors for representing splitting information and pointer elimination. It also improves the storage utilization by representing entries as a hierarchical structure in each internal node.

  • In medical visualization fields, anisotropic volume data are more common than isotropic ones. In this paper, we propose an efficient rendering method for anisotropic volume data, which directly computes the intensity of intermediate samples by interpolating the intensity of two corresponding voxels on consecutive slices. Unlike conventional rendering method, it does not require a preprocessing step for generating intermediate slices or additional memory for storing them. In order to evaluate the validity and performance of our method, we applied the method to shear-warp rendering algorithm. Experimental results show that this method improves rendering speed without significantly sacrificing the image quality.

  • 암호학을 세대로 구분하면 단순 패스워드 인증을 1 세대, 송수신 및 데이터 저장 암호를 2 세대, 서명 및 키 공유에 활용하는 암호를 3세대, 키를 사용하지 않는 암호를 4 세대라고 분류 할 수 있다. 현재 암호는 3 세대에 있으며, 암호키를 많이 사용함으로 인하여, 키의 노출로 인한 안전성의 문제를 해결하고자 연구가 있었으며, 4세대 암호로 동형암호가 제시되고 있다. 동형암호는 종대종(End-to-End) 암호의 신뢰성을 보장하며, 중간 과정에서 데이터 처리를 위하여 복호하지 않고서도 가공이 가능하도록 가단성(Malleability)을 제공한다. 이러한 속성을 기반으로 비식별화 처리하지 않고서 원데이터를 처리할 수 있어서, 데이터의 가치가 보존되고, 신뢰성 있는 데이터를 체득할 수 있다. 더욱이 중간단계에서 복호하지 않고서 데이터를 처리는 개인정보보호를 원천적으로 제공할 수 있는 메커니즘으로 파악된다. 본 고에서 동형암호 관련 산업동향 및 국제표준화 동향을 살펴본다.

  • SSD(Solide State Disk) Memory is gradually replacing HDD(Hard Disk Drive) for high speed data input and output processing on Internet server system. In this paper, we proposed efficient data distribution storage algorithm in DRAM based SSD. And we did performance test for proposed algorithm and existing algorithm in the same server environment condition. The result of comparison of performance test is as fellows. Data backup processing time of proposed algorithm was reduced by half than that of existing algorithm.

Maillard Browning Reaction and Antioxidant Activity of Red Ginseng Stored for Long Periods (장기 저장 홍삼의 마이야르 갈색화반응과 항산화효과 특성)

  • Samples of Red Ginseng, which had been. manufactured and packaged by the ' Korean Monopoly Corporation, were stored under ambient temperatures and humidities (12-$28^{\circ}C$ and 55-68 percent) during one to nine years to examine their browning reaction and antioxidant activity. The brown-color intensity of the Red Ginseng samples increased significantly according to increasing storage period. The pH of the aqueous extracts of the samples also increased slightly during the storage, The former seemed to indicate that extensive browning reactions had taken place in the samples during the long storage, The browning reactions seem to be due to mutual reactions of by-products in the final stage rather than to reactions between free amino acids and free sugars in the initial stage of the maillard browning reactions during the storage. The reducing powers of aqueous and ethanol extracts and antioxidant activity of ethyl acetate extracts of the Red Ginseng samples increased with increasing storage time, The increase in the reducing power and antioxidant activity appeared to be directly attributable to the increased amounts of nonenzymatic browning reaction products formed progressively during the long storage periods.

Analysis of Nutritional Components and Development of an Intermediate Moisture Food from Sturgeon (철갑상어의 영양성분 분석 및 중간수분식품 개발)

  • The overall objectives of this study were to examine the potential of sturgeon as an intermediate moisture food (IMF) by measurement of nutritional components, such as minerals, fatty acids, amino acids, and water activity. Chemical compositions were as follows:moisture 73.2%, crude protein 19.9%, crude lipid 5.7%, ash 1.1%, and carbohydrate 0.1%. Minerals were K 317.70, P 259.88, and Mg 29.78 mg/100 g. Fatty acids detected were oleic acid (40.46% of total), palmitic acid (23.27%), and linoleic acid (15.35%). In addition, sturgeon was very rich in glutamic acid (1,189.71 mg/100 g) and deficient in serine (55.12 mg/100 g). Moisture content and water activity of sturgeon dried at $40^{\circ}C$ after soaking in different concentrationsof sugar and salt solutions were 15.12-16.24% and 0.68-0.79, respectively. Sensory evaluation of sturgeon soaked in different concentrations of sugar and salt solutions indicated that sturgeon soaked in 3.0% (w/v) sugar and salt solution scored highest.
