스킨헬스케어를 위한 에코코스메틱 효과성의 주·객관적인 평가 (Subjective and Objective Evaluation of Acne Skin Through Natural Cosmetics with Distilled Bamboo Vinegar Contents for Skin Health Care)

  • 본 연구는 죽초액을 함유한 폼클렌징과 토너, 팩 사용에 따른 여드름 피부상태 개선을 주·객관적 평가를 통해 검증하고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 한국형 여드름 중등도 시스템에 의한 2등급 이상의 여드름 피부 해당자로 광주·전라 지역 고등학교 남·여학생 20명을 선정하였다. 실험 진행을 위해 대상자를 죽초액 함유 폼클렌징, 토너, 팩 사용군(실험군) 10명, 죽초액 비함유 폼클렌징, 토너, 팩 사용군(대조군) 10명으로 나누어 12주 동안 각각 폼클렌징과 토너, 팩사용하도록 하였으며, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 객관적 측정값에 의한 피부개선 효과에서 실험군이 대조군에 비해 이마, 콧등, 왼쪽볼의 모공 감소와 피지 개선 정도가 크게 나타났으며(p<.001), 주관적 평가도구에 의한 피부개선 효과에도 실험군이 대조군에 전반적인 만족도가 높게 나타났다(p<.05, p<.001). 화장품 사용 만족도는 전체 값에서 폼클렌저, 토너, 팩 모두 실험군이 대조군에 비해 높게 나타났으며(p<.01, p<.001), 세부적으로 유용성에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다(p<.01, p<.001). 이상의 결과 죽초액은 여드름 피부상태 개선에 효과적인 천연화장품 소재임이 확인되었다.

죽초액의 팜유와 돈지의 저장 중 산패 억제 효과 (Antioxidative Effect of Bamboo Smoke Distillates in Palm Oil and Lard during Storage)

  • 저장기간 동안 죽초액을 첨가한 팜유와 돈지는 뚜렷한 산패 억제 효과를 보였으며 과산화물가, 산가, TBA가 등 항산화효과는 농도가 증가함에 따라 비례적으로 증가하였고 그 중에서 죽초액 1.0%를 첨가하였을 때의 효과가 가장 좋았으며 그 정도는 BHT 0.02% 첨가하였을 때와 유사하였거나 더 좋았고 ${\alpha}-tocopherol$ 0.02% 첨가한 것보다는 월등히 높은 산화억제 효과를 보였다. 각 식용유지에 죽초액의 첨가량을 달리하였을 때 유도기간과 상대적 항산화효과는 농도가 증가할수록 크게 나타났으며 죽초액 1.0% 첨가가 팜유와 돈지에 대하여 유도기간은 각각 21.24일과 12.37일이었고 상대적 항산화효과는 각각193.97%와 1671.62%로 나타나 죽초액은 돈지에 대한 산화안정성이 팜유에 비하여 컸다.

죽탄 및 죽초액 제조를 위한 인도네시아산 및 국내산 대나무의 탄화특성 비교 연구 (A Study on Carbonization Characteristics of Indonesian and Korean Bamboo for Production of Bamboo Charcoal and Vinegar)

  • Carbonization characteristics of Indonesian bamboos were investigated using lab-scale tube furnace, in order to find optimum design temperature of a carbonizer for producing bamboo charcoal and vinegar. The bamboo samples used in this study are local bamboos from Damyang in Korea, Andong and Petung in Indonesia. Correlation of electric resistance, specific surface area and pH of bamboo vinegar with pyrolysis temperature has been investigated. Electric resistance of the charcoal increased for higher pyrolysis temperature the specific surface area was also increased as carbonization temperature got higher. Charcoal which has specific surface area of over $300\;m^2/g$ could be produced at $700^{\circ}C$. pH of bamboo vinegar was decreased for highter carbonization temperature and vinegar under pH 3 could be produced for all bamboo samples. In this experimental condition, it was found that lower carbonization temperature is better for producing bamboo vinegar of high quality, while higher temperature is better for obtaining bamboo charcoal with larger surface.

죽초액을 급여한 육용 오리고기의 저장기간 중 pH, 지방산패도, 육색 및 관능평가의 변화 (Changes of pH TBA, Meat Color and Sensory Evaluation on Duck Meat Fed Supplemental Bamboo Vinegar during Storage Period at 4$^{\circ}C$)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the changes of pH, TBA, meat color and sensory evaluation on duck meat fed supplemental Bamboo vinegar during storage period at 4$^{\circ}C$ . Experiment animals (five-wk-old, Cherry Valley F$_1$, 100 chicks) were randomly assigned in four treatment groups. Treatments were control, 1%, 2% and 4% based on Bamboo vinegar addition. There was no PH difference in breast meat between groups on day 1 of storage, while pH of bamboo vinegar supplemented group was sustained hi호 after 3 days. TBA values of Bamboo vinegar treated groups were significantly lower than control group (P<0.05) and were steady change during storage. The color value in lightness no difference between groups during the storage. The control was significantly increased in 6 d and 9 d, while the bamboo vinegar treated groups no difference during storage. The redness and yellowness in bamboo vinegar treatment were decreased in 3 d and 9 d storage. The decrease in yellowness was outstandingly observed in bamboo vinegar 1% and 2% treatment (P<0.05). The odor in terms of sensory evaluation was improved by supplemental bamboo vinegar treatment. The significant differences were observed on 1 d, 3 d and 6 d storage (P<0.05). The appearance of sensory evaluation of supplemental Bamboo vinegar treated groups (P<0.05) was significantly different in 1 d and 3 d storage. The results of this study indicate that the supplemental Bamboo vinegar 1% and 2% may improve meat quality during storage period in duck meat.

죽력(竹瀝)(죽초액(竹酢液)) 경구투여(經口投與)와 간유(肝兪) 담유(膽兪) 약침(藥鍼)이 Alcohol 대사(代謝) 및 간기능(肝機能)에 미치는 영향(影響) (Effects of BCL oral administation and herbal acupuncture at BL18, BL19 on Liver function changes induced by Alcohol in the mice)

  • This dissertation was designed to evaluate the effect of BCL(refinded Bambusae Caulis in Liqua-men) oral administration and herbal acupuncture on alcohol metabolism and liver function. For this study. mice were damaged by a large quantity of alcohol and received treatment of either BCL 1 mg/kg in oral or BCL 250㎍/kg in herbal acupuncture-BL18 . BL19 bilateral. and then such parameters as GOT. GPT. catalase and superoxide dismustase(CuZn-SOD, Mn-SOD) were measured. The results of the experiments were summarized as follows. 1. Compared with control group, the proper degree of alcohol in serum was not significantly differ from oral administration group and herbal acupuncture group. 2. Compared with control group. the activity of GOT in serum was significantly reduced both oral administration and herbal acupuncture group. 3. Compared with control group. the activity of GPT in serum was significantly reduced both oral administration and herbal acupuncture group. 4. The activity of catalase in liver cell tissue, compared with control group. was not sigificantly affected either by oral administration and herbal acupuncture group. 5. The activity of CuZn-SOD in liver cell tissue was not significantly change in herbal acupuncture and oral administration group. The activity of Mn-SOD was significantly increased in oral administration group. while it was not the case in acupuncture group. In conclusion. we consider that BCL oral administration and herbal acupuncture is highly effetive in recovering alcohol metabolism and liver disfunction induced by alcohol.

19종 시판 탄화초액의 항산화활성의 평가 및 비교 (Evaluation and Comparison of Antioxidant Activities of Nineteen Commercial Carbonated Vinegar Liquors)

  • 목초액, 죽초액 및 왕겨초액을 포함한 시판 중인 19종의 탄화초액이 가지는 기능성을 DPPH 라디칼에 대한 전자공여활성과 $Fe^{3+}$인 ferricyanide에 대한 환원력, linoleic acid의 자동산화를 억제하는 지질과산화 억제활성, LPS 자극에 의한 생쥐 대식세포주 RAW264.7세포의 NO생산에 대한 억제활성 및 탄화초액 처리에 의한 RAW264.7세포의 세포독성을 중심으로 평가하였다. 실험 결과, 탄화원료에 관계없이 정제도가 떨어지는 탄화초액의 경우, 전자공여활성, 환원력, 지질과산화 억제활성 및 NO 생성 억제활성을 포함한 항산화활성과 세포독성은 모두가 높게 나타났다. 반면, 피부이상 치료용이나 목욕용 정제 탄화액의 경우, 세포독성은 낮지만 전반적인 항산화활성도 낮았고, 특히 염증 유발에 중요한 분자인 NO의 생성을 억제하는 활성도 낮게 나타났다. 19종의 탄화초액 중에서는 왕겨초액이 NO 생성 억제활성을 포함한 항산화활성이 높을 뿐 아니라 세포독성이 낮은 기능성이 뛰어난 탄화초액임이 관찰되었다.

죽력(죽초액)이 유영운동으로 유발된 피로에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of BCL (Bambusae Caulis in Liquamen) on Fatigue Induced by Swimming Exercise)

  • Objectives : Bambusae Caulis in Liquamen (BCL) has been used for stamina fortification in Oriental Medicine for thousand years. The goal of the present study was to investigate the muscle antifatigue effect of BCL. Methods : The mice were divided into three groups. The control group was allowed to swim for 10 minutes without BCL infusion. For the preventive effect of BCL, another group referred to BCL-1 was fed with BCL an hour before the swimming exercise. BCL-2 group for the reversion effect was forced to swim for 10 minutes at first, then fed with BCL followed by half an hour rest and another 10 minute swimming exercise. All the serum samples collected by heart puncture were used for the measuring biochemical factors such as LDH, CPK, glucose, lactate, triglycerides and total cholesterol. Results : In the BCL-2 group, lactate and LDH were significantly reduced compared to the control. BCL infusion during the exercise was effective in metabolizing LDH, reducing the conversion ratio of pyruvate into lactate. In the BCL-1 group, it was not effective in antifatigue function. The level of glucose was significantly reduced in BCL-1 group compared to the control. When the BCL was infused before the exercise, it is assumed that glycogenolysis seen during the exercise was prevented. When the BCL was infused during the exercise, the triglycerides and total cholesterol were increased significantly compared to the control. BCL seems to cause the increase of lipolysis to utilize the fat as an energy source. Unlike other parameters, CPK did not show any changes from BCL infusion. Conclusions : Based on the above results, BCL is found to be involved in energy metabolism. Further studies are needed to find out the underlying mechanism of BCL for its effect on stamina fortification.

담양군 죽초액의 휘발성성분 분석 (Volatile organic compounds of pyroligneous liquor of bamboo sprout produced in damyang-gun)

  • 죽초액은 대나무 숯 제조시 발생하는 강한 산성을 가진 부산물로 80-90%의 수분과 200 종 이상의 유기화합물로 구성되어 있으며, 일반적으로 토양 질 개선, 식물 생육 조절, 아토피 피부염 개선 및 항균효과 등 피부관련 질환에 널리 활용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 담양군에서 제조한 죽초액 휘발성성분을 direct analysis (DA)법, head space solid phase microextraction (HS-SPME)법, stir bar sorptive extraction (SBSE)법을 이용하여 GC/MS로 분리하고 동정하였다. 위 세 가지 방법을 이용하여 103 종의 화합물을 검출하였으며, HS-SPME와 SBSE방법에서 페놀류 화합물의 선택적 분석이 가능하였다. 죽초액의 주요한 화합물은 유효한 생리활성 물질로 알려진 cresol, guaiacol, p-ethyl guaiacol, syringol이 분석되었다.

죽초액의 첨가가 육용오리의 생산성 및 육질에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Supplemental Bamboo Vinegar on Production and Meat Quality of Meat-type Ducks)

  • This experiment was conducted to investigate the effect of the supplemental Bamboo vinegar on production and meat quality of broiler ducks for 35 days. One hundred broiler ducks were divided into 4 groups of 25 ducks. Dietary levels of bamboo vinegar 0%, 1%, 2% and 4% were added to experimental diets ot each of the groups. The wei핌t gain and feed intake of ducks f3d with supplemental bamboo vinegar significantly high compared to those of the control. The carcass rate of the ducks fed with supplemental Bamboo vinegar 1% and 2% were increased compared to that of control, but the ducks fed with 4% treatment was decreased in carcass rate. The lipid and cholesterol content of breast meat of the ducks f3d bamboo vinegar 2% and 4% were significantly decreased (P<0.05). The color values in redness and yellowness were increased by supplemental Bamboo vinegar. Palmitic acid of fatty acid composition in breast meat was decreased by supplemental bamboo vinegar groups, whereas linoleic acid was increased, this difference was especially observed in supplemental Bamboo vinegar 2% (P<0.05). The odor, appearance and taste of sensory evaluation were improved by supplemental bamboo vinegar, especially in supplemental bamboo vinegar 1% and 2% (P<0.05). The results of this study indicate that the supplemental bamboo vinegar 1% and 2% may improve the production and meat quality of broiler ducks.

3종류의 탄화로에서 얻어진 죽초액의 특성 (Characteristics of Bamboo Vinegars Obtained from Three Types of Carbonization Kiln)

  • 3종류의 국내산 대나무의 생재 및 기건재를 3종류의 탄화로에서 탄화시키고 얻어진 죽초액에 대하여 그 특성을 검토하였다. 기계식 전용탄화로의 경우, 대부분 1단 회수 죽초액의 비중, 유기산 및 용해 타르 함량이 높았으나 2단 이상에서 감소하여 3단 이후에 일정해지는 경향을 나타내었으며 전체적으로는 기건재가 생재에 비해 이들 물성이 높게 나타났다. pH의 경우 맹종죽 기건재를 제외하고 생재가 기건재보다 높게 나타났다. 3성분합계는 비중, 유기산, 용해타르 함량과 유사한 경향을 나타내었다. 개량탄화로의 경우, 수종에 따라 전체 물성이 다양하게 나타났다. 간이탄화로에서 탄화시켜 연통온도 80℃로 얻어진 기건 죽초액의 경우 그 이상의 온도에서 얻어진 죽초액보다 비중, 용해타르 함량 및 3성분 합계가 높게 나타났다. 간이, 개량 및 기계식 전용탄화로에서 얻어진 죽초액의 비중은 온도, 수분함유 상태에 상관없이 유기산과 용해타르 함량의 합계와 0.90 정도의 높은 상관관계를 나타내어 앞으로 죽초액 품질 결정에 중요한 지표로 사용될 가능성이 시사되었다. 죽초액의 구성 유기성분의 경우 초산이 주성분이었으며, 리그닌의 열분해에 의하여 생성되는 guaiacyl 및 syringyl골격의 페놀류가 다량 검출되었다.
