  • In this study, active and recently in the field of vocational rehabilitation of persons with disabilities in the industry engaged in the primary mission of assisting you want to promote activation of devices that can perform the work of the harvest cart or unattended devices such as tool boxes and tracking system developed. This system is manually moved from a remote user is able to control, and also, the ability to track users unattended mounted. The system developed in this study in the field of vocational rehabilitation in order to allow all sides to assess more than three meters in open space system for the Y-and W-course driving range of the error from the final destination 5 times the period analyzed. Analysis of the user's tracking system developed without any problem and that could know.

Study on the Direction for Event Data Recorders of Autonomous Vehicle through the Analysis of Traffic Accidents in Korea (교통사고 사례를 통한 자율차 사고기록장치 방향성 연구)

  • The event data recorders (EDR) have been used as a device to help understand traffic accidents. With the recent development of autonomous vehicle (AV), it has become important to prepare the new EDR for AV. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to propose the direction of EDR-AV recording. First of all, the recent EDR data elements and the data elements of AV under discussion at UNECE WP29 EDR/DSSAD (Data Storage System for Automated Driving) were analyzed. The consumer complaint database in Motor Vehicle Recall Center in Korea was analyzed in order to utilize cases of domestic traffic accidents related to advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Consequently, problems with existing EDR were identified through unclear accident cases related to ADAS. In the future, it was proposed to record images in which the ADAS perception systems recognize the surroundings of the accident site as an EDR-AV recording item.

  • 본 논문은 물류창고와 같은 실내 공간에서 RFID와 초음파 센서등을 이용하여 이동로봇이 자율적으로 자신의 위치를 파악하고 관리자가 지정한 목표 물체를 인식하여 간단한 업무를 보조할 수 있는 기법을 제안한다. 실내공간엔 RFID를 지면과 목표물체에 설치하고 로봇은 RFID의 리더기와 물체 접근시 활용이 가능한 추가적 센서를 갖춤으로써 이동시 자기 위치를 실시간으로 파악하고 물체로부터도 고유정보를 얻는다. 초음파 센서 신호의 귀환시간을 활용하여 근접한 물체와의 상대 거리를 추출하고 바닥의 RFID로부터 이미 획득한 자기 위치를 조합하여 목표 물체의 절대 위치를 구한다. 이는 이동 로봇을 중심으로 한 경로지도를 실시간으로 작성하며 동시에 실내의 이동 가능 구조 및 목표 물체의 파악이 가능하여 이동로봇의 자율적 탐색을 위한 최적 경로 계획 수립에 활용 가능하다.

  • 본 논문은 다양한 방향성과 멀티 홉을 고려하여 최적의 콘텐츠 제공을 위한 릴레이 차량 선택 방안을 제안한다. 도로변 기지국의 제한성으로 인해 자율 주행 차량에 탑승한 승객들이 콘텐츠를 충분히 전달받는 데에 있어서, 지연시간과 버퍼링 등의 문제가 발생할 수 있다. 따라서, 도로변 기지국의 보조를 위하여 주위의 다른 차량들을 활용하여 요청된 콘텐츠를 원활하게 제공할 수 있다. 하지만, 기존 방안들은 한 대 또는 너무 많은 차량을 무분별하게 선택함으로써 최적화된 성능을 도출할 수 없었다. 그러므로, 본 논문은 요청 차량과 같은 방향으로 이동하는 1 차 릴레이 차량을 선발하는 데에 있어서 반대쪽에서 오는 2 차 릴레이 차량의 사전 캐싱량을 활용하는 방안을 제안한다. 1차 릴레이 차량의 충분한 요청 차량과의 연결 시간에 비교하여 부족한 사전 캐싱량을 2 차 릴레이 차량들로 보충함으로써 지연시간과 버려지는 패킷을 최소화할 수 있다.

Design and Manufacture of Improved Obstacle-Overcoming type Indoor Moving and Lifting Electric Wheelchair (향상된 장애물 극복형 실내 이·승강 전동휠체어의 설계 및 제작)

  • With an increase in the aging population and a rising social interest in health and welfare, studies to improve healthcare in the elderly are being actively conducted. This study attempted to improve the current design and manufacture of elevating electric wheelchairs to enhance user safety and convenience. Seat design based on the user's body shape, convenience while boarding or alighting, caster turning radius and, safety and stability features that prevent shaking when the user gets up or sits down were improved. A driving experiment was conducted to evaluate the operation of the indoor electric wheelchair designed and manufactured with these additional functionalities. During the test, the performance parameters evaluated were continuous driving time, turning radius, maximum lifting and lowering load, maximum lifting height, noise level, minimum distance sensing by the driving auxiliary sensor, ability to interact with server and app programs, and the duty cycle maximum error rate. The test confirmed that this improved electric wheelchair successfully met target parameters. In a future study, we will evaluate this improved electric wheelchair from a user's perspective for its usability parameters, such as satisfaction, convenience and stability.

Evaluation on the Additional CO2 by Mobile Air Conditioning Systems of Korean Light-duty Vehicles (국내 소형자동차의 에어컨 가동에 따른 CO2 배출량 평가)

  • Mobile air conditioning(MAC) systems of light-duty vehicles consume the most energy among auxiliary parts. Vehicle $CO_2$ reduction policies in Korea, US EPA and EU include the strategies to reduce additional $CO_2$ by MAC operation with providing incentive for the high-efficient MAC technologies. It is under development how to estimate MAC $CO_2$ and to differentiate advanced or high-efficient MAC system in US EPA and EU. The additional energy by MAC operation would beaffected by not only driving patterns but also environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity. In this study, we estimated MAC $CO_2$ of Korean light-duty vehicles with various driving cycles and environmental conditions. Test results were corrected to reference conditions for varied temperature and humidity during tests to get the comparable data for test vehicles. The test results showed that high-efficient MAC technologies have potential to reduce MAC $CO_2$ approximately by 50%. Considering the rate of MAC $CO_2$ to vehicle $CO_2$, it is expected that the introduction of high-efficient MAC technologies would considerably reduce vehicle $CO_2$ emission in MAC operation.

  • Future automobiles are evolving into movable living spaces capable of eco-friendly autonomous driving. The role of electrically processing, controlling, and commanding various information in the vehicle is essential. It is expected that the automotive semiconductor will play a key role in the future automobile such as self-driving and eco-friendly automobile. In order to foster the automotive semiconductor industry, it is necessary to grasp technology trends and to acquire technology and quality that reflects the requirements in advance, thereby achieving technological innovation with industrial competitiveness. However, there is a lack of systematic analysis of technology trends to date. In this study, we analyzed the technology trends of automotive semiconductors using patent analysis and topic model, and confirmed technologies such as electric cars, driving assistance, and digital manufacturing. The technology trends showed that element technology and technical characteristics change according to technology convergence, market needs, and government regulations. Through this research, it is expected that it will help to make R&D policy for automotive semiconductor industry and to make decision for industrial technology strategy establishment. In addition, it is expected that it will be used effectively in detail research direction and patent strategy establishment by providing detailed classification of technology and trend analysis result of technology.

Correlation analysis of pollutants using IoT technology in LID facilities (LID 시설 내 IoT 기술을 활용한 오염물질 상관성 분석)

  • 도시지역 비점오염원관리, 물순환 회복, 침투 및 증발산량 증가, 열섬현상 저감을 위한 주요한 방안으로 저영향개발(low impact development, LID)과 그린인프라 기법의 적용되고 있다. LID 시설은 소규모 분산형 시설로써 넓은 지역에 많고 다양한 시설들이 적용되어 시설의 개수가 많으며, 수질 및 토양 내 기성제품에 대한 센서들의 가격은 고가로 형성되어 있어 기기의 경제성 및 유지관리 등 적용하는데 제한적이다. 따라서 과거 모니터링 자료를 기반으로 오염물질들과의 상관성 분석을 통하여 계측이 어려운 항목들을 계측가능한 항목들로부터 예측 가능하며, 선정된 항목들에 대한 비용효율적인 센서를 개발하여 실시간 LID 모니터링이 가능한 비용효율적 모니터링을 개발하였다. 공주대학교 천안캠퍼스의 LID 시설들은 2013년에 조성되어 현재까지 시설이 운영되고 있으며, 5년이상의 과거 강우시 모니터링 자료들을 이용하여 오염물질 상관성 분석을 수행가능 하기에 대상지로 선정하였다. 오염물질 상관성 분석은 2013년부터 2017년도에 침투도랑에서 수행된 강우시 모니터링 자료를 활용하여 각 오염물질들의 상관성을 분석을 수행하였다. 침투도랑 내 유입되는 평균 유입수는 TSS 286.1±318.3 mg/L, BOD 22.6±39.5 mg/L, TN 8.96±5.85 mg/L, TP 1.01±1.11 mg/L로 나타났다. 겨울철에 비해 여름철에서의 오염물질의 유입농도가 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 이는 여름철 고온건조로 인한 노면 내 차량의 주행으로 인한 중금속, 폐타이어 등과 장마철 강우 시 유출된 토사로 인하여 유입수의 농도가 높은 것으로 분석되었다. 오염물질 부하량은 TSS와 COD 0.66으로 유의성이 높은 것으로 나왔으며, COD와 TSS, TP, TN 등 유의성이 높은 것으로 분석되었다. Arduino와 Raspberry PI를 활용하여 저비용 센서와 LTE 모뎀통신과 데이터 베이스 연결하여 개발된 프로그램을 통해서 무선으로 LID 시설에 대한 모니터링을 침투화분2와 식생체류지에 조성하였다. 전력공급이 어려운 식생체류지의 경우 태양열(Solar system) 시스템과 보조 전력 배터리를 조성하여 장마철이나 장기적인 악천후로 인한 전력을 생산하지 못할 경우 보조전력배터리에서 전력을 제공하여 지속적인 모니터링이 이루어지도록 설계하였다. 토양함수량, 토양온도와 Conductivity 등 3종류의 센서를 적용하였으며, 프로그램은 현재 2단계를 통한 2차수정을 통하여 프로그램을 구축하였다. 오차, 오작동, 계측값에 대한 검·보정 작업이 필요하다. 또한 대기자료의 구축을 통해 보다 토양과 LID 시설에 대한 영향분석이 필요한 것으로 사료된다.

  • In the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) of smart vehicle and Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) for to detect the boundary of lane is being studied a lot of Hough Transform. This method detects correctly recognition the lane. But recognition rate can fall due to detecting straight lines outside of the lane. In order to solve this problems, this paper proposed an algorithm to recognize the lane boundaries and the accumulator cells in Hough space. Based on proposed algorithm, we develop application for Android was developed by H/W verification. Users of smart phone devices could use lane detection and lane departure warning systems for driver's safety whenever and wherever. Software verification using the OpenCV showed efficiency recognition correct rate of 93.8% and hardware real-time verification for an application development in the Android phone showed recognition correct rate of 70%.

Development of Body-Weight-Support System for Walking Rehabilitation (보행 재활을 위한 신체 자중 보상용 모바일 로봇에 관한 연구)

  • As the population of elderly people and disabled people are increased, various demands for human welfare using robot system are raised. Especially autonomous rehabilitation system using robot could reduce the human effort while maintaining the its intrinsic efficacy. This study deals with mobile gait rehabilitation system which combined with BWS (Body Weight Support) for training of elderly and handicapped people who suffer the muscle force weakness of lower extremity. BWS which is designed by kinematic analysis of body lifting characteristics and walking guide system are integrated with main control system and wheeled platform. This mobile platform is operated by UCS (User Command System) and autonomous trajectory planning algorithm. Finally, through the EMG (Electromyography) signal measuring and its analysis for subject, performance and feasibility of developed system is verified.
