In this study, A DDC online system was developed which provides subject access and browsing function for class numbers or subject terms. A knowledgebase of the DDC Schedules and Relative Index was designed for this purpose using IBM-PC. From the DDC 20th edition, subjects from 004 to 006, covering‘data processing’,‘computer science’‘programming and progrms’, and etc., were selected for this experiment. DDC schedules are represented as a frame structure which is apt to describe hierachical structures. This experiment, joining the DDC to the information retrieval environment of an online catalog, will contribute to the future of the online DDC system by providing possiblities for search strategies not feasible through the alphabetical approach of subject headings and keywords presently supported by online catalogs.

This study is to analyze the effects of geography class using taboo games on developing student's ability to think. After playing taboo games in which students explain keyword without using presented taboo words, worksheets of participants were analyzed with interviews to demonstrate what kind of thinking skills are working. The results of the analyses are as follows. First, while divergent thinking is applied to students who explain keyword in taboo games, convergent thinking is applied to students who listen to and guess them. Second, as groups play a role as explainer or answerer in turn, they can learn divergent and convergent thinking together. Third, students seem to improve high-order thinking ability like decision-making, critical thinking, metacogniton through taboo games. Fourth, students have a tendency to use a variety of direct and/or indirect experiences (especially, from media) as well as cross curricular knowledge in order to explain keyword without using taboo words.

Pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) has been regarded as an indication of science teachers' professionalism. The purpose of this study was to analyze topic-specific PCK of pre-service and in-service science teachers, comparatively. For this purpose, we developed an analytic framework for explicitly documenting science teacher' PCK and applied the framework for analyzing the difference within the same topic and with two different topics. Findings are as follows: (1) With the same topic, there was considerable difference between pre-service and in-service teachers in the components of PCK, not to mention individual difference. (2) In case of two different topics, we did not recognize a tendency of change in PCK, but remarkable differences in PCK were identified between two different topics. This study affirmed the topic specificity of PCK, and discussed a possibility of employing PCK analytic framework and its profile as one of the tools that could be used to develop and assess teachers' professionalism.

The concept based retrieval model has shown a higher performance than those of the simple matching function method or the P-norm retrieval method introduced to compensate the demerits of the Boolean retrieval model. However. it takes too long to create a semantic-net knowledge base, which is essential in concept exploration. In order to solve such demerits. a method was sought out by creating a distributed knowledge base by subjects to reduce construction time without hindering the performance of retrieval.

Knowledge information resources produced by policy research institutes were categorized into knowledge information resources derived from research processes, knowledge information resources derived from research results, and knowledge information resources processed from research results, respectively. The names of these knowledge information resources and the metadata items were investigated on 13 policy research institute websites. In addition, the study examined the provision status of 8 Knowledge information resources specialized by type on the websites and confirmed that they work as knowledge resource management systems for each corresponding area. The results of the study suggest constructing a collective search system for research results based on the same research topics, developing a knowledge map of policy information, compressing reports for policy makers, building subject expert databases, producing video reports, developing metadata standards, and creating statistical databases and indicators by subject areas.

다양한 문제의 해결을 위하여 요구되는 각종 지식의 처리는 인공 지능 분야의 중요한 주제가 되어 왔다. 본 논문에서는 여러 종류의 지식중에서 많이 연구되어 있지 않은 삽화 지식의 획득과 저장에 관하여 논의하며, 삽화 지식은 플랜 인지의 과정을 통해 알아낸 목표의 연속체로서 자동 에이전트의 영구 기억에 저장되어야 한다고 제안한다.

This study investigates author cocitation and author transition analysis which are two techniques to be used to construct author and concept networks by using a test collection of 4, 598 documents on the subject of chemistry. The author and concept networks can be used to understand the structual Knowledge of terms as well as intellectual structure of science. So, these networks could be basic data of knowledge base for subject literature.

인터넷은 공동작업과 지식정보 공유를 보다 쉽고 효율적으로 하기 위해 시간과 공간을 초월하는 동적인 협업시스템이 필요하게 되었다. 새로운 형태의 지식공유 시스템인 위키(WIKI)는 연구원간의 자유스러운 정보교환을 보장하는 협업공간을 제공함으로써 지식정보의 생산성과 효율성을 극대화시킨다. 하지만 정보량이 방대해짐에 따라 공동의 주제를 가진 문서들이 중복되어 생성됨으로써 주제의 분산이 이루어져 정보공유의 힘을 약화시키는 문제점을 야기시킨다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하기위해 파서(parser), 문서 분류시스템, 유사성 측정시스템으로 구성된 협업문서 생성제어 시스템을 제안한다.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the trends of domestic research on teacher knowledge in mathematics in terms of its conceptualizations of teacher knowledge, topics, methods, subjects, and content domains. For this purpose, the papers published in 9 professional journals during the recent 14 years (1999-2012) were analyzed by 5 criteria. The results of this study showed that the concept of PCK was the most frequent, whereas its subcategories appeared in different forms. The most frequent research topic was survey of teacher knowledge. The qualitative research methodology was more frequently used than the quantitative methodology, whereas mixed one was hardly used. The subjects for research included a little more elementary school teachers than secondary counterparts, but did similarly both pre-service and in-service teachers. Whereas both the research on number and operations in elementary mathematics education and the research on function in secondary were active, the rest of content domains were not. On the basis of these results, this paper provides several implications for future research direction in teacher knowledge in mathematics.
