미국달걀위원회에서 편찬한 책으로 '달걀교육의 백과사전과정'이라고도 불린다. 이 책을 다시 설명하면 달걀지식을 폭넓게 다루었고 이와 관련된 모든 분야의 정보를 수록하였으며 각 주제별 알파벳순으로 정리되었다. 또한 달걀에 관련된 주제에 대해 정의와 설명을 붙였으며 이의 이해를 돕기위해 도해, 도표, 그래프 등을 적절히 사용한 소책자라고 할 수 있다.

Analyzing research paper published from 2005 to 2010, this study aims for analysing the research paradigm on multi-culture and understanding the structural characteristics of the multicultural knowledge via scientometric. Co-word network constructed by keywords in documents and their co-occurrence relationships is a kind of mapping knowledge structure. A total of 4,521 and 1,373 papers published between 2005 and 2010 were retrieved from the KRF Registered Journals and Proposed Journals. This paper employs k-core analysis method in the field of mapping knowledge structure to analyze keyword co-occurrence network of multicultural research in Korea. And Netminer 3 is employed to visualize the networks in this paper.

IS/IT 분야 신입사원에게 필요한 지식/능력과 소프트웨어 전문 기술에 대하여 인사채용 담당자와 IS/IT 관련 학과 전공교수간의 인식차를 조사하였다. 조사 결과 IS/IT 지식/기술 영역에서는 개인적인 능력에 속하는 ‘동기부여’, ‘창조직 사고’, ‘비판적 사고’ 등에 두 그룹 모두 높은 점수를 주고 있는 등 두 그룹간에 큰 차이를 보이지 않았다. 그러나 IS/IT 소프트웨어 기술 영역에서는 전공 교수는 객체지향 언어, 모델링 언어 등 현재 많은 이슈가 되고 있는 주제에 중요도를 높게 두는 반면, 인사채용 담당자는 대부분 중간값 근처로 응답하여 특별히 중요시 여기는 주제가 드러나지 않았다. 따라서 인사채용 담당자의 경우 변화의 필요는 느끼지만 아직 구체적으로 어떤 분야에 어떻게 대웅을 해야 하는지에 대해서는 명확히 하고 있지 못한 것으로 나타났다.

This paper consists of two parts: In the first part, we describe our work to build hierarchical knowledge base of digital library patron's research interests and learning topics in various scholarly areas through analyzing well classified Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETDs) of NDLTD Union catalog. Journal articles from ACM Transactions and conference web sites of computing areas also are added in the analysis to specialize computing fields. This hierarchical knowledge base would be a useful tool for many social computing and information service applications, such as personalization, recommender system, text mining, technology opportunity mining, information visualization, and so on. In the second part, we compare four grouping algorithms to select best one for our data mining researches by testing each one with the hierarchical knowledge base we described in the first part. From these two studies, we intent to show traditional verification methods for social community miming researches, based on interviewing and answering questionnaires, which are expensive, slow, and privacy threatening, can be replaced with systematic, consistent, fast, and privacy protecting methods by using our suggested hierarchical knowledge base.

The goal of this research is to develop a method of identifying a topic of a given text by looking at relationship of keywords defined in an ontology hierarchy. The keywords which are extracted from important sentences of the given text are mapped onto their correspond concepts which exist in the hierarchy. After all the words are mapped, the correspond concepts will be generalized into one single concept. The single concept will most likely be the topic of text. Our research have an approach that promotes both satisfaction in term of robustness and accuracy using ontologies and word frequency. So, this attempts are done in what they call as a hybrid approach. We try to take the challenge by using knowledge-statistical base approach. Experimental results show that proposed method outperforms the existing method using knowledge-base only.

본 장의 주제인 재조합 유전자의 발현 증대를 위하여는 우리가 알고 있는 대부분의 생명현상에 대한 지식들이 응용될수 있을 것으로 일단 믿어진다. 그러나 그 지식들은 하나의 장으로 모아지기에는 너무나 방대하며 또한 그 각각의 지식들을 어떻게 서로 조화시켜 유전자 발현증대를 꾀할 것이냐 하는 것은 상당한 노력이 더 필요할 것이다. 여기에서는 이미 그 응용이 가능하였던 내용들을 기초로하여 유전자 발현조절에 대하여 알고 있는 지식들을 어떻게 재조합 유전자 실험에 응용하여 그 발현증대를 시도할 수 있겠는가에 대하여 기술해 보고자 한다.

이 연구는 계층적 분류체계를 기반으로 자동분류를 수행할 HiCat 알고리즘을 제안한다. HiCat 알고리즘은 DDC 지식베이스의 주제어와 기계학습을 거친 정보를 동시에 이용하고, 각 계층별로 주제적합성가중치를 구해 최종 주제범주를 결정한다. 이 알고리즘이 최적의 성능을 보이는 조건을 알아보고, 일반 분류기와의 성능 비교를 통해 HiCat 알고리즘을 평가해 보았다.

The purpose of this study is to derive educational meaning by analyzing 5-year-olds' activities process in soil-themed activities about 'soil' theme which was investigated by examination and teachers' reflective journals. For this, data of 20 children in 5-year-old class were collected and analyzed. As a result, firstly the value of children's pre-concept evaluation on soil theme was identified. Secondly, 'soil' theme was found to have a positive influence on children's feeling of wonder about nature and their ecological perspective taking ability. Thirdly, children could comprehensively investigate science education fields such as biology, ecology, and earth science in the process of investigating soil theme. Fourth, children came into interest in the process of understanding the relationship between soil and human through media. Lastly, children were found to compose scientific knowledge while investigating soil, through naturally using the method of inference.
