  • Holland et al.(1986)propose four major factors to determine the outcome of the competition among the rules in an artificial intelligence system: match,sterength.specificity and support.They can be used as sriteria for the system to prefer rules in the cognition of objects from the given environment.The purpose of this paper is to explicate especially the concept of strength with that of likelihood in statistics.The stregth concept itself and the way of the application will be understood more fully by the likelihood concept.A concept is the more fruiful the more it can be brought into connection with otherconcepts.

  • 백과사전 질의응답 시스템은 사용자의 자연어 질문과 검색 대상 문서인 백과사전 내용의 의미를 파악하기 위한 고정밀 자연어 처리 기술이 요구된다. 이러한 고정밀 자연어 처리 기술을 위한 중요한 언어자원을 제공하기 위하여 한국어 명사와 동사로 구성되는 대규모 어휘개념망을 구축하였다. 한국어 어휘개념망은 명사와 동사의 상하위 관계를 주요 계층구조로 하여 다양한 한국어 어휘 기초 자료를 바탕으로 구축되었다. 구축된 규모는 일반명사 약 6만 어휘와 동사 약 2만 어휘를 포함한다. 이 논문에서는 어휘개념망을 구축하기 위한 방법과 과정을 소개하고 지금까지 구축된 어휘개념망의 특성에 대해 기술하며, 백과사전 질의응답 시스템에서 어떻게 활용되는지 시스템 구성요소의 예를 들어서 설명한다. 또한 현재 구축된 어휘개념망의 성능 평가를 위해 일반 코퍼스에 대한 커버리지 측정 결과를 기술한다.

  • In order to build a conceptual design program for a liquid rocket engine system, performance based sub-programs for each core component of the engine system were made. Parts included were the combustion chamber, supersonic nozzle, centrifugal pump, and impulsive turbine. Simple mathematical models based on classical thermodynamic and inviscid theories were adopted with proper tuning by empirical data. In Part I, aiming to validate each sub-program, we examined the results of each program qualitatively, and parametrically investigated the sensitivity due to the change in design parameters.

A review of research on biomedical ethics of nursing college students (간호대학생의 생명의료윤리에 관한 문헌연구)

  • This study attempted to review the research on biomedical ethics of nursing students published in Korea. Keywords included 'nursing students', and 'biomedical ethics', and a total of 26 studies were collected via databases such as KISS, NDSL, RISS. The biomedical ethics awareness was the main concept of biomedical ethics, consisted of right to life of fetus, artificial insemination, organ transplantation, and so on. There were differences in biomedical ethics awareness by ethical education experience, grade, clinical practice experience, and ethical education willingness to attend. Also, major keywords analysed with biomedical ethics were withdrawal of life-sustaining treatment, critical thinking, sexual attitude, nursing professionalism, and death perception. Study results can be used to provide basic data for preparing nursing ethics education in the future.

A Study on the International Research Trends in Electronic Records Management: InterPARES 3 and ITrust Achievements (전자기록관리에 대한 국제 연구 동향 분석 - InterPARES 3와 ITrust 성과물을 중심으로 -)

  • This study aims to understand the concept and changes of the records management of InterPARES based on the analysis of background, main research interests, and major achievements of IP3 and ITrust. To this end, this study conducted a content analysis of IP3 and ITrust to drive main keywords. This study also utilized word clouds from IP project titles. In addition, a comparative analysis of IP3 and ITrust was conducted based on the environment, scope, core research areas, keywords, objectives, and record management life cycle perspectives. The research identified that InterPARES research was widely expanding the content and subject areas of the study: 1) to apply across the life cycle, as well as long-term preservation; 2) to focus on the concept of trust as well as the concept of authenticity; and 3) to include the concept of the Internet, digital forensics, and the open government along with electronic records.

Configuration and Performance Analyses for Conceptual Design of Small and Mid-Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (중소형 무인항공기 개념설계를 위한 형상 및 성능 분석)

  • The simplified performance analysis and initial configuration design are required for the successful development of UAV during the conceptual design, in which empirical formulas and trend equations are utilized for the UAV performance analysis. In the conceptual design phase various UAV configurations may be considered, however, it is very inefficient and unnecessary to consider all configurations for the conceptual design. In this study, the database for the fixed wing UAVs whose MTOW is between 50kg and 1,500kg was also constructed for the selection of configuration frequently used. The parametric analyses were performed for major performance parameters, and trend equations were developed through regression analyses for these individual performance parameters.
