An Analysis Study on Collaborative AI for the Jewelry Business (주얼리 비즈니스를 위한 협업형 AI의 분석 연구)

  • With the emergence of generative AI, a new era of coexistence with humanity has begun. The vast data-driven learning capabilities of AI are being utilized in various industries to achieve a level of productivity distinct from human learning. However, AI also manifests societal phenomena such as technophobia. This study aims to analyze collaborative AI models based on an understanding of AI and identify areas within the jewelry industry where these models can be applied. The utilization of collaborative AI models can lead to the acceleration of idea development, enhancement of design capabilities, increased productivity, and the internalization of multimodal functions. Ultimately, AI should be used as a collaborative tool from a utilitarian perspective, which requires a proactive, human-centric mindset. This research proposes collaborative AI strategies for the jewelry business, hoping to enhance the industry's competitiveness.

  • This study aims to examine the trends in Metaverse technology following the Post-COVID era and analyze the use cases in the jewelry industry. With the endemic, the business environment for companies has shifted from online to offline, leading to a reduced public interest in the Metaverse. However, examining the global jewelry brand trends in metaverse technology reveals advancements in AR/VR technologies that enhance realism and evolve the metaverse into a space without the uncanny gap between virtual and reality. The Metaverse exhibits three main characteristics in the Post-COVID era. First, there is a transformation in the business domain, starting with digital twins. Second, it is integrating with various information and communication technologies. Third, setting a direction for Metaverse operation as an omni-channel is being emphasized. Utilizing assets learned during the COVID-19 period and continuing to learn about digital and online technologies is essential for securing market competitiveness. This paper discusses how to enhance the competitiveness of jewelry industry entities based on the trends of Metaverse technology in the Post-COVID era.

Study on the Rapid Manufacturing for Jewelry Master Patterns (주얼리용 마스터패턴의 쾌속제작에 관한 연구)

  • 주얼리 제품에서 마스터패턴 제작비는 최종제품의 20% 정도로 전체 주얼리제품 시장에서 매우 큰 비중을 차지한다. 기존 주얼리 제품을 제작하는 일반 공정인 ‘디자인 시안→상세도면 제작→1왁스형 제작→석고 플라스크 제작→은 마스터패턴의 제작→왁스패턴의 대량생산→정밀주조→최종제품’의 복잡한 단계를 ‘CAD 디자인 시안→쾌속조형기 듀라폼 음각몰드 제작→저융점 합금으로 마스터패턴 제작→정밀주조→최종제품’의 공정으로 단순화하면서도 대폭시간을 단축할 수 있는 신공정을 제안하였다. 주요공정인 selective laster sintering (SLS)형 쾌속조형기(rapid prototype: RP)를 이용해서 분해온도가 190℃인 듀라폼 분말로 미리 3D CAD로 설계한 직경 20mm의 구, 링 요소를 각각 상하형의 합체형 몰드와 일체형 몰드로 제작하였다. 제작된 몰드에 융점이 70℃인 Pb-Sn-Bi-Cd 저융점 합금을 주입하여 마스터패턴을 제조하였다. 완성된 마스터패턴은 목표형상에 비해 치수 변형율이 2% 이내로 우수하고 주입공정 및 후가공공정이 용이하여 주얼리용 마스터패턴으로 응용이 가능하였다.

  • Recently demand for the titanium material has been increasing continuously, and the titanium material is being applied to various fields these days. Especially, in the jewelry filed, the diamond set titanium jewels begin to appear. In this paper, the authors introduce advanced material titanium jewels by various expression techniques and propose the wedding jewel design using titanium material, practical and 'ECO-Steel'.

  • The purpose of this study is to study jewelry designs presented to general consumers who seek new products and diversity. We would like to present a modular jewelry design with a structure and combination method that is distinct from jewelry in a multimodal replacement method that allows various product modules sold in the past to be worn interchangeably. Problems are likely to occur when a number of existing rather small parts are manufactured in a complex combination method, and difficulties may follow when consumers replace decorative parts and lose them in the process of assembling small fixture parts. Therefore, in order to reduce these problems, we try to make it different from jewelry products made with a simple and simple design so that it can be easily replaced and worn without the need for other coupling parts, and produced using the latest 3D printer (Rapid Prototyping). In this study, based on the experience and know-how gained while engaging in field work, it was possible to make a real object and focused on minimizing problems during the production process, and through this, time and economic loss can be reduced. The purpose of the study is to produce improved jewelry products by expressing more sophisticated and differentiated shapes by using 3D programs (CAD).

  • 본 연구에는 해체주의로 일컬어지는 전통적 디자인의 원론적 틀에서 벗어나 보이는 프랭크 게리의 건축작품들의 전반적인 특성을 형태 구성에서 나타나는 형태론적 측면에서 파악하고, 건축물의 형태 디자인 요소와 티파니 주얼리에서 그가 선보였던 게리 에디션을 통해 그의 주얼리 디자인에 반영된 건축디자인의 특성을 파악하고자한다. 자신만의 독특한 건축디자인 특성을 건축 이외의 디자인 분야에 표현한 게리를 통하여, 건축가의 디자인이 건축 이외의 많은 것에 영향을 줄 수 있다는 가능성을 파악할 수 있었다.

A Study on the development of the pattern and the jewelry design utilizing the Gaya relics (가야 유물을 응용한 패턴전개와 주얼리 디자인 개발에 관한 연구)

  • The Gaya Period is the period in which the nations of Gaya had existed in the Gimhae area. The term 'The Period of the Three Nations', which is widely used, is inappropriate because in ancient Korea, Gaya also existed besides Goguryeo, Baekje and Silla. This term should be corrected for the accurate reconstruction of the history of ancient Korea. Of course, the term 'The Gaya Period' cannot replace 'The Period of the Three Nations'. It just means the period in which the nations of Gaya existed. The Gaya Period refers to the period of about 600 years from about the first century, in which several nations of Gaya began to appear in the Gyeongsangnamdo area, through the falls of Daegarak of Kimhae in 532 A.D. and Daegaya of Goryeong in 562. When doing this, there should be no distortion of the original form of the relics. With the application of traditional techniques and excellent relics, it is believed that it helps to create the high added values by putting culture and tourism together with the development of various designs of cultural goods. To suggest possibility of jewelry designs by completing protype from idea scatch.

Effect of Transformational Leadership on Passion, Innovative Behavior and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (변혁적 리더십이 열정, 혁신행동 및 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of transformational leadership on passion, innovative behavior and organizational citizenship behavior in the jewelry companies. The results indicate that transformational leadership makes significant influence on employees' passion in order of intellectual stimulation, individual consideration and charisma. Furthermore, employees' passion also makes significant positive influence on both employee's innovative behavior and organizational citizenship behavior. It is also found that charisma, individual consideration and intellectual stimulation of transformational leadership has indirect impact on innovative behavior and organizational citizenship behavior through the passion. It is expected that the results of this study will make a contribution to the improvement of competitiveness in the jewelry companies by suggesting a new viewpoint regarding how transformational leadership work to motivate employees' passion, innovative behavior and organizational citizenship behavior in the jewelry companies.

  • I do not think that the role of jewel case in modern society is simply to perform the role of storing and storing contents. Depending on the circumstance and environment, it may show some special performance with its contents. In order to obtain such a result, So I came to think about a new type of case design and wanted to find the starting point in the cultural contents which is the mainstream of modern society. I have focused on 'story' of many cultural prototypes. and adopted 'Heungbujeon', a classical literature which can share case and image, and popular recognition. After the design process, I made sample. so the research on the fusion of cultural contents can be both creative and popular. I think it can be another development direction of modern craft.
