Ultraviolet (UV) radiation causes inflammation and matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) over-expression and extra cellular matrix depletion, leading to skin photo-aging such as wrinkle formation, dryness, and sagging. In this study, we demonstrated that pretreatment with the hexane extract of microalgae protects UVB mediated cell damages. The results of clinical study showed that Microalgal Oil treated group reduced wrinkle and improve elasticity. All these results suggest Microalgal Oil may be useful as new photo-aging cosmetics for protection against UV induced activity.

본 논문에서는 한국어 일상대화를 연속적으로 제공하기 위한 서비스 플랫폼을 제안하였다. 본 플랫폼을 통해서 자동으로 일상대화를 수집하고, 정제하고, 학습하여, 사람과 시스템간의 일상대화를 연속적으로 진행할 수 있게 함으로써, 현재 트랜드가 반영된 대화를 실시간으로 수행할 수 있게 되었다.

대화시스템에서 게임설명요청과 같은 주제대화의 경우, 입력문장의 의도를 정확하게 분류하는 것이 대화시스템 성능과 직결되므로 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 개체명 인식 방법과 머신러닝 방법을 결합한 하이브리드 방법을 제안하여, 머신러닝 방법을 단독으로 사용하는 방법보다 주제대화의 의도 분류 성능을 향상시켰다.

기존 언어치료는 언어발달장애 아동과 언어치료사간의 대면 방식으로 이루어지며, 이때 각종 언어치료도구가 사용된다. 본 시스템은 언어발달장애 아동과 로봇 간의 언어치료를 위해서, 센서를 통한 아동 이동 접근 확인, 아동 얼굴 검출, 아동 얼굴 인식, 아동 얼굴 감정 인식, 아동 얼굴 추적, 감정 돌봄 대화 출력, 언어치료 콘텐츠 표시, 음성대화를 통한 언어치료 수행이 어떻게 적용되는지 개념을 설명하고자 한다.

This study aimed to compare bioactivities of Centella asiatica (CA) cultivated in smart farms and fields. Component analysis, cell viability, anti-inflammatory activity, neuroprotection activity, and antioxidant activity were examined with 70% ethanol extracts of CA cultivated in smart farm (SEE) and field (FEE), respectively. Asiaticoside was analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and as a result, SEE had more asiaticoside content than FEE. After treatment of RAW 264.7 cells with SEE and FEE, there was no cytotoxicity within the treated concentrations. SEE and FEE showed nitric oxide (NO), tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α, and interleukin (IL)-6 inhibitory activities in a dose-dependent manner in lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated RAW 264.7 cells. Moreover, SEE inhibited more NO, TNF-α, and IL-6 production levels than FEE. SEE and FEE reversed the H₂O₂-induced SH-SY5Y cell death. Especially, SEE was more effective in changing the H₂O₂-induced SH-SY5Y cell death than FEE. The antioxidant activity was confirmed by various methods such as total phenol content (TPC), 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH), and superoxide dismutase (SOD). As a result, SEE showed the most potent antioxidant activities about TPC, DPPH, and SOD methods. This study suggested that SEE has higher bioactivities such as effect of anti-inflammation, neuroprotection, and antioxidation than FEE.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the stock market performances CAR of reorganized firms and study the disclosure effect of completion of reorganization to examine whether there exists significant economic merit for the institutionalized continuation of unprofitable firms. The main results of this paper can be summarized as follows. First, the average stock market performances for +12 months after the completion of reorganization compared to those for -6 months before the proposal of reorganization show consistently negative returns. Second, to see whether there exist significant differences between the stock market performances of reorganized firms and those of normal firms with similar characteristics, CAR's measured from -6 months before the proposal of reorganization to +12 months after the completion of reorganization are statistically tested, which results in significantly negative values starting +5 months after the completion of reorganization. Finally, to see the disclosure effect of the news of completion of reorganization, daily CAR's are measured and tested, which shows positive values only for -20 days and -19 days before the disclosure, and shows negative values for the whole periods up to +20 days after the disclosure. The results of the paper imply consistently that the reorganized firms have no better performances compared to the similar normal firms, and the performances do not improve even after the completion of reorganization, which casts serious doubts upon the current forms of the institutionalized continuation of unprofitable firms.
