Based on the secondary data of the 2018 news media audience conducted by the Korean Press Foundation, this study examines how the credibility of news on web portals and from news media outlets affects the types of web portal usage. The web portal usage was categorized into the two types: paying attention to news edited by the web portals and paying attention to news media outlets. These were named "portal site centered" and "news media outlet centered," respectively. This study found that the credibility of news from the web portals showed positive relationships with both portal site centered and news media outlet centered. The credibility of news from news media outlets had statistically significant relationships with the two types of web portal usage, but it differed depending on the audiences' preferences toward news media outlets. In other words, the credibility of news from news media outlets that are usually preferred or frequently used showed a positive relationship with the portal site centered, but has a negative relationship with the news media outlet centered. On the other hand, the credibility of news from news media outlets that are not preferred or not frequently used had a negative relationship with the portal site centered, but had a positive relationship with the news media outlet centered.

To investigate the structure and the conservation strategy of Taxus cuspidata forest and at Birobong area in Sobeaksan. 24 plots(400$m^2$) set up with random sampling method. Four groups were classified by cluster analysis. High positive correlations was proved between Quercus mongolica and Symplocos chinensis, Rhododendron schlippenbachii and Pinus densiflora, Taxus cuspidata and Acer pseudo-sieboldianum, Prunus padus and Eunonymus macroptera, Acer mono and Styrax obassia, and high negative correlations was proved between Quercus mongolica and Taxus cuspidata, Prunus padus and Eunonymus macroptera, Rhododendron schlippenbachii and Taxus cuspidata, Acer pseudo-sieboldianum, Prunus padus and Eunonymus macroptera. Species diversity(H') of investigated area was calculated 1.3702-2.9119. To conserve Taxus cuspidata forest at Birobong area in Sobeaksan, research and rescription on the declining of Taxus cuspidata. forest was needed and Quercus mongolica, Styrax obassia, Tripterygium regelii and Weigela subsessilis in the Taxus cuspidata forest should be cleared out.

To investigate the structure and the conservation strategy of natural forest at Turobong-Sangwangbong area in Odaesan, 19 plots(10*10m) were set up with random sampling method. Several characteristics - needle injury, rate of fallen needle, stem injury, shoot and twig, apical dominance, tree form- of Abies nephrolepis and Tavus cuspidata were investigated with checklist. Two groups(Taxus cuspidata community and Quercus mongolica-Betula ermanii community) were classified by cluster analysis. High positive correlations were prover between Taxus cuspidata and Tripterygium regelii, Sorbus commixta; Quercus mongolica and Euonymus sieboldianus. High negative correlations were proved between Taxus cuspidata and Abies nephrolepis, Quercus mongolica and Betula ermanii; Abies nephrolepis and Trioterygum regelii. Species diversity(H') of investigated area was 0.9608-1.24990. Mean score of Abies nephrolepis was calculated at 6.1 point and ratio of dead individuals was 10.9%. Mean score of Taxus cuspidata was calculated at 17.3 point. Injury of Taxus cuspieata was classified three types, such as branch dieback, wound cavity on the stem and crooked stem.

In this study, the community structures of the ectomycorrhizal (ECM) fungi in the roots of Abies koreana and Taxus cuspidata were investigated at different altitudes of Mt. Halla. We identified the collected ECM root tips based on morphological characteristics and phylogenetic analysis through sequencing of the rDNA ITS regions. From the roots of A. koreana and T. cuspidata, 11 species and 12 species were identified, respectively. The Shannon's index and species evenness and abundance of the ECM fungi were higher in the higher than lower regions, regardless of host plant species, however, the number of ECM root tips showed the opposite pattern. The community similarity among the ECM fungi in A. koreana was significantly higher than that among the ECM fungi in T. cuspidata or than that between A. koreana and T. cuspidata (p < 0.05). These results could be useful for the conservation and management of the habitat of A. koreana, which is threatened with extinction due to increasing ambient air temperature.

This study explores the factor which effects user's viewing on online in the situation of increasing viewing via OTT. After analyzing how the amount of news coverage and viewing rate affects user's active viewing, higher the number of views, In case of groundwave programs, if number of news coverage is high, hits of view and the number of comments is also high. While viewing rate, the number of views, the number of comments are independent of each other. In case of TV channels of comprehensive programming and cable TV, there is a interaction effect of viewing rate and the amount of news coverage. This study highlights the importance of the amount of news coverage when viewers is watching video on web.

An autonomous virtual character can conduct itself like a human after recognizing and interpreting the virtual environment. Artificial vision is mainly used in the recognition of the environment for a virtual character. The present artificial vision that has been developed takes all the information at once from everything that comes into view. However, this can reduce the efficiency and reality of the system by saving too much information at once, and it also causes problems because the speed slows down in the dynamic environment of the game. Therefore, to construct a vision system similar to that of humans, a visual observation system which saves only the required information is needed. For that reason, this research focuses on the descriptive artificial intelligence engine which detects the most important information visually recognized by the character in the virtual world and saves it into the memory by degrees. In addition, a visual system is constructed in accordance with an image transaction theory to make it sense and recognize human feelings. This system finds the attention area of moving objects quickly and effectively through the experiment of the virtual environment with three dynamic dimensions. Also the experiment enhanced processing speed more than 1.6 times.

Recently, in the field of mathematics education, mathematical noticing has been considered as an important element of teacher expertise. The meaning of mathematical noticing is the ability of teachers to notice and interpret significant events among various events that occur in mathematics class. This study attempts to analyze the differences of pre-service secondary teachers' mathematical noticing and confirm the factors that cause the differences between them. To accomplish this, the items on class critiques were established to identify pre-service secondary school teachers' mathematical noticing, and each of 18 pre-service secondary mathematics teachers were required to write a class critique by watching a video in which their micro-teaching was recorded. It was that the teachers' mathematical noticing can be identified by analyzing their critiques in three dimensions such as actor, topic, and stance. As a result, there were differences in mathematical noticing between pre-service secondary mathematical teachers in terms of topic and stance dimensions. The result suggests that teachers' mathematicl noticing can be differentiated by subject matter knowledge, pedagogical content knowledge, curricular knowledge, beliefs, experiences, goals, and practical knowledge.

This study was carried out for the purpose of supplying the basic data for artificial forestation, natural regeneration and ecological conservation etc., and obtaining information on alpine vegetation, by establishing vegetation units on the basis of phytosociological classification of community and studying growth pattern on the basis of species composition, hierarchy structure and population dynamics, for Taxes cuspidata naturally growing at the alpine districts in Korea. The importance value of Taxus cuspidata by districts mostly showed above 100 in the upper story but at Mt. Chiri and Mt. Hanra communities its value was comparatively low. In the middle story it showed lower value than that of upper story and not quite showed at Mt. Chiri. Taxus cuspidata communities in the lower story were only in Mt. Hanra, Mt. Odae and Mt. Sobaek, and their importance values were about 10 which were relatively low values. The communities were classified into five groups as Taxus cuspidata-Males baccata var. mandshurica, Taxus cuspidata-Abies nephrolepis, Taxus cuspidata-Abies koreana, Taxus cuspidata-Acer mono and Taxus cuspidata-Euonymus quelpaertensis by TWINSPAN analysis. Taxus cuspidata-Abies koreana community was distributed at the northern aspect of the mountain ridges and at higher elevation than other communities and distributed. Taxus cuspidata-Acer mono community was relatively low than the others and distributed at the hillsides of mountain. And Taxus cuspidata-Euonymus quelpaertensis communities were distributed at the relatively high elevation and northern and eastern aspect of the mountain tap, and Taxus cuspidata-Malus baccata var. mandshurica communities were distributed at the medium elevation, and southern and eastern aspect of the mountain ridge. In the relation between communities and environmental factors, it was correlated with aspect, elevation and topography at the first axis, and elevation, slope at the second axis.

첨단산업분야에서 광기술의 위상이 높아지면서 '광학'에 대한 교육, 연구, 기술개발 등을 주목적으로 하는 대학의 특성화 학과들이 전국에 11개에 달하는 가운데 그중 공주대학교 영상광정보공학부(광공학전공)가 주목받고 있다. 광학분야 취업률 100% 달성, 올해 치러진 광학기사 시험에서 전체 응시자중 35.3%에 달하는 12명의 합격자를 배출했다는 점만 보더라도 차별성을 쉽게 찾을 수 있다. 이번호에서는 광학전문가들의 산실로 떠오르고 있는 공주대학교 기하공학연구실을 찾아 이준호 교수로부터 최근의 연구 활동 및 교육 방향에 관해 들어보았다.
