원유 체화의 근본대책

  • 근간의 원유수급 불균형에 따른 재고 분유의 체화현상은 자못 심각한 바가 있다. 이는 단기적인 우유소비 확대책 만으로는 주기적으로 닥칠것으로 예상되는 우유파동을 해소하기 곤란하다고 판단되므로 여기서는 과거의 우유 소비증가 추세와 우유체화의 주기를 검토한후 장단기 대책으로 구분하여 검토해 보기로 한다.

Cyclic Igneous Activities During the Late Paleozoic to Early Cenozoic Period Over the Korean Peninsula (고생대말-신생대초 기간에 일어난 한반도의 주기적 화성활동)

  • There were three cycles of igneous activities from the late Paleozoic to early Cenozoic; Permian to Triassic, Jurassic, and Cretaceous to Paleogene. After the beginning of each igneous activity cycle, igneous activity became more frequent until its climax. It is noteworthy that A-type magmatisms are reported from near the ends of the all three igneous activity cycles. In addition, adakitic magmatisms occurred at the beginning of both the Permian-Triassic and the Cretaceous-Paleogene cycles. Most of the igneous activities during the late Paleozoic to early Cenozoic period were subduction-related. Therefore, transitions among beginning, proceeding, and closing of the igneous activity cycles would be intimately related with changes in directions of plate movements. In this context, I suggest following hypotheses. The closing of the Permian-Triassic igneous cycle was possibly a consequence of radical adjustment of plate motion occurred due to continental collision between north and south China blocks. Considering that no appreciable tectonic activities were recognized from the east Asian continent at the closing of the Jurassic igneous cycle, it seems that one of the strong events related with Gondwanaland-breakup and subsequent birth of the new oceans, which might cause sudden adjustments of plate motions. The closing of the Cretaceous-Paleogene igneous cycle seems to be caused as a consequence of the collision between India and Asia continents. Meanwhile, adakitic igneous bodies emplaced at the beginnings of the Permian-Triassic and Cretaceous-Paleogene cycles could be products of slab-melting during the early stages of the subduction.

  • Gametogenesis and the reproductive cycle of the marsh clam, Corbicula leana(Prime} were investigated monthly Hyongsan estuary, Korea from January to December 1998 by histological observation. C. leana had separate sexes, and oviparous. The gonads were located between the sub-region of mid-intestinal gland in visceral cavity and reticular cennective tissue. The ovary and testis were composed of a number of ovarian and testicular tubules, respectively, Mature oocytes were characterized by germinal vesicles with nucleoli and their sizes ranged $70\;to\;80{\mu}m$ in diameter. A number of mesenchymal tissues and pigment granular cells were distributed in the growing oocytes and spermatocytes during early developmental stages. With the further development of gonad, these tissuse and cells gradually disappeared. The monthly changes in the fatness index were closely related to reproductive cycle. Minimun size for sexual maturity was reached over 10.0 mm in shell length. The reproductive cycle could be classified into 6 stages : multiplicative (March to April): early growing and growing (May to June), mature (July to August), spent (September), degenerative (October) and recovery (November to February).

  • PMT(Preventive Maintenance Template) is a standardized maintenance program that describes maintenance items & period as operation condition to increase component reliability at the component level. The existing maintenance programs are focused on time based maintenance to inspect and repair component depend on fixed period. But recently, we have developed advanced maintenance program(named PMT) to increase reliability and optimize maintenance program of the plant significant component. This paper presents how to develop the PMT for nuclear power plant's static exciter.

  • In the paper a superior performance algorithm compared to the existing vehicle actuated controller and time fixed controller and the additional controller is described through realization of fuzzy traffic phase controller. Fuzzy theory is encouraging since the application is similar to human's decision ability that is approately coped with uncertain conditions. The paper presents that selection of the phase adequated the variable traffic conditions through the fuzzy theory algorithm and decision of optimal cycle time approated the uncertain traffic volume are predominant in traffic jam solution compared to the existing Webster's cycle time decision method and the sequential traffic phase design method and dual-ring phase operation system.

  • The accuracy of a video image detector(VID) is gradually reduced due to the various environmental and mechanical factors. But there has been no systematic research about this VID accuracy decreasing. To maintain a proper level of VID accuracy for the advanced traffic management. a regular VID calibration process needs to be introduced. Because of its cost, however. the calibration cannot be performed frequently. Therefore, the method to decide the optimal calibration interval should be studied in details. This study presents two different calibration interval decision methods. Using the invented data collection equipment. some data in the field were collected and analyzed. which were used for the adaptability checking. Although the data were limited. the result is pretty promising. More data needs to be investigated later and this study will help to maintain the data quality of the ITS center.

Design and analysis of a mode size converter composed of periodically segmented taper waveguide (주기적으로 분리된 광도파로로 구성된 모드 크기 변환기의 설계 및 분석)

  • In this paper, we designed a mode size converter to reduce coupling loss between optical waveguide and single mode fiber. The proposed mode converter is composed of periodically segmented tapered waveguide to achieve small size and easy fabrication. For the optimally designed mode size converter at 1550nm, the taper length is 500(equation omitted), the segmentation period 5ß:, the waveguide width of fiber contact section 1.3ß:, and duty cycle 0.95. The coupling loss of the optimized mode size converter is 0.33㏈/point, which is 1.27㏈/point lower than that without the mode size converter.

패널자료를 이용한 노년기 거주형태 변화분석

  • 인구고령화의 진전과 함께 노인들의 거주형태에 대한 사회적. 정책적 관심이 증기하고 있으며, 그에 대한 논의와 연구들 또한 많이 늘어나고 있다. 그러나 이들 연구 대부분이 횡단적 자료(단일 시점이든 여러 시점이든)와 분석에 의존함으로써 노인지 거주형태가 생애주기를 따라 변하는 모습을 충분히 보여주지 못하고 있다. 이 연구는 한국노동연구원의 제1차 및 제6차 노동패널자료를 이용해 노년기 거주형태의 유동성을 경험적으로 제시하려는 목적을 가진다. 이들 위해 거주형태의 출현율(prevalence rate)과 전이율(transition rate)을 개념적으로 구분하고 자녀동거여부에 대한 분석을 실시하였다. 두 시점에 대한 횡단폭 분석결과는 노인들의 사회인구학적 특성에 따른 자녀별거경향의 차이를 보여주더라도 생애주기에 따른 역동성을 보여주기에는 한계가 많음이 확인되었다. 두 시점 간의 거주형태 변화에 대한 패널분석에서는 다수 노인들의 거주형태가 주어진 기간 동안 안정적으로 나타났다. 그러나 거주형태의 변화를 경험하는 데에는 연령증가와 배우자 상태변화 등이 중요한 요인임이 확인되었다. 이러한 생애주기적 변화의 효과는 대부분의 계량적 연구에서 유추되는 수준이거나 질적 연구에서만 보고되어 왔던 것이다. 이 연구결과는 노년기 거주형태의 지속성을 보여주는 한편 변화 가능성과 요인을 파악함으로써 노년기 거주형태에 대한 개념적 이해론 공고히 할 것으로 기대된다. 또한 이 연구에서 제시된 방법론적 논의와 접근방식은 생애주기별 변화에 초점을 두고자 하는 다른 연구영역에서도 적용 가능할 것이라 기대된다.
