This essay suggests a constructive interpretation of probabilities by diagnosing problems of the objective and the epistemic interpretations of probability. According to this interpretation, attributions of the mathematical structure of probability to a given system can be understood as positing constructive theoretical hypotheses showing the relationship among empirical data. The constructive interpretation is applied to comprehend probability claims in the explanation of temporal asymmetrical behaviour of our universe. A new approach interpreting probabilities as constructive theoretical terms enables us to circumvent shortcomings of both objective and subjective interpretation of probability, and appreciate why these interpretations nevertheless appear to be convincing in our case.

This study aimed to address the effect of poverty on depression and self-rated health in older adults living alone in Korea. In addition, this study identified the mediating effect of social participation on the poverty-depression and poverty-self-rated health relationships. The researcher conducted a secondary data analysis using the 6th wave of the Korean Longitudinal Study on Aging. The final sample was 1,093 older adults living alone. Using structural equation modeling, standardized coefficients of each path were analyzed. Then, the statistical significance of the mediating effect of social participation was addressed via analyzing direct, indirect, and total effects. Results show that older adults under poverty were more depressed and had a lower level of self-rated health than their counterparts. Moreover, frequent participation in religious gatherings, social gatherings, and leisure activities decreased depression in older adults living alone. Moreover, religious gatherings, social gatherings, and alumni meetings were positively related to self-rated health om older adults living alone. Significant mediating effects appeared in poverty-social gathering-depression, poverty-social gathering-self-rated health, and poverty-alumni meeting-self-rated health relationships. Based on the results, the researcher also discussed implications for social work practice.

현재 우리나라에서 수행되는 전기설계는 체계화가 되어있지 않고 기관, 단체 또는 개개인의 경험에 따라 주관적으로 설계가 되고 있다 따라서 일관성이 없고 에너지 절약에 대한 강제성도 일부에 국한되어 효율적인 에너지 관리가 안 되고 있다. 이와 같은 전기설계체제를 객관화하여 이를 알고리즘화를 통하여 프로그램을 구축하고자 하는 시도가 필요하다. 기존의 전문가의 경험을 바탕으로 한 최적설계절차를 프로그램화하기 위하여 전기관련 기기를 에너지 절약별 등급화하여 등급화별 최적 수변전설비용량을 결정할 수 있는 알고리즘을 개발하고 이를 프로그램 하고자 한다.

This study is an empirical study on the effect of wellness factors on the quality of life and subjective happiness of disabled workers, and aims to contribute to living a healthy life by experiencing wellness in the real life. This study used raw data of the 8th employment panel survey for the disabled, and explored factors such as physical wellness, emotional wellness, social wellness, cognitive wellness, and occupational wellness through exploratory factor analysis. And the wellness factors have a significant effect on the quality of life and subjective happiness of the disabled workers. The results showed that the five wellness factors had a positive (+) effect on the quality of life and subjective happiness of the disabled. Also, the quality of life has a significant effect on subjective happiness. In conclusion, it was confirmed that the quality of life and subjective happiness were improved only when the wellness of the disabled workers was increased. In the future, it is necessary to develop a wellness program suitable for the type of disability and to develop indicators that can be applied to real life situations.

The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of the oral health behaviors and lifestyle of hypertension patients on their perceived periodontal diseases. The data of the 2013 community health survey were used, and the data of 55,632 patients who suffered from hypertension and who were at the ages of 19 and over was analyzed. The analying methods used in this study were chi-square test and multiple logistic regression analysis. Gender, age, marital status, education, economic activity, income level and subscription to private medical insurance were identified as the factors to affect the perceived periodontal disease of the hypertension patients, and lifestyle and oral health behaviors were found to have exerted a significant influence on perceived periodontal disease. As this study found that not only the socioeconomic characteristics of the hypertension patients but their oral health care and lifestyle were all correlated with perceived periodontal disease, how to promote the oral health of those who are susceptible to periodontal diseases should carefully be considered.

The goal of this thesis is to have a subjective and general insight to the working experience of non-regular outpatient nurses working in general hospital to understand them. As for the study subjects, 7 non-regular outpatient nurses working in general hospital with rich working experience were randomly selected, and they were analyzed by Colaizzi's phenomenological qualitative research method which drew out 4 categories and 8 subcategories. As the result, non-regular outpatient nurses, due to its distinct characteristics of employment as contract worker, felt satisfaction in working environment on the surface, but found out there were reversed emotion in feeling dissatisfaction for the compensation or development. The results mentioned above will provide useful data in understanding the essence of working experience of non-regular outpatient nurses, and expect these results will be the supporting grounds to have interests and access to realistic problem that the non-regular outpatient nurses are facing.

This study was conducted to compare the factors affecting quality of life according to the perception of subjective body image in adult women as a secondary study of the 7th 1st year Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey data. The subjects were 3,392 adult women and their general characteristics, physical factors and psychological factors were analyzed. Data were analyzed using the IBM SPSS 25.0 program after generating weighted composite sample plans and the significance level was set at 0.05. Factors influencing the quality of life of subjects who perceived their subjective body image as thin were education level, birth experience, depression, and subjective health and their explanatory power was 43.1%. Factors influencing the quality of life for those who perceived their bodies as moderate were education level, depression, and subjective health, and their explanatory power was 26.5%. Factors that affected quality of life for those who perceive their bodies as obese were age, weight change for one year, weight control for one year, presence of high blood pressure, BMI, and subjective health, and their explanatory power was 40.9%. The results of this study indicate it is necessary consider the factors influencing each subjective perception to improve individual quality of life.

대부분의 사람들은 의식하지 못하지만 세상은 오른손잡이 중심으로 이뤄져 있기 때문에 왼손잡이가 일상적으로 겪는 불편은 상상외로 많다. 우리가 일상에서 많이 사용하는 연장, 주방기구, 사무용품, 가전제품, 가구, 의류, 악기, 의료기기, 스포츠용품, 공공시설 등 이들 대부분이 오른손잡이에게 맞춰져 있어 왼손잡이들은 자신들의 왼팔을 비틀어서 사용하거나 주손이 아닌 오른손으로 부자연스런 자세로 사용할 수밖에 없다. 이에 따라 왼손잡이는 일상생활에 있어서의 상당한 불편을 느낄 뿐만 아니라 작업 능률의 저하, 재해나 상해를 입을 가능성이 높아질 수 있다. 본 연구는 무작위로 선정된 피설문자에 대한 설문 조사를 통하여 손잡이(handedness)와 관련된 통계수치를 제공하고 왼손잡이인 경우 왼손잡이로서 일상생활에서의 불편함, 작업능률의 저하여부, 오른손잡이 전용제품을 사용하여 상해를 입은 경험 등에 대해 조사하였다. 또한 왼손잡이도 편리하게 사용할 수 있으면 하는 제품이나 공공시설 등에 대한 이들의 주관적인 견해에 대해서도 조사하였다. 이를 토대로 왼손잡이를 위한 공구, 주방용품, 문구용품, 스포츠용품, 사무용품 등에 대하여 현재 적용되어 있는 상품에 대한 고찰과 향후 적용 가능 상품 및 공공시설에 대해 제안하였다.

This study aims to define the user experience and to evaluate the usability toward electronic publication for education and research. As research methods, After total 20 people of 10 undergraduate students and 10 graduate students were randomly selected as the subjects, the research was conducted by using the in-depth interview and the e-book reader experimental method. As the results of analysis about subjective preferences in case of using academic resources, The subject relevance and understandability were responded as most important factors for selecting academic resources. And the most frequent purposes for using academic resources were to perform an assignment and to write an article. As the results of analysis about the user experience for using the print media and electronic media, the user experience of the print media is more positive than the electronic media and especially these results were caused by academic situation. Many subjects responded that the electronic media is more inconvenient in case of using academic resources. As a result of the e-book reader usability test, the hardware test score (3.47) is higher than the software test score (3.31).

최근 에어비앤비나 우버와 같은 협력적 소비 기반의 비즈니스모델을 가진 공유경제가 성장하고 있다. 본 논문은 공유경제에 대한 개념을 정의하고, 이용의도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 본 논문은 경제적, 기능적, 경험적, 사회적 가치를 포함한 4가지 지각된 가치와 주관적 규범, 이미지, 사회적 임계점을 구성하는 3가지 사회적 영향이 공유경제 이용의도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고 신뢰와 사회적 규범, 네트워크와 사회구조를 포함한 사회적자본의 조절효과에 관심을 두고 있다. 가설을 검증하고자 온라인과 오프라인에서 설문조사를 실시하였고, 지각된 가치와 사회적 영향이 공유경제 이용의도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 변수별로 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 또한 사회적자본의 조절효과를 알아보기 위하여 위계적인 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 다중회귀분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 지각된 가치 중 경제적, 경험적 가치는 공유경제 이용의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 위계적인 회귀분석의 결과에서 사회적자본은 지각된 가치와 사회적 영향의 공유경제 이용의도 관계에 있어 조절적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 지각된 가치를 통합적 분석, 기존 공유경제 연구에서 자주 다뤄지지 않았던 사회적 영향과 사회적자본의 요인을 다룬 점에 의미가 있지만, 설문조사 결과의 한계가 있었기에 향후 새로운 연구 방향성을 제시할 수 있다.
