Buckling Analysis of Sandwich Plate with Thin Faces (얇은 면재를 갖는 샌드위치 평판의 좌굴강도 해석)

  • This study is concerned with the overall buckling analysis of sandwich plates under biaxial loads by applying the Rayleigh-Ritz method, which are considered to buckle simultaneously in overall from of core and thin faces together. In order to study the effects of boundary conditions on the buckling behaviors, the simply supported, flexed and it's combined boundary conditions are considered as well as the effects of material characteristics of core and thin faces of sandwich plates on the buckling behaviors.

  • 최근 변단면 거더의 경제성을 고려하여 장경간 거더 교량과 강골조 구조물에 변단면보의 사용이 증가하고 있으며, 고강도 강의 등장으로 인해 변단면보의 정확한 좌굴 강도의 평가가 매우 중요시 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존에 연구된 탄성 횡-비틀림 좌굴 강도에 관한 연구를 바탕으로하여 별로 비탄성 구간에 비지지 길이가 존재하는 일축대칭 I형 변단면보의 횡-비틀림 좌굴 강도 해석을 실시하였다. 해석에는 유한요소해석프로그램인 ABAQUS(2007)가 사용되었으며, MINITAB(2006)을 이용하여 간편한 설계식을 제안하고 있다. 일단 계단식 단면을 가지는 보에 대하여 고려하였으며, 플랜지 길이 방향 비, 너비방향 비, 두께의 비로 계단식 I형 보를 나타내었다. 집중 하중을 적용시켰으며 비선형 해석을 위해 잔류응력 및 초기변형과 재료비선형을 고려하였다. 본 연구 결과에서 제안된 식은 향후 다양한 하중이 작용하는 비탄성 횡-비틀림 좌굴 강도에 대한 연구에 많은 도움이 될 것이다.

  • First, three point bending analysis for the inclined press door impact beam was carried out to investigate inclination angle effect on the maximum strength with varying support distance. Next, for the system model with spring elements representing body stiffness at door mounting area, the bending structural behavior of impact beam mounted on vehicle was estimated. The mounting distance and inclination angle were changed and the beam bending buckling strength was presumed at the head displacement below which spring stiffness change has little effect on the load. Finally strength ratio to predict the bending buckling strength of impact beam mounted on vehicle from three point bending maximum strength of fixed support distance was suggested.

  • The efficient beam members for modern greenhouse need to be much lightweight with the required flexural and buckling strength. To confirm the applicability and practicality of the trussed web beam recently proposed for column and beam members of greenhouse, the flexural behavior and buckling characteristics were analyzed by the finite element approach. On the basis of analytical studies, the member design process was presented considering the lateral and local buckling behavior. Also, two improved alternatives which were capable of retaining the lateral and local buckling effectively were suggested.

  • 본 논문에서는 유한요소 프로그램 (ANSYS)을 이용하여 돔격납철판 (dome containment liner plate)의 양중시 좌굴특성의 연구를 수행하였다. 원전 격납철판의 양중시, 양중 와이어(wire)의 구조적인 배치특성상 격납철판에 압축력이 유발되고, 이러한 압축력은 격납철판의 좌굴을 일으킬 수 있다. 다양한 양중인자 (lifting factors)를 고려한 격납철판 유한요소모델을 수립하고, 이러한 양중인자들의 좌굴특성에 미치는 영향을 고찰하였다. 양중 와이어의 체결위치의 높이가 낮을 수록 좌굴강도가 증가하며, 라이너 플레이트 두께에 비례하여 좌굴강도가 증가하였다.

  • Corrugated webs have been used for composite prestressed concrete box girder bridges. Innovative steel plate girders using corrugated webs have been proposed. It has been found that analytical and experimental researches conducted to determine the strength of trapezoidally corrugated webs can fail with respect to three different buckling modes: local, global, and interactive shear buckling. Shear buckling capacity equations based on classical and orthotropic plate buckling theories have been proposed,but these equations show some differences. In this paper, geometric parameters that influence interactive shear buckling behavior with interaction effects are identified via extensive bifurcation buckling analysis using the finite element meth.

Lateral- Torsional Buckling Strength of Monosymmetric Doubly Stepped I-Beam subjected to Pure Bending (순수 휨하중을 받는 일축대칭 양단스텝보의 횡-비틀림 좌굴 강도)

  • This study investigates elastic lateral-torsional buckling(LTB) of monosymmetric doubly stepped I-beams subjected to pure bending based on finite element analysis(FEA). The results from the FEA are used for new design stepped equation, Cst. The equations are compared with the results from the FEA. The comparison indicates that the new equation provides a good relation with the FEA results. The maximum difference between two results is of 11%. The new equation could be easily used to calculate the elastic lateral-torsional buckling moment resistance of monosymmetric stepped I-beams and to expand the new equation for developing LTB equations of monosymmetric stepped beams subjected to general loading conditions such as a concentrated load, distributed load, or a seres of concentrated load.

In-plane buckling strength of fixed parabolic arch (고정지점 포물선 아치의 면내 좌굴강도)

  • If arches are braced by lateral restraints, the ultimate strength of arches is determined by in-plane buckling and plastic bending collapse. This paper is conducted to investigate the in-plane nonlinear elastic and inelastic buckling behavior and the strength of fixed parabolic arches in uniform compresion, as well as to study arch behaviors against non-uniform in-plane compression and bending. As shown by the results, the limit slenderness ratio is suggested to classify the bucklingmode. Buckling strength of fixed parabolic arches under uniform compresion are evaluated using buckling curve for a straight column. Finally, an interaction e quation for arches under combined axial compresion and bending action is proposed.

  • 본 연구에서는 기존에 수행된 균일단면을 가지는 I형 보의 좌굴 강도에 대한 해석적?이론적 연구를 토대로 일축대칭을 이루는 변단면 I형보의 좌굴강도를 산정하고자 범용구조해석프로그램 ABAQUS (2007)를 이용하여 유한요소해석을 실시하였다. 유한요소해석에는 4절점 쉘요소인 S4R이 사용되었고, 플랜지 길이방향 비, 너비방향 비, 두께의 비로 일축대칭 스텝보를 사용하였으며, 균일모멘트를 작용시켰다. 개발된 좌굴강도 제안식은 해석결과와 비교하여 -11%~2%의 오차범위를 나타내었다. 본 연구결과는 다양한 형식의 일축대칭 I형보가 사용되는 빌딩 및 교량 구조물의 경제적이고 합리적인 설계에 활용 될 수 있을 것이다.
