An Architecture Modeling Language for Collaborative Networked Organizations (협업 네트워크 조직의 아키텍처 모델링 언어)

  • Reference modeling for Collaborative Networked Organizations(CNOs) has just started, and Enterprise Architecture Modeling Languages(EAMLs) for CNOs are very few. Lack of reference models makes it difficult for people to communicate with each other and lack of EAMLs also makes it difficult to implement information systems for CNOs. We propose an EAML for CNO called CAML. It supports (1) multi-level modeling based on Model- Driven Architecture of OMG's for expressive power and efficiency of implementations, and (2) multi-focus modeling based on Zachman Framework for completeness of modeling The effectiveness of the CAML is investigated through modeling of a supply chain and execution of change impact analysis.

A Study on the Influence of Servant Leadership and Trust in Leader on Organizational Performance (서번트 리더십이 상사신뢰와 조직성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증적 연구)

  • In this study, an analysis has been conducted as to; (i) what factors affect organizational members trust in leader (ii) how does members trust in leader affect the variable of organizational performance in an organization. In order to attain the objective of this study, a model was established and also the hypothesis was verified on the basis of preceding studies. The findings of this study could be summarized as follows: 1. Servant leadership which is considered as preceding factors affecting trust in leader, were found to have a positive relation with trust in leader. 2. In connection with the role of trust, its mediator effect between its preceding factor and outcome variables was verified. As a result of the analysis, it was verified that servant leadership and trust in leader affected outcome variables not only directly but also indirectly through trust. 3. As a result of analyzing the effect that the trust in leader has on outcome variables, the trust in leader was found to have a positively significant effect on organizational citizenship behavior, organizational commitment and job satisfaction.

Effects of the Long-Term Caregivers' Job Stress on Psychological Burnout and Organizational Effectiveness and the Moderating Role of Social Support (직무스트레스가 조직유효성에 미치는 영향 : 서울소재 재가노인방문요양시설의 요양보호사를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the elderly long-term care workers' job stress on psychological burnout and organizational effectiveness and the moderating role of social support. For this study, data were collected from 290 long-term caregivers from 50 in-home visitation care facilities in Seoul using structured questionnaires. Collected data were analyzed using hierarchical regression techniques. Results showed that role three job stress variables had positive effects on caregivers' psychological burnout; that two job stress variables(role ambiguity and role conflict) and psycholigcal burnout had negaive effects on caregivers' job satisfaction whereas they had positive effects on caregivers' intent to leave; that workload negatively impacted caregivers' job satisfaction but no effect on their intent to leave; and that two social support variables played moderating roles in the relationship between job stress and psychological burnout and the relationship between job stress and organizational effectiveness.

  • 조직에는 조직의 목적을 효율적으로 달성할 수 있도록 조직구성원들을 움직이게 하는 리더가 존재하게 된다. 조직 내에 달성해야 할 비전과 목표가 있고 그것을 수행해야 할 과업에 있어서 가장 필요한 것은 구성원들의 비전과 목표를 달성하기 위한 리더십이 중요한 요인이다. 리더십은 비전과 목표달성을 위해 다른 사람들의 행동에 영향을 미치는 과정이기 때문이다. 따라서 모든 유형의 집단이나 조직, 그리고 지역사회나 국가에는 효과적인 리더십이 필요하고 그 같은 효과적인 리더십을 발휘할 유능한 리더가 요구된다. 따라서 리더십은 모든 집단이나 조직의 중요한 자산이며 성공요인이 아닐 수 없다. 특히 중소기업의 경우 기업경영전반에 걸쳐 경영자의 기호나 의도에 따라 수시로 변하는 경우가 많고, 최고 경영자의 개인적 속성이 조직구조나 전략에 적지 않은 영향을 미치기 때문에 최고경영자의 리더십이 중소기업의 조직문화 형성에 대기업보다 훨씬 많은 영향을 미치고 있다. 변혁적 리더십은 사장이 카리스마, 지적자극, 개별적 배려 등을 통해 종업원들에게 기대를 능가하는 최고의 노력을 발휘하도록 동기부여 시키는 것이다. 변혁적 리더십을 발휘하는 사장은 종업원들의 욕구수준을 높여 주고 자신감을 심어줌으로써 성공에 대한 확신을 높여준다면 종업원들로 하여금 조직에 대한 몰입을 이끌어 낼 수 있고, 보통이상의 추가노력과 낮은 이직의도를 거둘 수 있다는 것이다. 따라서 본 연구는 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 연구와 관련된 선행연구자들을 분석하고, 이를 토대로 연구모형을 설계하여 중소제조업체의 CEO들에게 요구하는 리더십모형을 제시하였다. 중소기업의 리더십 유형을 카리스마적, 전략적, 거래적, 변혁적 이론 등을 기본으로 하여 기업에 어떠한 영향을 주는지를 이론을 통해 제시하였다. 이러한 리더십 유형들이 기업의 목표에 영향을 주는지를 분석한 후 여기에서 중소기업의 CEO에게 필요로 하는 리더십 유형을 제시하였다.

The Effectiveness of Authentic Leadership on Public and Private Organizations (진성리더십의 효과성 분석: 공공조직과 사조직에 미치는 영향을 중심으로)

  • In recent years, the authenticity of leaders has become an important issue in leadership research. It is because the sincerity of the leader exerts a great influence on the behavior, attitude and performance of members of the organization. This study examines the effect of authentic leadership on organizational commitment, organizational citizenship behavior and job performance, and empirically analyzes whether the effect varies depending on public organizations and private organizations. The survey administered through a questionnaire was conducted for members of public corporations and private companies in Korea. Of the collected questionnaires, 444 were used in the analysis. Empirical results were verified by factor analysis and regression analysis using SPSS/WIN 23.0 and STATA 14.0. Results show that leadership had a positive effect on organizational commitment, organizational citizenship behavior, and job performance and the effect was significant in both public and private organizations.

The Relationship Between 7S Factors of the Nursing Organizational Culture and Organizational Effectiveness (간호 조직문화 7S 요인과 조직 유효성의 관계)

  • Purpose: The Purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between 7S factors of the nursing organizational culture and organizational effectiveness. Method: The data were gathered from the self-reported questionnaires of 717 nurses who work for eight different general hospitals located around Seoul and Kyounggi province. The period of data collection was from November 12 to December 7, 2002. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, clustering analysis, and t-test with SPSS Program were used. Result: The nurses who highly perceived 7S factors of nursing organizational culture showed higher job satisfaction and organizational commitment in comparison with the nurses who lowly perceived 7S factors of nursing organizational culture. And the nurses who highly perceived 7S factors of nursing organizational culture showed higher organizational citizenship behavior in comparison with the nurses who lowly perceived 7S factors of nursing organizational culture. Among subdimension of organizational citizenship behavior, altruism and civic virtue were significant. Conclusion: From the above results, the high group with 7S factors of nursing organizational culture has strong culture, therefore nursing organization with strong culture is very implicative to enhance the organizational effectiveness.

The Impact of the Followership Style on the Organizational Effectiveness in Nursing Organization (간호조직내의 팔로워십[Followership]이 조직유효성에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: The purposes of the study were to examine whether nurses' followership style influence organizational effectiveness and to test the model of organizational effectiveness including the factors of nursing organizational culture, leadership style, and followership style. Methods: Data were collected from July 10th to september 20th in 2006 from 451 nurses working in four acute care hospitals. Data analysis were performed by Chi-square test, ANOVA, Duncan test, Pearson Correlation, and maximum likelihood estimation, using the SAS and LISREL 8.30 program. Results: The findings showed that the types of nurses' followership were classified as passive (21.1%), alienated (8.2%), conformist (16.4%), pragmatist (35.9%), and effective style (18.4%). There was significant difference in the organizational effectiveness among the nurses with different followership styles. In testing the path model, transformational, transactional leadership directly influenced followership style. Followership directly influenced organizational effectiveness. Conclusion: The overall fitness of the model was good, evidenced by general fitness index (GFI)=.94, adjusted goodness of fitness index (AGFI)=.82, and root mean square residual (RMSEA)=.06. Based on the findings, it is recommended to develop a program for enhancing effective followership in nursing organization.

Relationships among Emotional Labor, Burnout, and Organizational Effectiveness of Employees in Public Health Centers (보건소 종사자의 감정노동과 직무소진이 조직유효성에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose: This study examines the relationship among emotional labor, job burnout and organizational effectiveness of public healthcare center workers. In specific, authors focus on the relationships between emotional labor and job burnout and the one between job burnout and organizational effectiveness and mediating effect of job burnout between emotional labor and organizational effectiveness. Methods: For the empirical analysis, survey was conducted of workers in the public healthcare center, and 502 final data was secured after eliminating the insufficient ones, which were used in the statistical analysis. Results: Emotive effort showed to have a positive effect on organizational effectiveness, however emotive dissonance showed to have a negative effect on organizational effectiveness. Emotive effort showed to reduce the level of all job burnouts while emotive dissonance showed to increase the level of all job burnouts. All job burnout showed to have negative effects on organizational effectiveness. Job burnout showed to have mediating effect between emotional labor and organizational effectiveness. Conclusion: Emotive efforts of emotional labor has positive impact on organizational effectiveness while emotive dissonance has negative impact on organizational effectiveness overall. Therefore, public healthcare center should try to seek for proper way to reduce job burnout of workers, because job burnout functions as mediating element between emotional labor and organizational effectiveness.

The Effect of Resilience by Emotional Intelligence of Hotel Employees in China on Organizational Effectiveness (중국 호텔 종사원의 감성지능에 의한 회복탄력성이 조직유효성에 미치는 영향)

  • The hotel industry in China has shown great growth both in terms of quantity and quality, but management of the most important element of the success of the hotel company is still not enough. The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of emotional intelligence including self emotional appraisal, others' emotional appraisal, regulation of emotion, use of emotion on Chinese hotel employees' resilience to improve job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and to reduce turnover intention. Also, the relationship between job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention was investigated. In order to analyze this, we surveyed 322 employees of Shanghai 4, 5star hotel in China. Empirical analysis showed that self emotional appraisal, regulation of emotion, and use of emotion of Chinese hotel employees had a positive effect on resilience, but others' emotional appraisal did not affect resilience. In addition, the resilience showed a positive effect on job satisfaction and organizational commitment, but not on turnover intention. Also, job satisfaction has a significant negative effect on organizational commitment and turnover intention, and organizational commitment has a significant negative impact on turnover intention. This study aims to provide a better understanding of emotional intelligence and resilience, and to provide effective management of human resources management.

  • This study examines empirically whether appropriateness of training program, learning organization, and demographic factors enhance the effectiveness of training program for HRD in small and medium companies. The major findings are as follows: The appropriateness of training program, learning organization, and demographic factors of employee has a strong positive effect on the effectiveness of training program for human resource development and intent to participate in the training program in small and medium enterprise. The learning organization has a strong positive effect on the effectiveness of training program for human resource development and intent to participate in the training program in small and medium enterprise. Also effectiveness of training program for human resource development and intent to participate in the training program in small and medium enterprise is different according to demographic factors such as job type(blue collar job, office job, sales job), rank of job position, and the length of service in organization. The significant results of this study is that appropriate design of training program to make employees understand the purpose of education and trying to activate the learning organization can increase the effectiveness of traing program in small and medium enterprise.
