Impact of the Intermediate of Empowerment on the Relationship between Servant Leadership and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (서번트 리더십과 조직시민행동의 관계에서 임파워먼트의 매개효과)

  • In today's fast changing management environment, new role of leaders is being emphasized for survival of companies, and organizational achievement must be maximized by using servant leadership strategically. Data were collected from the sample of 435 employee employed service. All analysis were conducted using LISREL 8.30. The research studies how servant leadership influences organizational citizenship behavior through psychological empowerment. The result is as follows. First, it is found that, among the servant leadership's behavior characters, except for empathy and ethics, growth, vision and community building are found to be variables that increase psychological empowerment. Secondly, it is fund that psychological empowerment of organization's members has positive correlation on organizational citizenship behavior. Thirdly, it is found that among the servant leadership's behavior characters, except for empathy and ethics, growth, vision and community building are found to have meaningful positive influence over organized citizens' behavior through psychological empowerment. Likewise, the result means the servant leadership increases organizational citizenship behavior of the members through empowerment. For servant leadership to promote organizational citizenship behavior, it is suggested to emphasize empowerment. In other words, it is important to empower subordinates for servant leadership to make more useful and complete achievement in the organization.

Evaluation of Impedance on Biological Tissues Using Automatic Control Measurement System (자동제어 측정 시스템을 이용한 생체 조직의 임피던스 평가)

  • Each biological tissue has endemic electrical characteristics owing to various differences such as those in cellular arrangement or organization form. The endemic electrical characteristics change when any biological change occurs. This work is a preliminary study surveying the changes in the electrical characteristics of biological tissue caused by radiation exposure. For protection aganinst radiation hazards, therefore the electrical characteristics of living tissue were evaluated after development of the automatic control measurement system using LabVIEW. No alteration of biological tissues was observed before and after measurement of the electrical characteristics, and the biblogical tissues exhibited similar patterns. Through repeated measurements using the impedance/gain-phase analyzer, the coefficient of variation was determined as within 10%. The reproducibility impedance phase difference in electrical characteristics of the biological tissue did not change, and the tissue had resistance. The absolute value of impedance decreased constantly in proportion to the frequency. It has become possible to understand the electrical characteristics of biological tissues through the measurements made possible by the use of the developed. automatic control system.

In vitro propagation of oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) clones through somatic embryogenesis and analysis of somaclonal variation by RAPD (체세포배발생을 통한 오일팜나무(Elaeis guineensis Jacq.) 클론의 기내증식 및 RAPD를 이용한 체세포변이의 검정)

  • This study was carried out to develop reliable systems for somatic embryogenesis in oil palm tree (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.), and to verify the somaclonal variants by RAPD analysis. Embryogenic callus was induced successfully on modified half-strength MS medium containing $NaH_2PO_4{\cdot}2H_2O$ and casein. Embryogenic callus was further developed to somatic embryo mass (SEM), which is very hard and bonded tightly each other. Plantlets were proliferated when SEM was cultured on modified MS medium containing half strength $NH_4NO_3$, casein and L-ascorbic acid. Plantlets were transplanted into pots containing artificial soils. When RAPD analysis was conducted using randomly selected 95 in vitro plantlets and 19 random primers, somaclonal variation was detected using BNR35 primer. There was missing band around 1 kb in #22, #28, #35, and #77 plantlets. In addition, bands obtained from #28, #35, and #77 was much stronger than other normal bands. The blast results at NCBI revealed that somaclonal variation observed in this study was related to chloroplast genome of oil palm. The results also revealed that oil palm reproduction system through somatic embryogenesis is quite reliable and early detection of somaclonal variants seem to be possible at in vitro stage by RAPD analysis.

Cryopreservation of Embryogenic Tissue and Plant Regeneration in Larix leptolepis (낙엽송 (Larix leptolepis) 배발생조직의 초저온보존 및 식물체 재분화)

  • The possibility for long-term preservation of Larix leptolepis embryogenic tissue was tested in this study. Higher relative increase of the tissue fresh weight was observed when embryogenic tissue was pretreated for 24 hrs in a medium containing 0.4 M sorbitol or 20% polyethyleneglycol with cooling rate of -0.33$^{\circ}C$/min. The fast cooling rate of -0.5$^{\circ}C$ and -1.$0^{\circ}C$/min appeared to be less effective in regrowth of tissues from cryopreservation. No DNA variants have been observed by PCR analysis among the embryogenic tissues recovered after 1-, 7-, and 28-day-cryopreservation. The post-thaw embryogenic tissue gave rise to mature somatic embryos which developed into plants.

A Systematic Literature Review on Job Satisfaction of Dental Hygienist (치과위생사의 직무만족에 관한 체계적 문헌고찰)

  • This study systematically collected and analyzed the results of previous studies on job satisfaction of dental hygienists and analyzed the job satisfaction measurement tools and related factors. It was conducted according to the systematic review guidelines of PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-analysis), and 44 articles were used in the final analysis. In order to measure job satisfaction, ten measuring tools were used. All the measuring tool were developed overseas and they were modified. As a result of the literature analysis, the higher the job satisfaction, the more negative correlation was found between turnover intention and job stress, and positive correlation was found between organizational commitment and professional occupation. The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationship between job satisfaction and various variables and to investigate the improvement of job satisfaction of dental hygienist based on the results of this study.

Collagen과 osteopontin이 도입된 고기능성 PCL membrane의 제조 및 지방유래 줄기세포의 골세포 분화능 관찰

  • Poly-carprolactone (PCL)은 생분해성 고분자로 장기간의 임상실험 결과 생체에 독성이 없으며 생체친화성이 우수한 소재로 확인되어 PLGA, PLLA 등과 더불어 조직공학 분야에서 널리 사용되고 있는 생체재료이다. 그러나 PCL은 5개의 비극성 methylene group과 1개의 극성 ester group이 반복되는 지방족의 polyester로 구조상 탄소수가 많아 소수성을 띄는 단점을 가지고 있다. 이러한 표면이 소수성인 재료의 경우, 초기 단백질 흡착능이 떨어져 세포의 부착이 느린 속도로 일어나므로 세포 분화 및 조직 재생이 더디게 일어난다. 본 연구에서는 소수성의 PCL 표면의 단백질 흡착능을 증가시키기 위해 기능성 amine group을 부착하였으며, 또한 골재생을 촉진시킬 수 있는 세포외 기질인 collagen과 osteopontin을 부착함으로써 고기능성 PCL membrane을 제조하였다. 제조된 PCL membrane은 골재생용 조직공학에의 응용을 위해 지방유래 줄기세포를 이용하여 부착능 및 골세포로의 분화능을 확인하였다. 표면 성질의 변화에 의한 세포의 부착능의 변화를 confocal microscopy을 이용하여 부착에 관여하는 단백질의 발현을 확인하였으며, collagen과 osteopontin에 의한 골세포로의 분화능을 확인하기 위해 real time PCR을 통해 골세포의 분화 표지 유전자의 발현을 비교 분석하였다.

The Effects of Communication Satisfaction of the Case Managers on Service Quality in the Long-term Care Institutions (노인요양시설 사례관리자가 인지하는 조직 내 의사소통이 서비스 질에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between communications satisfaction and service quality perceived by the case managers in the long-term care institutions. For this, multiple regression analysis was conducted for the 104 case managers who were selected from the 48 long-term care institutions in Seoul metropolitan city and Kyungki province. The results showed that the communication satisfaction of care mangers was statistically significant variable in predicting the level of service quality. Based on the results, several practical implications were provided.

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the usefulness of routine liver ultrasonography on the basis of the scoring system according to the morphological parameters of liver ultrasound images and the histopathological results of liver biopsy. The morphological parameters of the liver through ultrasonography were divided into liver surface, liver edge and liver parenchyma. Pathologic results of liver biopsy were classified as mild fibrosis(F1), significant fibrosis(F2), severe fibrosis(F3), and cirrhosis(F4). In conclusion, routine ultrasound examination showed a sensitive predictive factor for fibrosis with mild fibrosis (F1) to severe fibrosis (F3) were liver edge>liver parenchyma>liver surface. However, the predictive factors for detecting cirrhosis (F4) were liver parenchyma>liver surface>liver edge. The use of three variable combinations rather than individual variables in routine ultrasonography may be useful in evaluating the degree and progress of liver fibrosis.

  • 연구목적: ADAMs은 metalloprotease/disintegrin domain을 가진 transmemebrane glycoprotein으로써 지금까지 30개 이상의 ADAM 및 10개 이상의 ADAMTS가 알려져 있다. 이들의 기능은 포유동물의 수정 시 sperm-egg binding과 fusion, myoblast fusion, integrin과의 결합 등에 직접 관여하거나, TNF-alpha 등의 생체신호전달물질이 세포로부터 분비될 때에 이들의 구조를 변화시켜 활성화시키는 효소작용, 그리고 dendritic cell differentiation 등에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 그러나 자궁내막 조직에서의 유전자 및 단백질 발현 여부에 관해서는 거의 보고되어 있지 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는 착상 전후 시기의 생쥐 자궁조직에서 ADAM-8, 9, 10, 12, 15, 17 그리고 ADAMTS-1의 유전자가 발현하는 지를 알아보았다. 연구 재료 및 방법: 본 연구에서는 생쥐의 자궁조직을 대상으로 ADAM-8, 9, 10, 12, 15, 17 그리고 ADAMTS-1을 선정하여, 초기 임신 기간에서의 유전자 발현 여부를 조사하였고 이 결과를 바탕으로 자궁조직에서의 이들 유전자들의 생리적인 기능을 규명하고자 하였다. 결 과: 임신한 생쥐 자궁조직에서의 ADAM-8, 9, 10, 12, 15, 17 그리고 ADAMTS-1의 유전자 및 단백질의 발현 양상을 RT-PCR 방법을 이용하여 알아본 결과, 조사된 ADAM 종류와 임신 날짜별로 다르게 나타났다. ADAM-8의 유전자 전사체는 임신 1일째 매우 강하게 발현되었으나 임신 3일째로 진행되면서 감소하다가 이후 다시 임신 5일째가 되면서 증가하는 양상을 보였다. ADAM-9, 10, 17 그리고 ADAMTS-1의 경우는 임신 1일째에서 5일째까지 유전자의 발현 양상이 크게 변하지 않았고 ADAM-12와 ADAM-15의 유전자 전사체는 임신 1일에서 5일로 진행되면서 현저하게 증가되는 양상을 보였다. 이후 임신 6일에서 8일에서는 생쥐 배아가 착상된 부위와 비 착상부위로 나누어 유전자의 발현 양상을 관찰한 결과, 조사된 ADAM 모두 비착상 부위보다 착상부위에서 유전자 전사체의 발현이 크게 증가되는 것으로 나타났다. 결 론: 이상의 결과로 미루어 ADAM 유전자는 임신초기 착상과정과 임신 단계에 따른 자궁의 조직 재구성에 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 생각된다.

Changes in Tissue Structure and Pectins of Chinese Cabbage during Salting and Heating (염절임 및 가열에 의한 배추조직의 구조와 펙틴의 변화)

  • The structure of fresh, salted and heated petiole tissue from Chinese cabbage was examined with optical microscope, and the pectin of the tissues was fractionated by successive extraction. The pectin in Chinese cabbage consisted mainly of high methoxyl pectin(pA) and low methoxyl pectin(pB). The pA content was converted to pB markedly by salting and heating at $60{\sim}70^{\circ}C$ for 30 min while heating the cabbage above 80 decreased pB content. The firmness of heated tissue was highly correlated with pB content(r=0.996). Cytorrhysis test showed that pore size of the tissue became smaller by salting and heating at temperature below $80^{\circ}C$.
