Analysis of Differences in Information Security Compliance according to Individual Coping and Organizational Homogeneity Culture (개인 대처와 조직 동질성 문화에 따른 정보보안 준수 차이 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to present the effect of differences in individual coping and organizational homogeneity culture on information security compliance from an exploratory perspective. The study divided groups into individual coping (task-oriented, emotion-oriented) and organizational homogeneity culture (homogeneity, heterogeneity), confirms the difference in information security for each group through cross-design and presents a multiple mediation model between information security factors. As a result of the study, in the coping dimension, the average of the security compliance factors was higher in the emotion-oriented than the task-oriented, and in the homogeneity culture dimension, the average of the security compliance factors was higher in the homogeneity than the heterogeneity. Additionally, social influence and involvement had a multiple mediation effect on the relationship between information security awareness and compliance intention. The implications of this study were to confirm the difference in the effect of individual decision-making styles on security compliance according to the organizational culture differences. The results suggest the necessity of applying a customized information security compliance model for each organization and individual characteristics.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine how to effectively further empowerment among organizational members based on empowerment theories. And it's also meant to investigate the influential relationship between job characteristics, which are the variables that organizational members should consider, and empowerment in an effort to provide more autonomy for the members of enterprises in Korean society. As a result of making the study, there were a significant positive influential relationship and significant correlation between job characteristics and empowerment. In the future, it seems necessary to make research to determine the process and way of furthering empowerment among organizational members and the characteristics of empowerment-boosting organizational culture, and more research should be implemented to apply the findings of these research efforts in various fields.

  • The changes in the 4th industrial revolution era are not limited to specific sectors, but affect all sectors of industry. Thus all companies are required to respond effectively to changes. Some companies response by adopting cutting-edge ICT and some companies improve the organizational structure, or enhance the competence of individual employees. This study is based on the assumption that the responses to the change in the 4th industrial revolution era should not be uniform, and that the response strategies and priorities should vary according to the characteristics of the companies. The purpose of this study is to suggest both different response strategies and the priority of the responding factors(areas) to small and medium-sized enterprises. Data were collected through the semi-Delphi method. As a result of data analysis, the priorities of the medium-sized enterprises were as follows: introduction of IT-strengthening the competence of the individuals - establishing technology infrastructure-improving organizational structure - efficiency of work - improving organizational culture. While the priorities of the response factors(area) of the small-sized companies were as follows: strengthening the competence of the individuals - efficiency of work - introduction of IT - establishing technology infrastructure - improving organizational structure - improving organizational culture.

The Effects of CRM Commitment and Organizational Culture on CRM Performance (CRM 몰입과 조직문화가 CRM 성과에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the organizational characteristics that enhance CRM performances of a company. Based on a review of diverse definitions of CRM performance, this study examines the relationships among CRM performance measures and organizational characteristics. A questionnaire survey of 123 CRM managers of Korean companies was conducted to test the proposed research model, and a series of structural equation modeling identified the strong effects of organizational characteristics on CRM performance. It was found that top management commitment to CRM and a firm's strategic readiness lead to high levels of CRM investment, which, in turn, enhance directly task-related performance and indirectly customer-related performance. This study also confirmed that customer orientation is significantly related to task-related CRM performance and that the variables of CRM commitment and organizational culture may enhance customerrelated performance indirectly through their effects on the task-related performance. However, organizational members' resistance to change was found to have no effects on CRM performance. Overall our research broadly supports the role of organizational characteristics revealed in the CRM literature.

  • 많은 기업에서 기업문화(Corporate Culture)를 개선하는 노력을 진행하고 있다. 그 동안 기업문화라고 하면 회사 내 임직원의 사고방식이나 행동에 영향을 주는 단순한 분위기 정도로 인식되었지만, 이제는 시대에 맞지 않는 기업문화가 기업 성장에 걸림돌로 작용할 만큼 중요한 부분이 되고 있다. 이와 같은 변화 가운데 본 연구는 창의와 혁신의 경쟁 시대에 보다 바람직한 기업문화 개선을 위해 글로벌 콘텐츠 기업 구글의 혁신적인 기업문화에 대해서 분석하였다. 특히 다양한 사례를 조사하는 과정에서 본 연구는 기업문화 분석 Frame이 되는 7S 모델을 활용하여 Strategy, Skill, Shared Value, Structure, System, Staff, Style 관점에서 조직의 내부 특성을 분석하였다. 본 연구를 통해 글로벌 콘텐츠 기업의 차별적 경쟁력을 배우고 이를 바탕으로 국내 기업이 기술적 역량을 강화하고 시장을 개척해나가는 선도자(First Mover)로 변화하는 기업문화 개선이 있기를 기대해 본다. 자사의 기업문화(Corporate Culture)를 개선하기 위한 노력을 진행하고 있다.

  • Knowledge Management System(KMS) is being built or built in many construction companies for their Competitive Power over expecting that KM leads to Managemental effective outcome and brings out profit. But the real aspects contrary to those Expectations and the outcome through KM dose not match the anticipant value. It is why most of them do not have a tendency to consider of besides of Computer system which are organization culture or cognition of members and think important of Computer System except others and the study on KM has not been enough. As those reason, there are little great managemental or administration growth through KM. On these problems this study has been started, and Organization Culture for KM's practical efficiency was treated and studied in the paper how to solve the problems and make KM effective.

  • This study focuses on the characteristics of culture and art industry organizations that emphasize tradition and artistic values. The purpose is to investigate the relationship between transformational leadership, job meaning and collective efficacy, and to clarify the effect of this study. In order to clarify this relationship, research models and hypotheses were set up based on literature research, and 377 questionnaires were distributed and retrieved for the relevant industry workers. The results showed that transformational leadership had a significant effect on group efficacy. In addition, the influence of transformational leadership on job meaning, the effect of job meaning on collective efficacy, and the mediating effect of job semantics were confirmed. These findings can provide guidelines for organizational change by identifying the effects of transformational leadership on the attitudes of members in the culture and arts industry.

  • Knit fabrics are created on diverse machines with diverse knit loops and conditions to make different patterns and fabric types. Dimensional modifications of knit fabrics can also be achieved by numerous methods such as different knit-loop structures, different types of yarns, or different finishing processes including heat setting, steaming, chemical treatment et cetera. This research develops and explores sophisticated three-dimensional knit fabrics by combining the several different knit stitches including rib and purl. This study focuses on 3D knit models created on modern electronic weft (flat V-bed) knitting machines which have capability of individual needle selection. Several samples of the 3D knitted fabrics are also examined in this research. This research furthermore suggests new types of knitted fashion garment made by using the interesting physical effects.

  • The purpose of the research is to suggest the method to maximize management achievement of the sheltered workshops with analyzing the factors of organizational competencies which affect the business performance. The study was proceeded after suggesting the research model based on discussion on the business performance of Malcolm Baldrige (1987) model which assessed as the most optimized one for evaluation of the business performance of enterprise. First, the organizational competence of the sheltered workshop impact on commercial performance and noncommercial performance meaningfully. The commercial performance affects marketing competence, administrative competence, financial competence in order of mention, and noncommercial performance affects workshop cultural competence, financial competence, leader competence, human resources competence in order of mention. Second, the organizational competence of the sheltered workshop affects comprehensive business performance including commercial and noncommercial, in order of marketing competence, workshop cultural competence, financial competence, and human resource competence.

A Study on the Relationships among Nursing Organizational Characteristics, Types of Nursing Organizational Culture and Team Effectiveness at Operating Rooms (수술실의 간호조직특성, 조직문화 유형 및 팀 효과성과의 관계)

  • Purpose: This study was a literary investigation in the development of an effective team-raised and cultural nursing organization targeting operating room nurses. This was done by grasping organizational features, different types of nursing organizational culture and team effectiveness, and by analyzing the relationships among variables. Method: The participators were 373 nurses. The data was collected between March 10th and April 28th, 2004. SPSS Win 11.0 program was used for data analysis. Results: Results of this study were as follows: A nursing organization at operating rooms was found to have an organizational culture with the characteristic of a centralized power and hierarchy-oriented organizational culture. With respect to a relationship between operating room organizational characteristics and the types of nursing organizational culture, there was a significant correlation in relationship-oriented culture and innovation-oriented culture. In the relation between the types of operating room organizational culture and team-effectiveness, it showed a significant correlation in team-devotion, peer-groupsatisfactional perception of a team's outcome in decreasing order. Conclusion: The organizational characteristic at operating rooms was power centralization and the culture type was hierarchy-oriented. These are factors that have a negative effect on a team-effectiveness-affecting relationship-oriented culture, innovation-oriented culture and work-oriented culture.
