  • 본 연구에서는 조직이 지식경영을 실천함에 있어 지식의 문서화 및 재활용에 초점을 맞추고 있는지 아니면 조직내 전문가 활용에 초점을 맞추고 있는지, 그리고 지식의 획득 원천을 조직내부와 외부 어디에 두고 있는지에 따라 지식경영의 실천유형을 분류하고, 분류된 실천유형에 따라 기업의 지식경영성과가 어떠한 차이를 보이는 지를 검증하고, 지식경영의 초점 및 지식 원천의 분류변수가 지식경영성과에 미치는 개별 영향력도 함께 분석하였다.

  • This paper aims to examine the moderate effects of Client's Organizational Character on the relationships between Consulting Service Quality and Business Performance. To accomplish these purposes, The questionaries of 192 were inspected to the CEO or PM having consulting experience at the companies in Daegu and kyoung-buk. First, Consulting Service Quality presented a meaningful result(+) with the Business Performance. Second, Consulting Service Quality have differential influence on Business Performance by Client' s Organizational Character.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the mediated effects of entrepreneurship and market orientation on organizational culture and management performance as the cause of the reversal phenomenon of startups defeating traditional giants. Through the research method of bootstrapping proposed by Hayes (2013), the total effect, direct effect and indirect effect analysis were conducted. As a result, there was no direct impact relationship between organizational culture and management performance, but it was confirmed that it had a positive impact on management performance by mediating both entrepreneurial behavior and market orientation in the relationship between organizational culture and management performance. This study is meaningful in that it is linked to existing theories such as entrepreneurship and market orientation and it extends the scope of competency targets required for business performance to an organizational culture. Companies need to create an innovation-oriented organizational culture for management performance and value creation, and they have to open up their culture with entrepreneurial behavior and market orientation by breaking away from the inertia of organization.

  • 본 연구는 성과관리가 조직의 지속적인 성장과 발전의 혁신도구로써 조직성과에 영향을 미친다는 측면에서 공공부문의 균형성과표(BSC) 운용의 성공요인과 고려사항을 바탕으로 연구모형을 설정한 후 이를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 성과관리를 위한 BSC의 추진 관리 단계인 계획, 실행, 평가, 환류, 등 순환주기에 관련된 변수들을 독립변수로 하고, 조직성과에 관련된 변수들을 종속변수로 선정하여 독립변수가 종속변수에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. BSC를 구축 운영하고 있는 공공기관의 BSC 성과관리시스템 담당자에게서 설문조사를 실시하여 분석한 결과, BSC 운영 단계별 하위변수들은 상호간에 영향을 미치며, 조직성과에도 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 분석결과에 따른 정책적인 시사점은 성과관리를 조직 내에 촉진 유지하기 위한 조직적, 정책적, 전략적 환경을 조성하여야 한다는 점이다. 또한 공공부문에서 성과관리제도가 실패하는 가장 큰 이유는 객관적인 평가지표가 명확히 설정되지 않았거나 보상체계가 불충분하기 때문이다. 공공부문의 경쟁력 확보를 위해서는 구성원이 전략적 사고의식을 가져야 한다.

Influence of Organizational Factors on Business Performance in INNOBIZ SMEs: Focusing on the Mediating Effects of Absorption Capacity (기술혁신형 중소기업의 조직요인이 경영성과에 미치는 영향: 흡수역량의 매개효과를 중심으로)

  • As the open innovation paradigm spreads, the ability to search for new external knowledge and combine it with the organization's existing knowledge has been cosidered to play an important role in improving business performance of a company. This study empirically analyzed the influence of such organizational variables as empowering leadership, organizational learning culture, and interdepartmental cooperation on business performance of innovative technology SMEs focusing on the mediating effects of absorption capacity. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on 15,227 INNOBIZ SMEs, and 326 usable questionnaires were collected and analyzed using the structural equation model. Statistical analyses showed that the direct influence of empowering leadership, organizational learning culture, and interdepartmental cooperation on business performance was not found, but indirect effects of three organizational variables on business performance proved significant using absorption capacity as a mediating variable. This result also indicates that empowering leadership, organizational learning culture, and interdepartmental cooperation are important antecedent variables of absorption capacity.

  • Recently, many korean construction companies have faced many environmental changes and demands for external changes. This demand for external changes is necessary for all companies that is under the survival of fittest. The internal/external of environmental changes affect the organizations of company largely, and these management organizations have relation with the corporate of management performance closely. In response to that, to be adapted to the environmental change and to raise the corporate of management performance, the construction companies have tried to change the organizations such as organization re-design, organization re-build, organization innovation. Because the organizational structure that is preventive in the growth of companies bring a negative effect, the companies need to have the effective organizations to raise the corporate value. The effective organizations could be used the important indicator that builds the corporate goals and manages the organizations. Also, the organization development and organization management can prepare for environmental changes can be the important base to increase the management performance. Therefore, After surveying and analyzing the character of organization structure in respect to the OLC, this study present the Organization Structure Model that can design the appropriate organization by the growth of companies.

  • The issue of enhancing salespersons' performance by introducing the concept of organizational identification has been addressed. This empirical study focuses on how salespersons' performance is influenced by organizational identification. Salespersons' performance is the main outcome variable. Organizational identification may also affect performance through internalization. This study also examines how several antecedents influence organizational identification. Three important antecedents in this study are (1) tenure with the organization, (2) the organization's perceived prestige and (3) perceived interorganizational competition. Among six hypotheses formulated based on the conceptual framework, five are found accepted based on a structural equation model. Several theoretical and managerial implications are presented.

Causality between Entrepreneurial Orientation and Business Performance: Conditional Indirect Effect of New Product Development and Organizational Size (기업가적 지향성과 경영성과 간 관계: 조직규모에 따른 신제품개발의 조건부 간접효과)

  • This study examines the indirect effects of new product development(NPD) on the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation(EO) and business performance is contingent on organization size. Although previous studies have revealed that EO has a positive effect on business performance and NPD, there have been no research attempts to comprehensively grasp the causal path of EO, NPD, and business performance. Therefore, this study analyzed the causal path focusing not only on final financial business performance affected by EO but also on the mediating role of new product development, which is an intermediate performance. Based on the sample of 3,299 firms from the 2018 Entrepreneurship Survey(Corporate), we analyzed the EO-NPD-business performance relationship and explored whether such an indirect effect of EO on business performance differs depending on the size of the firm. The results showed that EO has a positive impact on business performance and NPD. In addition, NPD positively mediates the relationship between EO and business performance under the condition of large size firm, although NPD does not have a direct effect on business performance. With the findings, the current study has principal implications for practicing managers. The result of this study is not to suggest that NPD triggered by EO is a panacea for improving final business performance. The study suggests a need to equip organizational capabilities to successfully commercialize new products and appeal to the market and customers, beyond simply developing new products seeking newness based on EO.

프로스포츠 산업의 조직 구성원의 역량에 따른 관리자의 역할: 미국프로농구(NBA)와 한국프로농구(KBL) 감독의 실증연구 분석

  • 벤처기업 CEO의 본질적 역량과 역할은 조직의 자원을 얼마나 효율적으로 운영하는가에 따라 관리자로서 조직성과에 큰 영향을 미친다. 이러한 중요성에도 불구하고 CEO 역량 수준이 조직이 내재하는 자원에 미치는 영향에 대한 이론적 고찰과 CEO의 역량 수준과 조직성과 간의 관계가 조직 구성원의 역량에 따라서 어떻게 달라지는가에 관한 실증연구는 매우 부족한 실정이다. 기존 선행연구의 한계점을 보완하기 위해 본 연구에서는 자원기반이론(resource-based view of the firm)을 바탕으로 프로스포츠 산업에서의 조직 구성원의 역량에 따른 관리자의 감독역할에 대해 실증적으로 분석하였다. 구체적으로, 본 연구에서는 기존의 스포츠 기업가정신(sport entrepreneurship) 연구 분야의 이론을 경영전략의 자원기반관점과 융합하여 벤처기업 CEO와 프로스포츠 감독의 역할이 조직구조와 성과 메커니즘의 측면에서 매우 흡사하며 조직의 자원을 효율적으로 운영하고 성과를 도출하는 측면에서 모두 기업가(entrepreneur)적 특성을 반드시 내재해야 한다고 본다. 이러한 맥락에서 프로스포츠팀에서의 관리자로서의 감독 역량과 조직성과 간의 관계에서 조직의 자원 효율성의 매개효과와 조직 구성원 역량에 대한 조절효과를 설명하고자 한다. 미국프로농구(NBA) 30개 구단과 한국프로농구(KBL) 10개 구단의 9개 시즌(2013~2014시즌 - 2021~2022시즌)의 감독과 팀 데이터를 실증분석에 있어 프로세스 매크로 58 모형을 적용하여 본 연구의 가설을 검증하였다. 실증분석 결과, 미국프로농구과 한국프로농구 데이터 모두에서 (1) 프로농구팀의 자원 효율성은 감독의 역량과 승률 간의 정(+)의 관계를 매개하고, (2) 조직 구성원의 역량은 농구팀의 자원 효율성을 통한 감독 역량이 승률에 미치는 간접효과를 조절(p<.05) 하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 비교적 객관적으로 조직의 성과측정이 가능한 프로스포츠 데이터를 활용하여 프로스포츠 산업에서 벤처기업의 CEO와 유사한 기업가적 역할을 수반해야 하는 감독 및 조직 구성원의 역량이 조직의 성과에 미치는 영향을 실증분석하는 한편 스포츠 애널리틱스(sport analytics) 분야와 경영학 연구를 융합하였다는 의의가 있다.

The Effect of Organizational Learning on Management Performance: Mediating Effects of Innovation Activities (조직학습이 경영성과에 미치는 영향 - 혁신활동을 매개로 -)

  • This study focused on the concept of organizational learning as a prior variable of innovation activities, and reviewed the relationship between organizational learning, innovation and management performance. According to prior studies, the ability to perform these activities may be enhanced through organizational learning, as the success of the innovation requires activities to acquire and share knowledge within the organization. In other words, organizational learning is playing a role as a precursor to innovation. Therefore, in this study, the effects of organizational learning on management performance are to be verified through the mediation effect of product and innovation activities. Organizational learning provides various definitions and components for each scholar, but this study consisted of a series of knowledge acquisition, information distribution, information analysis and process memory using the framework of the learning ability analysis by Levitt and March(1988) and Huber(1991), Innovation was also divided into product innovation and process innovation, and measured with sub-variables such as presentation of new products and improvement activities to increase productivity. Management performance was measured as financial and non-financial performance. To verify the effects of the mediation, we used a three-step regression analysis procedure of Baron and Kenny(1986)'s and a sobel-test. Empirical studies show that organizational learning has a positive effect on management performance and that knowledge acquisition and information distribution, which are the early stages of learning activities in the lower variables, affect performance through product innovation. Based on the results of the above empirical study, the implications, limitations of the study and future research directions were presented.
