Flap rudder의 항력 및 양력에 관한 실험 연구

  • 최근 좀 더 우수한 조타성능을 요구하는 특수목적선박의 수요가 증가하고 있고, 조종선응 향상과 관련하여 조타성능은 매우 중요한 요소이다. 이 연구에서는 여러가지 특수타 중 flap rudder의 조타성능에 관한 내용을 파악하기 위하여 flap rudder 모형을 제작하여 실험을 수행하였고, 플랩각에 따른 항력 및 양력의 변화를 분석하였다.

Maneuverabilities of the M . S . Pusan 404 (부산 404호의 조종성능에 관한 연구)

  • The maneuverabilities of the M.S. Pusan 404 are studied, based on maneuvering indices and the data obtained from her Z test. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1. The maneuvering indices K' and T' of the M.S Pusan 404 are 0.9359, 0.1955 at 10° Z test and 0.9781, 0.5802 at 20° Z test and 0.9108, 0.7090 at 30° Z test respectively. The above calculated values K', T' showed that her maneuverabilities are more effective when the rudder is used to small angle than to large angle. 2. As her maneuvering indices K' and T' at 10° Z test are smaller than the standard maneuvering indices of fishing boats, her turning ability was found to be lower but her obeying ability higher. 3. the running distance of a turn at her 10° Z test was about 8.7 times her own len호 and she was considered to have good maneuverabilities synthetically.

  • The maneuverabilities of the M.S. TAMYANG are studied, based on maneuvering indices and the data obtained from her Z test. The results obtained are summarized as follows : 1.   • Maneuverability of ships has been receiving a great deal of attention both concerning navigation safety and the prediction of ship maneuvering characteristics, to improve it. high-lift device could be applied to design of rudder at design stage. Now, we carried out the flow visualization and investigation of flow field around a flap rudder(trailing-edge flap). Flow visualization results of flap defection shown as the flow around a NACA0020 Flap Rudder will be conducted in a Circulating Water Channel. The purpose of this investigation will be to investigate the development of the separation region on the flap rudder with the variation of the angle of attack and determine the angle of attack at which the flow separates and reattaches.

육상제어센터 성능시험결과 및 개선방안

  • 자율운항선박 원격제어시스템은 선박운항상태모니터링시스템, 통신시스템, 선박제어시스템으로 구성되어 있다. 육상제어센터는 자율운항선박의 원활한 원격제어를 위해 각 개별시스템의 통합절차를 거쳐 육상제어센터의 통합시스템을 구축하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 원격제어 실선실험을 통해 작동성능시험, 제어성능시험, 조종성능시험 등 3종 성능평가를 시행, 원격제어시스템을 평가하고자 한다. 이중에서 일부 성능평가를 시행하여 식별된 문제점과 이를 해결하기 위한 방안을 제시, 향후 진행되는 추가성능시험을 통해 원격제어시스템의 안정성을 확보하고자 한다.

  • 최근 우리나라에서는 새로운 항만설계 혹은 변경 등을 함에 있어 해상교통안전진단을 우선적으로 실시하여 해상교통의 안전을 도모하고 있다. 이 해상교통안전진단은 자연환경 및 해상교통조사, 선박조종시뮬레이션, 해상교통류 시뮬레이션, 계류안전성, 그리고 안전대책 등으로 구성되어 있다. 그 중 선박조종과 관련된 선박조종시뮬레이션이 아주 중요하다. 이것은 해당 항만에서 선박 조종을 담당하는 도선사 혹은 선장들에게 직접적인 관련이 있기 때문이다. 선박조종시뮬레이션에서 근접도 평가는 항로 혹은 접이안 조선의 안전도를 평가하는 중요한 요소이다. 그러나 근접도 평가는 시뮬레이션의 횟수를 얼마 이상으로 할 때 제대로 된 평가를 할 수 있는가 하는 점은 밝혀져 있지 않다. 중심극한정리에 따르면 30회 이상이면 표본 집단은 정규분포를

  • 선박조종시뮬레이터는 해기사의 교육 훈련, 항만 수로 설계 시 안전성 평가, 선박설계시 조종성능의 검토등으로 널리 활용되고 있다. 본 논문은 최근 한국해양대학교에서 개발한 선박조종시뮬레이터를 소개하고 개발 과정과 활용에 대하여 논의한다. 본 시뮬레이터는 Operation Panel, Instructor's Console, Ship Dynamics Calculation, 3D Bridge View, 2D Bird's Eye View 및 Navigational Indicators의 6구성요소로 이루어져 있으며, 이를 위해 8대의 퍼스널 컴퓨터가 배치되어 있다. 모든 구성요소들은 효율적인 정보 교환을 위하여 분산처리네트워크 방식으로 연결되어 있다. 또한, 본 논문은 항만내에서의 저속 시 조종운동 수학모델과 가상현실 모델링에 대해서도 논의한다. 마지막으로, 부산항에 대한 2축2타선박의 접안 조종 시뮬레이션 예를 보여주고 있다.

  • Ship maneuverability is mainly determined according to hull-propeller-rudder system of a ship and directly related to the ship safety during the operation in the ocean. Among hull-propeller-rudder system the rudder system had direct concern with the ship maneuverability and a special rudder has been recommended to improve the ship maneuverability. In this paper the study of flapped rudder's 2-dimensional section was accomplished Model tests had been carried out with different angles of attack of a main foil and flap's deflection angles to predict the performance of the flapped rudder and the 2 frame particle tracking method had been used to obtain the velocity distribution in the flow field during model tests. $Re=1.027{\times}10^4$ had been used during the whole experiments and measured results had been compared with each other.

  • A ship with small metacentric height or high speed vessel performs relatively large roll angles in her manoeuvring motion. Roll coupling effect should be taken into consideration for accurate prediction of manoeuvring motion of such a ship. This paper proposes a new mathematical model of ship manoeuvring motion taking coupling effect of roll into consideration. Some kinds of manoeuvring motion are simulated by computer, based upon the proposed model. The simualted results by proposed model here are compared with those by existing model. The proposed model is found to be practical and useful for prediction of manoeuvring motion with roll effect.
