Development of robot controller using 3D simulation (3차원 시뮬레이션을 이용한 로봇 제어기의 개발)

  • 본 연구는 3차원 그래픽 시뮬레이션을 이용한 6축 다관절 로봇의 제어기를 개발함으로써 이를 사용하는 산업현장의 작업자에게 로봇에 대한 이해를 높이고, 실제 로봇을 조작함에 있어 작업의 효율을 높일 수 있도록 하는 것이다. 개발한 제어용 S/W는 산업용 로봇에 대한 시뮬레이션 기능과 방위표시기능 둥을 포함하며, 편리한 GUI로 사용자의 편의성과 작업시간의 단축 둥을 개선하였다. 또한 개발된 제어기의 S/W는 사용자의 필요에 따라서 추가/변경할 수 있는 유연성도 있다.

  • 본 논문은 실생활에서 많이 사용되는 LED 전광판을 제어하는 안드로이드 기반 응용프로그램과 그 설계방법에 대한 연구이다. 일반적으로 LED 전광판에는 PC가 붙어 있어서 LED 전광판에 표시할 내용을 설정하고 제어하는 역할을 한다. 반면, 본 연구에서는 LED 전광판을 제어하는 서버를 스마트폰으로 제어할 수 있도록 안드로이드 기반 응용프로그램을 개발하였다. 이를 통해 사용자는 전광판을 제어(켜고/끄는 등)하거나 전광판의 내용을 바꾸고자 할 때, 언제 어디서나 편리하게 이를 조작할 수 있다.

Validation test for using the computer-generated prototype in the usability test for the control-display panel of a refrigerator (래피드 프로토타이핑 기술을 이용한 냉장고 제어표시판의 사용성평가에 대한 유효성 검증)

  • Rapid prototyping is an efficient method to evaluate the usability of electric home appliances. However, the use of rapid prototyping method in usability tests has not been sufficiently validated. The purpose of this study was to validate computer-generated prototypes whether they can replace real products in usability tests. The control-display panel of a refrigerator was selected for this study. Sixteen female subjects participated in a between-subjects experiment: Eight subjects of them used the real refrigerator while others used the computer-generated prototype of the refrigerator. The difference between the refrigerator and the prototype was analyzed in terms of task failure rate, task completion time, and the number of buttons pressed for three typical tasks: clock setting, selecting an operation mode for refrigerating room, and selecting an rapid freezing mode. The results of a non-parametric statistical test showed that the prototype was not significantly different from the real refrigerator. Therefore, the rapid prototyping technique can be applied to the usability tests for the simple electric home appliances such as the refrigerator.

User Interface Design for One-Handed Web Searching on Large Screen Smart Phone (대화면 스마트폰에서의 한 손 조작 웹 검색을 위한 인터페이스 디자인)

  • As smart phones have been increasingly used to access information with bigger screens and higher resolution, smart phones have rapidly grown larger. Even Apple which had stuck to the 4-inch smart phone screen size, released 5.5-inch iPhone 6 plus. In this trend of smart phone enlargement, manufacturers have mostly incorporated one-handed modes to 5-inch or larger phones to keep the convenience of one-handed operation. But most of them provide just smaller screens and are rather complicated to set up after several menus to touch. In this study, this research examined one-handed functions of each smart phone manufacturer to understand problems in the one-handed smart-phone manipulation of web-browsing which is one of the frequent smart phone services. And by investigating smart phone users, this research found out requirements for one-handed web search operation. Based on this examination, the author of this research designed an efficient one-handed interface for mobile web-search without reducing the screen size. Then, to assess the possible usability improvement, the prototype was applied to a large 5.5-inch-screen smart phone to evaluate its performance through observation and surveys and find out manipulation satisfaction and further improvements.

  • 중추신경계의 미주신경동쪽핵(DMV)내 유사핵분열후 신경세포로 외래 유전자를 전달하는 매개체로서 pseudorabies 바이러스(PRV)의 유전자 조작기술은 흰쥐의 결장내로 PRV를 주입시킨 후 복잡한 신경로 추적에 관한 연구에서 하나의 바이러스에 의해 얻어지는 것보다 더욱 유용한 결과산출이 가능하게 하였다. 본 연구에서는 흰쥐의 생체내 실험모델로 하나의 바이러스 또는 이중 바이러스 주입에 PRV의 유전자 조작된 2종 바이러스를 사용하였다. 이 2종의 바이러스는 PRV의 Bartha 종에서 유래되었지만 면역조직화학적으로 검출할 수 있는 동일한 유전산물을 산출할 수 있도록 구성되었다. PRV-BaBlu는 PRV 게놈의 Us 구역 중 gC 자리에 lacZ 유전자를 삽입하여 산출되었는데 $\beta-galactosidase$ 발현은 이 바이러스에 감염된 신경원의 독특한 표시자로 나타났다. PRV-D는 2가지 단계에 의해 조성되었는데 첫째, PRV-Bartha의 Us 구역의 일부 유전자를 제거하고, 야생형인 PRV-Be DNA로 복구시켰는데 이로써 PRV-D는 PRV-Bartha 또는 PRV-Bablu에 존재하고 있지 않는 외피 당단백질인 gE와 gI를 지니게 되었다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같았다. 첫째, PRV-D의 개별적 접종에 의해 얻어진 감염은 PRV-BaBlu에 의한 동일 신경회로의 감염보다 유의하게 빨랐다. 둘째, 유전자 조작된 PRV의 변이종은 변이종 상호간 및 부모 바이러스와 상이하였다. PRV-D는 PRV-Bartha 또는 PRV-BaBlu보다 감염독성이 더 강했고, PRV-BaBlu는 PRV-Bartha보다 감염독성이 약했다. 셋째, 결장을 지배하는 미주신경동쪽핵내 신경원은 변이종 바이러스들을 동시에 접종하였을 경우 이중감염을 나타내었다.

The Effects of the Food Labeling Home Economics Instruction applying ARCS Motivation Teaching Strategy on Middle School Students' Learning Motivation, Recognition and Use of Food Labels (ARCS 동기유발 전략을 적용한 가정과 식품표시 수업이 중학생의 학습동기와 식품표시에 대한 인식 및 활용도에 미치는 효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of home economics instruction in food labeling using a motivational(ARCS-Attention, Relevance, Confidence, and Satisfaction) strategy to increase middle school students' learning motivation, recognition and use of food labels. To achieve this purpose, teaching-learning plans of food label instruction using a motivation(ARCS) strategy were developed over four class periods using a pretest-posttest experimental design. The experiment was conducted across two groups as follows: 4 experimental groups that received the motivation(ARCS) strategy instruction, and 3 comparative groups that received lecture type instruction. The pretest-posttest scores of the experimental and comparative groups were compared. The 203 data of questionnaires for the experiment were analyzed and evaluated by Analysis of Covariance(ANCOVA) using SPSS Win 12,0. The results of this study were as follows: First, teaching-learning plans, learning materials, and teacher reference materials for the home economics food label instruction that applied the motivation(ARCS) strategy were developed in five subject areas: nutrition labels, food additives, genetically modified food, irradiated food, and food quality verification labels. Second, students' learning motivation of the two groups showed statistically meaningful differences. Home economics instruction using a motivation(ARCS) strategy was more effective in increasing students' learning motivation than lecture type instruction. Third, as a result of ANCOVA which regulated the recognition of food labels in the pre-experimental design, the recognition of food labels in the post-experimental design showed the meaningful differences depending on the instruction style(motivation strategy and lecture type instruction). In addition, comprehensibility, practical use and educational necessity of food label details showed statistically meaningful differences. Home economics instruction using motivation(ARCS) strategy was more effective than lecture type instruction in improving students' recognition of food labeling. Fourth, as a result of ANCOVA which regulated the use of food labels in the pre-experimental stage, the use of food labels in the post-experimental stage showed meaningful differences between experimental and comparative groups depending on the instruction style. Therefore, home economics instruction in food labeling using motivation(ARCS) strategy was more effective than lecture type instruction in increasing students' use of food labels.

A UI Authoring Tool User Needs Analysis through Mobile Game for Smart Devices (사용자 요구 분석을 통한 스마트폰 용 UI 저작도구의 제작)

  • A smart phone has an error if we design games on it because smart phone should be able to have input and output simultaneously through the screen. Using the existing layout of the game as a base for research, the layout was divided to four categories that are information area, informational appearance area, operation area and inutility area. Given the research results, we developed an authoring tool to design games for smart phones. Moreover, we applied the authoring tool to develop games and effectively reduce the developing time.

  • 본 논문에서는 주행 중 차량의 상태를 실시간으로 모니터링함과 동시에, 페달 조작 여부를 확인할 수 있는 영상 촬영 및 저장 시스템을 제안한다. 개발된 차량 운행 정보 블랙박스는 블루투스 OBD2 커넥터를 통해 차량의 PID 값을 식별하고 수집한다. 이 데이터는 비동기 방식으로 처리되며, 라즈베리파이와 7인치 터치 디스플레이를 이용해 운전자에게 한눈에 보일 수 있는 형태로 정보를 제공한다. 특히, 멀티스레드를 활용하여 ECU 정보를 페달 조작 여부 영상에 표시하는 동시에 녹화하고, CSV 파일로 SD 카드에 실시간으로 저장한다. 수집된 차량 데이터와 영상 데이터는 예기치 못한 사고 발생 시 운전자의 과실 비율 측정과 대처행동을 입증하는 데 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 기대되며, 차량 정비 시 참고 자료로 활용될 수 있다.

Implementation of the Environment for Mobile HMI Communication Settings Based on QR Code

  • As products that consumers want become more diverse, the types of automation equipment are becoming more diverse and advanced to produce competitive products. In general, equipment is manufactured with built-in interface devices (HMI) for users so that operators can efficiently monitor and operate equipment quickly. Because HMI devices are connected to various industrial controllers, elements such as communication protocols of various controllers must be understood and set up in the design stage. Non-experts not only have difficulty choosing compatible items among various protocols, but also have limitations in integrating and operating on one device because screens and settings are statically assigned. This paper proposes a model that can scan information such as equipment ID and communication protocol with QR code using a mobile device, access industrial controller, and remotely operate the displayed equipment screen. The proposed model is expected to increase efficiency in inspection and management of automated equipment as it can easily set, monitor, and operate the communication environment of various automated equipment using one mobile device.

Use of Petri Nets to the Information Systems (페트리넷의 정보 시스템의 응용)

  • Petri nets have been used for medeling a wide variety of systems from computer to social systems. This paper disusses Petri nets in the context of mathematical representation and its associated bag theory. The method of modeling systems such as event-condition, computer progranm computer operation and PERT chart is discribed and their Petri net representation are presented. Finally Petri net representation of tunnel diode oscillator circuit and the analysis of the circuit using Petri net are discussed with the program and results.
