In this paper, we present a data dissemination protocol that guarantees energy-efficient data transmission and maximizes network lifetime. SPMS that outperforms the well-known protocol SPIN uses the shortest path to minimize the energy consumption. However, since it repeatedly uses the same path, maximizing the network lifetime is impossible. In this paper, we propose a protocol for data dissemination called the protocol Considering Between Energy and Distance (ConBED). It solves the network lifetime problem using the residual energy and the distance between nodes to determine a path for data dissemination. The simulation results show that ConBED guarantees energy-efficient transmission and increases the network lifetime by approximately 69% than that of SPMS.

In this paper, we propose an approach for extracting and filtering block motion vectors using an adaptive weight function. We first extract motion vectors from a sequence of images by using size-varibale block matching and then process them by adaptive robust estimation to filter out outliers (motion vectors out of concern). The proposed adaptive robust estimation defines a continuous sigmoid weight function. It then adaptively tunes the sigmoid function to its hard-limit as the residual errors between the model and input data are decreased, so that we can effectively separate non-outliers (motion vectors of concern) from outliers with the finally tuned hard-limit of the weight function. The experimental results show that the suggested approach is very effective in filtering block motion vectors.

This paper addresses a sliding mode control of vibration in a flexible structure using ER(electro-rheological) dampers. A clamped-clamped flexible structure system supported by two short columns is considered. Three ER dampers to be operated in shear mode are designed on the basis of Bingham model of the arabic gum-based ER fluid, and attached to the flexible beam structure. After deriving the governing equation of motion and associated boundary conditions, a sliding mode controller is formulated to effectively suppress the vibration of the beam structure caused by sinusoidal and random excitations. In the formulation of the controller, parameter variations such as natural frequency deviation are treated to take into account the robustness of control system. The effectiveness of the proposed control system is confirmed by both simulation and experimental results.

Sarcoidosis is a systemic inflammatory disease with granulomatous lesions, and cardiac involvement occurs in 20~60% of patients. Isolated cardiac sarcoidosis is extremely rare, and heart transplantation can be performed, if indicated, contingent upon the absence of systemic manifestations of the disease. We present a case of isolated cardiac sarcoidosis with progressive heart failure, which was successfully managed by heart transplantation.

Induction of A-V block by tachycardia is a well-known phenomenon. But there are few case reports of bradycardia-dependent A-V block. We report a case of bradycardia-dependent A-V block with review of literatures. This patient was a 52-year-old fe male who complained of dizziness and anterior chest discomfort. Electrocardiographic recording demonstrated complete A-V block. Monitor electrocardiographic recordings during sitting position and after atropine administration demonstrated decrease of degree of block from complete A-V block to first degree A-V block. The occurrence of complete A-V block for bradycardia during supine position suggests a phase 4-dependent block. After a permanent ventricular pacemaker was implanted, the patient recovered and was with out symptoms during 12 months follow up.

본 논문에서는 사이버무역의 활성화를 위한 산학협력 방안을 제시하기 위하여 무역업무의 새로운 패러다임인 무역자동화, 인터넷의 등장, 무역업무의 사이버화를 다루며, 사이버무역의 현황 및 전망에서는 사이버무역이 실제 무역업무에서 어느 정도 사용되고 있으며 사이버무역의 전망을 살펴보고 사이버무역의 발전가능성을 타진하여 사이버무역의 활성화를 위한 산학협력방안을 제시한다. 특히 산학 협력을 위한 방안중의 하나로 대학과 업체의 중계회사를 두어 대학에서 이를 운영하고 관리하여 업체에서 필요한 지식과 기술을 교과과정에 적용하고 이러한 교과과정을 통한 교육을 실시하여 업체에서 필요한 인력을 제공할 수 있도록 한다. 아울러 산업자원부 및 무역협회의 사이버무역인력 양성 프로그램과 호흡을 맞춰 산학협력을 위한 무역회사를 운영하고 이를 통한 이론과 실무를 함께 교육할 수 있는 기반을 마련하여 21세기 사이버무역의 기반을 제공 하고자 한다. 본 연구의 모델인 S사는 2000년 4월 설립된 회사이므로 부족한 점들이 많이 있어 이를 기반으로 산학협력을 위한 한 모델링(modeling)을 제시한다는 것이 다소 무리가 있지만, S사를 운영하면서 이를 통한 무역업체에서 요구하는 인력 및 교과과정의 조율을 통하여 미비하지만 사이버무역의 활성화에 일조하고자 하는 바램이다.

This paper aims to grasp the status of dispute and relevant issues, focusing on cases resolved by the Contents Dispute Resolution Committee. In consequence, this paper reviewed and addressed many issues like the mobile game of pre-school children, game disputes between telecommunication service providers and other domestic companies, responsibility of game-developing companies, necessity of efforts (led by the service providers) for establishing the system to prevent damage, and increase of awareness on damage redeemed by companies. Additionally, this study enables us to understand that the system of dispute resolution pays a pivotal role to help disputers resolve issues in a reasonable way and that self-imposed confidence is absolutely required in the mobile open market.

Over the world, the development of critical technology for the safety and security of coastal distribution based on ubiquitous computing is being processed to meet the bottom lines of governmental regulations. Currently, 3D detectors using X-rays for freight search technology are being developed concerning U-based shipping security systems. In addition to that, there are increasing needs for developing portable radiation detector to detect gamma rays. The purpose of the thesis is to suggest the research of high speed portable gamma rays detector platform to prevent disorder caused to humans and public objects.

HACCP procedures are regarded as essential components of modern safety assurance programs for all forms of food processing and preservation, including irradiation. Control of hazards and classification of hazardous microorganisms and indicator organisms (and related tests) are helpful to establish preventive and practice regulations at each facility. A carefully conceived and well implemented system assure the safety of all products. The HACCP is designed to prevent defects, rather than to detect them as in traditional end-point testing and inspection, as controlling requirements into food formulations, processing parameters and operating practices. This article commentes on some equipments and materials for HACCP system.

HARP(High performance Architecture for RISC type Processor)는 고유의 명령어 세트, 데이터 타입, 메모리 입출력, 예외 처리 기능을갖는 32비트 VLSI 프로세서 구조이다. 마이크로 아키텍츄어는 설계된 구조를 기대할 수 있는최고 성능을 갖도록 구조(architecture)와 구현(implementation) 사이의 최적 모델링을 통해 정의되는 구조체로서 구조의 개념 설계를 구현의 실물 설계로 변환 시켜주는 조율(tuning)모델이다. HARP의 고유한 명령어 세트를 비롯한 구조적 기능들을 최적 구현 하기위해 32비트 크기의 명령어 입력 유니트(Instruction Fetch Unit), 데이터 입출력 유니트(Data I/O Unit), 명령어/데이터 처리유니트(Instruction/Data Processing Unit), 예외 상황 처리 유니트(Exception Processing Unit)등 4개 유니트가 설계되었으며 이들 4개 유니트의 동작을 최대 속도로 유지시키기 위해 각급 주요 설계 변수들이 시뮬레이션을 통해 최적화 되었다. 유효 채널길이 $0.7\mum$급 3층 메탈 배선의 HCMOS(High performance CMOS)공정 기술을 구현 기준 기술로 사용하여 50MHz외 동작 주파수에서 최대50 MIPS(Million Instructions Per Second)의 성능을 갖도록 3단계 파이프라인이 설계되었다. 단일 위상의 50MHz클럭 입력과 동기화된 명령어/데이터 입출력을 위해 액세스 타임 20nsec이내의 고속 메모리 입출력 구조가 시뮬레이션되었으며 설계된 마이크로 아키텍츄어를 이용하여 HARP구조의 기대된 최대 성능을 검증하였다.
