지난 30여년 간 우리나라는 추격적인(catch-up)기술개발을 통해 효과적으로 선진국과의 기술격차를 좁히는데 성공하였다. 그러나 기술부문의 제조생산에는 큰 발전을 이룩하였음에도 불구하고, 원천기술(original technologies)의 기초가 되는 연구는 매우 미흡한 수준에 머물고 있다. 따라서 성장엔진으로서 새로운 기술을 창출할 수 있는 지식이 활발히 생산될 수 있는 여건을 조성하는 차원에서 과학기술정보인프라정책에 관심을 강화할 필요가 있다.

A series of $LiNbO_3$ single crystals were grown by the Czochralski method from a congruent melt, a congruent melt with 0.05 mol% $Fe_2O_3$, a congruent melt with 6 wt.% $K_2O$ and a congruent melt with 6 wt.% $K_2O$ and 0.05 mol% $Fe_2O_3$ respectively. The growth of $LiNbO_3$ crystal from a congruent melt 6 wt.% $K_2O$ leads to nearly stoichiometric specimens. This is established by studying the following properties; XRD patterns, temperature dependences of the phase transition temperature, energy of the fundamental absorption edge, the shape of the absorption band of the $OH^-$vibration and linewidths of the ESR of $Fe_{Li}^{3+}$.

Purpose of this study is to develop the proceeding strategies for establishing of the DMZ World Peace Park in Korea which is one of projects of the Park Geun-hye's Government. We basically dissolute the conflict between the South and North Korea, and we build the atmosphere reconciliations and cooperation between two Koreas, and go forward the peaceful unification. And thus we make ultimately the world peace and establish enduring peace in the Korean Peninsula. Through the analysis the 8 proceeding strategies. Results of this study, I verified possibility of proceeding for establishing of the DMZ World Peace Park, and urgent need of policy development and support by the local governments, and we need to start the project in the South first.

The purpose of this study is to identify important evaluation criteria that need to be prioritized by developing one for the campustown development project in Seoul. To achieve this, we examined the list of initial ideas for the project and selected the criteria that corresponds to the goal of the project. Moreover, we conducted AHP and preference survey to further refine the evaluation criteria. As a result, improvement of walking space and providing urban regeneration base space were found to be most important; utilizing high density mixed land use was rated as least important. Based on the findings, the proposed evaluation criteria can help the process of the project as guidelines. As initial evidence it can also guide us for a future development direction in between the completion of the first project and the start of the second stage of the project.

This study is to contribute to create favorable conditions for developing the new port in a timely and as well helps to propose role and establish status of incheon port in the future by reviewing port facility capacity of Incheon Newport, applied trigger rule reasonably. By applying trigger rule with annual growth rate(11.4%) between 2001 to 2009 rules it will be 18 berths reducing 2 years for completion date than annual growth rate(9.4%) forecasted by Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs. This paper first suggests the tri-ports policies including Incheon new port, Busan port and Gwang-Yang port and creating favorable conditions for the early completion and lastly attracting high valued-added transshipment cargo for developing incheon new port in a timely.

Langasite single crystal was grown by Xenon-arc floating zone method in mixutre of Af and $O_2$ gas atmosphere. Growing and rotation speed were 1.5 much and 15 rPm respectively. The grown crystal had a c-axis and color of orange. Composition of the grown crystal was $La_{3.10}Ga_{4.73}Si_{1.17}O_{14}$. Activation energy of the crystal was 0.23 eV and was PTC characteristics.
