  • The purpose of this study is to develop a new structural system for precast deck plate bridge. In order to investigate load distribution and composite effects by connecting diaphragms and precast deck plate to main girder with shear keys, computer analysis with F.E.M S/W package program ADINA was carried out. As results of analysis, the following could be concluded : -The distance between diaphragms with6m is suficient for crossing load distribution effects. -The composite effects by connection deck plate to main girder with shear key is reasonable. -The gap between deck plate and main girder under given load is negligible.

포항 대형산불지역 전소피해 시설물들의 피해특성분석

  • 본 연구는 2013년 3월 9일부터 3월 10일 동안 79ha의 산림피해와 110동의 시설물 피해를 준 포항산불에 대하여 산림 내 시설물들의 산불피해 특성분석을 위하여 현장조사를 실시하였다. 조사대상물은 전소피해를 입은 주택 10개소, 창고 1개소 등 총 11개소에 대하여 2013년 3월부터 5월까지 현지조사를 실시하였다. 조사항목은 시설물주변의 지형적 특성, 임상 및 이격거리, 수관화발생여부, 시설물의 재질 등 총 5개 항목에 대하여 피해특성을 분석하였으며, 전소지역의 피해 특성은 지형의 경우 골짜기막장형 지형, 주변임상은 침엽수, 임분밀도는 중임분, 산림과의 평균 이격거리는 3.1m, 산불의 종류는 수관화 발생지역 이었으며, 시설물의 재질은 슬레이트, 조립식 판넬인 것으로 조사되었다.

  • External prestressing method is the most papular method to strengthen concrete structures. The key parts of external prestressing method is an anchoring device which holds the prestressing cables. The most popular anchoring devices is an end bearing type, which has to be welded at site to assamble the anchor. The welding at site has a significant Quality problem. In this paper, new anchoring system has been developed, which needs no site welding. A design method for the new anchor has been proposed and developed to optimize the anchoring system. The developed anchors are very efficient, small, and compact, which have two types, one for abutment section and the other one for pier section. The anchors are expected to be used very widely, because of its convinience.

  • Fast construction of bridge structures is a new trend of bridge design. Accelerated bridge construction includes the construction of superstructures and substructures. In order to reduce the construction time for substructures, precast prestressed bridge piers are increasingly applied in other countries. One of the main concern in the design of precast piers is the determination of the axial prestress forces. The behavior of the piers should be investigated under service loadings and ultimate conditions. In this paper, the magnitude of prestress is calculated to control the stress at the joint of precast piers. Considering long-term behavior of prestressed piers, P-M diagrams for precast piers are obtained to verify the ultimate behavior of the piers. Based on these studies, precast piers are applied to the light-railway bridge piers.

  • Recently, modular construction has been begun to introduce actively for improvment of productivity in the construction industry. By the way, the construction technology is being IT through BIM. This is why modular construction needs BIM technology. In this study, we analyze the problems in the current modular construction at factory production stage. The way to extract 3D shop drawings using BIM is suggested to solve this problem.

  • 활선작업시 개폐섬락전압은 철탑형태와 작업유형에 따라 개폐섬락전압이 달리 나타나게 된다. 즉, 활선작업자의 위치, 철탑 종류 및 애자장치 종류 등에 따라 개폐섬락전압은 다르게 나타나기 때문에, 적용하고자 하는 활선공법이 있다면, 이에 대한 개폐섬락전압의 특성을 파악해 둘 필요가 있다. 점퍼V련은 일반적으로 선로의 수평각이 중각도 지역에 설치된다. 즉, 수평각이 너무 커서 조립식 점퍼장치를 설치할 수 없는 철탑에 점퍼V련 장치를 설치한다. 765kV 송전선로에서 실제 점퍼V련 장치가 많이 설치되어 있지 않으나, 이 경우에도 유지보수 사항이 발생할 수 있기 때문에 안전한 활선작업을 위한 실규모급 개폐섬락특성에 대해 검토할 필요가 있다.

  • An acoustic total or partial enclosure is widely used to reduce the sound pressure level propagating from a noise source. However, the performance of the acoustic enclosure is decreased by its inherent limitations such as temperature rise or acoustic pressure build-up inside the enclosed acoustic field. In this reason, an acoustic enclosure consisting of a silencer and absobent panels with acoustic resonators is studied to reduce the transmitted noise from a transformer. Large sound-attenuation is expected by applying the enclosure to the large transformers in a substation.

  • 최근 유가상승 및 환경오염으로 인하여 자동차 연비 개선에 대한 관심이 날로 증가하고 있어 자동차 제조사들은 다양한 접근방법을 통해 경량화를 달성하고자 하고 있다. 경량화 방법으로는 경량재료의 적용, 고강도 소재를 이용한 부품소형화, 조립식 파트의 일체형 모듈화 등이 있으며, 본 연구에서는 경량구조재료인 마그네슘 합금을 자동차용 스크롤 압축기에 적용하기 위하여 기존 알루미늄 합금부품과의 열팽창 및 열변형의 비교를 통해 마그네슘 합금 적용한 스크롤 부품의 설계시 고려되어야 할 요소들을 분석 및 제시하고자 한다.

  • Increasing the volume of traffic on the roads causes social and economical problems such as increasing air-pollution and distribution cost. Prefabricated light weight bridge becomes a possible solution for these problems in the urban area where it is difficult to construct new one or expend the existing road. There are some merits in this kind of bridge. First, the design live and dead loads are minimized by allowing only passenger cars. Second employing prefabrication construction scheme reduces the construction time. Third, there is no need to buy land if the elevation road is placed on the top of existing one. In seismic design of bridges, base isolation has been an effective solution when the bridge has stiff piers and a heavy superstructure. The prefabricated light weight bridge has different dynamic characteristics from the ordinary bridges. In this paper, the applicability of base isolators such as lead rubber bearing and elastomeric bearing, to prefabricated light weight bridge is examined.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the inelastic behavior of precast segmental prestressed concrete bridge columns. A computer program, named RCAHEST (Reinforced Concrete Analysis in Higher Evaluation System Technology), for the analysis of reinforced concrete structures was used. Material nonlinearity is taken into account by comprising tensile, compressive and shear models of cracked concrete and a model of reinforcing steel. An unbonded tendon element based on the finite element method, that can represent the interaction between tendon and concrete of prestressed concrete member, is used. A joint element is newly developed to predict the inelastic behaviors of segmental joints. The proposed numerical method for the inelastic behavior of precast segmental prestressed concrete bridge columns is verified by comparison with reliable experimental results.
