Economic Effect of Automatic Temperature Compensation (석유류제품 토출온도 보정에 따른 경제성 분석)

  • The importance of physical changes in volume due to changes in temperature has been known for more than a century by the petroleum industry. To examine whether there are any differences between the economic effect of automatic temperature compensation and that of installation cost. The results of the analysis show that there are no ineffective in automatic temperature compensation installation. Analysis showed the increase of price oil will impact negatively on the automatic temperature compensation, appropriate level of economic cost and economic benefit should be calculated for the policy implementation in the future's study.

Survey of Colorfastness of Korean Silk Fabrics (국내산 견직물의 염색견뢰도조사)

  • The color fastness of Korean silk fabrics was measured in this investigation. The sample fabrics under examination were divided into four groups, according to the processing cycle: 1) Plain dyeing(A-C) : 2) Yarn dyeing(D;E=Knitted fabric) ; 3) Direct printing(F-H) ; 4) Discharge Printing(I-P) : The following result can be obtained. Among the samples examined, both the plain-dyed(brilliant colours) and discharge-printed (put-in colours) fabrics show lower values of water, perspiration and ironing color fastness compared with those recommended by International Organization for Standardization(I. S. O.)

  • Rapid development of electronic technology has made it possible to perform various function. But this technology made it increase it's complexity. Therefore, It was important to identify usability problem in interface design. The quality of interface to promote the efficient interaction should be evaluated with regard to users' cognitive characteristics. So, in this paper, washing machine, that is one of the most useful electronic home application was studied menu structure on interface and it's operational states transition. At first, an cognitive menu structure is identified with users' conceptual similarity of the main function of washing machine. Then three washing machines was selected to compare with the cognitive menu structure. And, we were analyzed how operational state of the washing machine was transfered. As a result, we can be revealed that menu operational method based on the cognitive structure was consistent with the user's preferred operational method during the experimental tasks and the users and designers had a different knowledge of an it's function structure. These results will be useful to design the washing machine interface.

Comparative Analysis of Ginsenoside Content in Processed Red Ginseng Foods Based on Food Type and Formulation (홍삼가공식품의 식품유형별 및 제형별 진세노사이드 함량 비교)

  • Red ginseng is manufactured as a health-functional food and is also present in various food types and in different product forms. However, there is currently no standardized regulation of ginsenoside content in foods containing red ginseng. In the present study, we analyzed the ginsenoside content of 66 red ginseng-containing foods and 35 health-functional foods collected online and directly from the market. The ginsenoside content was assessed using liquid chromatography (LC) and liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) methods. The ginsenoside content of the various food types ranged 0.0 (not detected)-71.567 mg per daily intake of foods containing red ginseng. Sugar-preserved foods had the highest ginsenoside content, followed by solid teas, liquid teas, and red ginseng beverages. For health-functional foods, the ginsenoside content ranged 3.4-58.5 mg per daily intake, with levels ranging 83-607% of the indicated amounts. All values met the established standards. Upon comparing red ginseng health-functional foods and red ginseng-containing foods, the average ginsenoside content was determined to be 18.21 and 8.79 mg, respectively, thus being nearly twice as high in health-functional foods. However, there was a minimal difference between the ginsenoside content of red and black ginseng, with values of 11.84 and 12.63 mg, respectively. These findings provide insights on the variations in ginsenoside content of red and black ginseng in various food forms. This information is expected to be valuable for future regulations and consumer choice of products containing red ginseng.

  • Today, the growth of software industry leads to e quantitative expansion of software package products. Due to this rapid increase of software package products, qualify certification has been required fur software products which users select. Unlike the quality certification of industrial products, the history of software product certification has not been so long. For this reason, software quality evaluation and certification methods have not matured yet. When certifying software products, one of most important factors is the systematic generation of evaluation sets. The evaluation sets include checklists with metrics, and criteria for the software quality certification according to the classification of software product type. This paper presents a metamodel for the systematic generation and maintenance of the evaluation sets. Then, we construct prototype level evaluation sets to show the validity of the metamodel.

Purchaser's ability to choose a package software depends on whether they can judge that a package software conforms to the relevant standard through an objective quality test process and method or not. This study developed a system with which purchasers can effectively select a package software suitable for their needs, building quality test process for package software and developing test metric and application method.

  • Emerging three-dimensional television (3DTV) as a new IT product shows a possibility that television is not for just watching broadcasting, but an attractive tool for applying it to our real life. Three dimensional television is generally more effective and attractive than two-dimensional television (2DTV). But it still needs continuous technological improvement to solve its inherent limitations until many customers decide to purchase 3DTVs without hesitation. Innovative products like 3DTV encounter a quality problem leading purchase decision by customers. Quality is regarded as one of the most important factors affecting customers to adopt and use the product. Furthermore, measuring quality effectively is considerable for the 3DTV research. In this paper, we suggest the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP) method for evaluating 3DTVs in a view of quality. We describe quality criteria affecting the 3DTV selection through a literature survey and develope an analytical method for measuring quality. We classify the quality of 3DTV into four types and suggest a concept of the quality ratio as a measurement criteria instead of the quality gap. Though a numerical example, we show how priorities of 3DTV with versatile manufacturers is computed.

The Content of Minerals and Vitamins in Commercial Beverages and Liquid Teas (유통음료 및 액상차 중의 비타민과 미네랄 함량)

  • This study was done to analyze the contents of minerals and vitamins to compare the measured values of minerals, vitamins with labeled values of them in food labeling and to investigate the ratio of measured values to labeled values in 437 specimen with minerals and vitamins - fortified commercial beverages and liquid teas. Content of calcium and sodium in samples after microwave digestion was analyzed with an ICP-OES (Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometer) and vitamins were determined using by HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography). The measured values of calcium were ranged 80.3~142.6% of the labeled values in 21 samples composed calcium - fortified commercial beverages and liquid teas. In case of sodium, measured values were investigated 33.9~48.5% of the labeled values in 21 sports beverages. The measured values of vitamin C, vitamin $B_2$ and niacin were ranged 99.7~2003.6, 81.1~336.7, 90.7~393.2% of the labeled values in vitamins - fortified commercial beverages and liquid teas, 57, 12, 11 samples. To support achievement of the accurate nutrition label, there must be program and initiatives for better understanding and guidances on food labelling and nutrition for food manufacture.

An Analysis of Competitive Structure among Entertainment Industries, focusing on Consumption Motives (관람동기를 기준으로 한 엔터테인먼트 산업간 경쟁구조 분석에 관한 연구)

  • 본 연구는 동일 제품범주 내에서 상호 대체가능성(substitutability)을 중심으로 연구 되어 왔던 상표간의 사용상황 대체(substitution-in-use) 이론을 산업간 경쟁의 차원으로 확대하여 적용할 수 있는 가능성을 탐색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 소비자의 소비경험이 선택기준의 중요한 요소로 작용하는 서비스부문을 대상으로 소비자의 선택동기, 즉 소비동기의 차원에서 산업간 경쟁구조와 경쟁강도를 분석하고자 하였다. 연구의 범위는 마케팅 분야에서 비교적 소외되어 왔던 엔터테인먼트 부문, 특히 문화예술부문과 스포츠부문에 초점을 맞추었다. 연구방법으로는 이들간의 심리적 거리를 측정하여, 그 근접성의 정도에 따라 산업간 경쟁구조와 경쟁특성을 분석하였다. 분석도구는 그 동안 마케팅의 영역에서 특정 산업 내에의 상표간 경쟁구조를 연구하는데 이용되었던 심리적 거리측정도구를 이용하였다. 이에 따라 구매자의 사용목적에 따른 상표간 대체 가능성을 산업간의 심리적 근접성을 이용해 측정하고 그 거리의 크기에 따라 경쟁강도의 선택의 대체성을 분석하였다. 방법론적 측면에서는 먼저 엔터테인먼트산업, 문화예술과 공연예술산업, 그리고 스포츠 등의 소비동기 유형을 살펴본 후, 이들 중에서 중복가능성이 있는 동기유형을 선별하였다. 이에 따라 다양한 관람 엔터테인먼트산업에서 나타나고 있는 12개의 소비동기 유 형을 발견할 수 있었다. 이후 이렇게 추출된 동기유형을 대상으로 산업간 대체성을 심적 거리좌표를 이용하여 측정하고 측정된 자료를 다차원척도법(MDS)을 이용해 2차원의 공간 상에 투사하였다. 그리고 상호간의 근접성과 경쟁구조를 확인하고 분석결과에 대해 논의 하였다. 분석결과 엔터테인먼트 상품들간에는 근접성의 차원에서 서로 대체될 수 있음을 발견할 수 있었고 이는 이들이 동일한 시장을 대상으로 경쟁관계가 있음을 시사하는 것이다. 개별 관람동기 차원의 분석 결과, 관람 엔터테인먼트 소비자들은 동일한 관람동기를 서로 다른 많은 유형의 엔터테인먼트산업이나 공연예술, 문화예술상품, 쇼나 오락, 관람스포츠 등에 의해 해결하고 있음을 발견할 수 있었다. 본 연구에서 사용한 접근방법과 연구의 결과는 향후 간접적 관계에서 직접적 관계로 경쟁이 확대되는 많은 마케팅분야에 적용될 수 있을 것이다.

Site Selection using Port and Industry Clusters (제조산업의 항만클러스터 입지선정 모형에 관한 연구 - 수도권을 중심으로 -)

  • This paper aims to clarify if clustering effects among industries exist and if port-industry clustering effects exist. A knock-down approach was used in a survey and 16 industries were categorized. We defined which industry is more competitive in industry clusters and port-industry clusters. Another survey to experts was carried out to identify which industry is more appropriate to one of the three ports in Sudokwon (Seoul Metropolitan Areas): Incheon port, Pyungtaik port and Dangjin port. Five manufacturing industries are selected considering port-industry clustering relationships in this area and Analytic Hierarch Process was used for a pairwise comparison. Locational, social and economic factors are selected for 1st level. A result shows that Incheon port is more competitive in petroleum manufacturing, primary metal manufacturing and rubber and plastic manufacturing and Pyeontaik port is more competitive in metal assembly manufacturing and automobile and trailer manufacturing. However, sensitivity analysis shows a turnover of ranking in some industries. As there exist slight differences among three ports, cooperation is necessary when the government and Port Authorities make plans.
