인공위성 제품 보증 기술 동향

  • 제품보증은 크게 품질보증과 설계보증으로 구분될 수 있으며, 설계보증은 다시 신뢰성 보증, 전자 부품 및 재료 공정 관리, 오염 관리 등으로 구분된다. 품질보증의 경우에는 이미 여러 기업에서 보편적으로 적용되고 있는 개념이며, 항공우주 업계에서도 공인된 민간 인증 체계를 활용하고 있다. 반면 설계보증은 인공위성 등과 같이 운용 중 수리가 불가능한 시스템에서는 특별히 강조되어야 하는 활동이며 안정적인 위성 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 시스템의 개발 초기부터 체계적인 설계보증 활동이 수행되어야 한다. 이에 따라 각국은 관련 기술 정보를 공유할 수 있는 국가적인 체계를 구축하여 자국 기업들의 경쟁력을 향상시키고 있다. 후발 주자인 우리나라도 이러한 추세에 발맞추어 자체적인 제품보증 기술을 확립하고 국가적인 제품보증 기술 연구 체계를 구축하여 민간 기업의 위성 시장 진출을 촉진시키고 기존 위성 개발 업체의 대외 경쟁력을 높일 필요가 있다.

The Effect of Product Warranty Types on Consumers' Product Attitudes - Moderating Effect of Product Types and Manufacturer's Business Ethical Levels - (제품보증의 유형이 소비자의 제품에 대한 태도에 미치는 영향 - 제품유형과 제조업체 기업윤리 수준의 조절효과를 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of explicit and implicit product warranties on consumers' attitudes toward the products, and particularly, the main effects of product types and level of manufacturers' business ethics on the relationship between warranty types and consumers' attitudes. For this purpose, relevant literature was reviewed and thereupon, a survey was conducted for an empirical analysis. As a result of empirically analyzing the relationship between warranty types and consumers' attitudes and the main effects of the product types (search goods vs. experience goods) and level of business ethics (high vs. low) on the relationship, it was found that consumers' attitudes toward the products were more positive when the product warranty was explicit than when it was implicit, and that such relationship was stronger for experience goods than for search goods one. And, the relationship was stronger when the level of business ethics perceived was lower. However, such moderating effects were not significant for consumers' attitudes, but significant for their purchasing intention.

  • Space agencies such as NASA, ESA, and the US military provide guidelines and standards for PA(product assurance) requirements and plans. In recent years, major satellite manufacturers around the world have been mitigating PA requirements and processes by tailoring. PA tailoring has been implemented to improve the cost and schedule efficiency. PA tailoring can be accomplished based on various factors such as mission, classification of mission risk, complexity, development cost, life cycle, etc. In this study, PA tasks according to the mission risk classification proposed by NASA are investigated, and the tailoring method is suggested for the optimization of the development cost and schedule. In particular, the classification of mission risk for the satellites under development or operation in Korea is performed, and PA characteristics in accordance with mission risk are analyzed.

  • 최근 들어 시스템이나 부품에 대한 고객의 요구조건이 다양해지고 제품책임과 품질보증 등의 사회적 요구가 점차 엄격해지고 있다. 이에 기업에서는 위험을 줄이고 제품의 합리적인 정보를 얻기 위해 제품 관련 보증데이터 수집 시스템을 구축하고 분석과 예측을 위한 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 그러나 데이터 수집체계 구축에 많은 시간이 소요되고 데이터 유형에 따른 분석 방법에 익숙하지 못하여 데이터를 수집하고 분석하는 대에 어려움이 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 보증데이터의 분석방법에 대한 연구 동향과 적용 현황을 조사하고, 보증데이터를 통한 효과적 분석방법과 활용방안을 모색 하고자 한다.

  • This paper is concerned with product assurance for the secondary payload, which is used for technology and science research, in the satellite system, which consists primarily of the spacecraft and the primary payload (a high-resolution optical camera). The Korean satellite development program has successfully insured the safety of the spacecraft and primary payload. However, given the limits of budget and schedule, it is very important to establish adequate product assurance for the secondary payload, which has a lower priority than the spacecraft or primary payload. This paper studies the concept of product assurance for the secondary payload of technological and scientific equipment.

  • Quality assurance data is used to develop the strategy of the product since it is valuable for reliability assessment of the product. However, manufacturers don't take into account the life of the product but just produce WCR (Warranty Call Rate) which is monthly or quarterly claims per 1000 products in terms of table or graph. In this study we will consider how they analyse that kind of data and suggest an appropriate type of analysis which incorporates the life time of the product. Finally we emphasize that the appropriate type of analysis has to be merged into the.

  • 정보보호시스템 평가 인증 제도는 사용자들이 신뢰된 인증제품을 사용할 수 있도록 평가기준의 등급별 요구사항을 근거로 평가하여 정보보호시스템에 구현되어 있는 보안기능의 신뢰성을 보증하는데 있다. 본 연구에서는 정보보호제품의 시험 커버리지 보증을 위한 시험케이스 생성에 관한 연구로서, 평가기준에서 요구되는 시험 커버리지를 분석하고 이를 만족시키기 위한 시험케이스 생성 방법을 제시함으로써 보증성을 향상시키고자 한다.

  • 인공위성은 지상 시스템과는 달리 극한 발사환경 및 우주환경에 노출되고, 운용 중 수리가 불가능하며, 임무 실패에 따른 위험비용이 매우 크기 때문에 고신뢰성, 고비용의 부품, 장비 및 시스템을 채택하여 개념설계단계에서부터 신뢰성을 관리한다. 신뢰성 관리의 주요 목적은 설계변경 및 개발 사이클의 반복을 최소화하고, 개발비용을 절감하며, 시스템의 신뢰성을 향상시키기 위한 것으로서, 대부분의 우주시스템 개발 프로젝트에서는 제품보증(Product Assurance) 활동의 일환으로 수행된다. 제품보증 업무는 크게 품질보증, 신뢰성 관리, EEE 부품관리, 재료 및 공정(Material & Process) 관리, 오염관리, 소프트웨어 품질보증 등으로 구분되지만, 포괄적인 의미의 신뢰성 관리 범주에 이를 모두 포함시키기도 한다. 인공 위성의 개발과정에서 기술성능지표 중 하나로서 중점 관리되고 있는 시스템 신뢰성 관리의 세부기법, 프로세스, 개선 필요사항 등에 대하여 살펴보고자 한다.

A study on Product Assurance for development of Ka band Communication Payload System of COMS (통신해양기상위성의 Ka 통신탑재체 개발 제품보증 연구)

  • It is anticipated that quality assurance for the Ka band Communication Payload System(COPS) development program of the Communication, Ocean & Meteorological Satellite(COMS) may be a core technical factor to be concerned in order to avoid any failure, and to assure its performance during the mission lifetime in space. Those can be managed and verified and assessed by performing the Quality Assurance (QA) and risk management which helps to prevent and reduce the critical fails. This paper introduces the Product Assurance (PA) system and procedures for Ka band Communication Payload System which was established and performed during the Qualification Model (QM) manufacturing phase. In this paper, we present detailed process for the products manufactured by local companies according to PA procedures operated through whole phases from design to test of equipment. Also this paper shows Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and detailed their processes for assured the product quality manufactured by local companies.

Optimization of Improvement Level for Second-Hand Product with Periodic Maintenance Schedule (주기적인 유지보수 계획에 따른 중고제품에 대한 최적 향상수준)

  • Due to a growing demand for the second-hand product, especially for the expensive one, the warranty and maintenance policies for such products have been studied to improve the product reliability of late. In this paper we study a periodic maintenance model for the second-hand product which is purchased by the customer at the age of $x$. When purchased, the dealer provides a warranty of a fixed length during which the product is maintained periodically to reduce the failure rate of the product and thus, to improve the reliability after each maintenance is served. If a failure occurs between two successive maintenances, only minimal repair is conducted. As for the warranty policy, we adopt free non-renewing repair action on each failure, in addition to the periodic maintenance service during the warranty period. Thus, under the given warranty policy, all the maintenance and repair costs incurred during the warranty period are charged to the dealer. For the proposed periodic maintenance scheme, we formulate a cost model to evaluate the expected total cost charged to the dealer during the warranty period and derive an optimal upgrade level of the failure rate at each maintenance to minimize the expected total warranty cost from the perspective of the dealer. We also present numerical results for an optimal upgrade level based on the proposed methods.
