Study on Contents Development of the Local Information (지역 정보화 콘텐츠 개발에 관한 연구)

  • This study analyzed the local present status of Jechon which has growing-up potency of local information, is necessity and the characteristic of the local information for this area and the development scheme of contents is proposed for the local information based on the construction of the information infra. The development plan of contents on the local information is proposed for the field of administration, industry, life information, etc. Therefore such development plan of contents can be brought into much research to the contents development of the local information. In addition, it is expected to be lots of the public relations for the information city, sharing of information and that making more use of its applications. In addition, such plan is able to be contributed to the construction of information city for citizen's welfare and getting the competitively local power.

A Study Assessing Support Project of Korean Medical Treatment in Infertility in Jecheon (제천시 한방 난임 치료 지원 사업에 관한 연구)

  • Objectives : This study aims to assess whether Korean medical treatment in infertile couple is effective on clinical pregnancy. Methods : Korean medical treatment using herbal medicine, acupuncture and moxibustion was performed to thirty-one women and one man of infertility from March 2013 to April 2015. Results : After the treatment, nine patients (eight women and 1 man) of infertility became pregnant (28.13%) in thirty-two patients. In nine patients with pregnancy, five patients became spontaneous pregnant. Two patients became pregnant with in vitro fertilization (IVF), and other two patients became pregnant with intrauterine insemination (IUI). Factors influenced pregnancy assessed a shorter duration of infertility. After the treatment, survey of satisfaction in Korean medical treatment in infertility was done. Out of thirty-two patients, convenience and reliability of Korean medical treatment was reported by who had an experience of sterilization surgery. After the assessment, seven patients who had an experience of sterilization surgery and beame pregnant were having more convenience than twelve patients who were not pregnant despite sterilization surgery. Conclusions : This study suggests Korean medical treatment is useful for infertile women and men, in reverse proportion to shorter duration of infertility.

A survey on energy consumption and improvement method for energy conservation - Targeting dwellers in Jecheon city - (사례연구 설문조사에 의한 주택에서의 에너지소비 실태조사와 개선방안 연구 - 제천시 거주 주민을 대상으로 -)

  • With the architectural energy saving technique such as building insulation, airtightness etc., changing the indoor temperature and shortening the air conditioning time etc. are the good methods to practice energy saving in our lives. This study aims to seek a way to realize energy saving under investigation through a questionnaire survey about energy consumption condition and energy saving perception. 93% of the respondents recognized the need for energy saving, and 67% said more energy saving would possible in homes. Viable energy saving way was questioned by five steps method. More than 50% responded 'possible' or 'seems possible' at most of the items. Whereas less than 50% responded 'possible' or 'seems possible' at the items of 'lessening the cooling time' and 'lessening the shower time'. Ages of 50s who responded 'possible' or 'seems possible' was relatively less compared to 30s and 40s.

Geological Structures of the Southern Jecheon, Korea: Uplift Process of Dangdusan Metamorphic Complex and Its Implication (옥천대 제천 남부의 지질구조: 당두산변성암복합체의 상승과정과 그 의미)

  • Keumseong area in the southern part of the Jecheon city, the Ogcheon Belt, consists of Precambrian Dangdusan Metamorphic Complex, Dori Formation of the Choseon Supergroup, and Jurassic Jecheon Granite. The Dangdusan Metamorphic Complex consists of quartz schist, mica schist. quartzite and pegmatite. The Dori Formation is composed of mainly laminated limestone. The rocks in the study area have been undergone at least three phases of deformations since Paleozoic period. The Dangdusan Metamorphic Complex is outcrop at three areas in the study area, which are exposed along the faults and occurred as inlier within the Dori Formation. Previous authors interpreted the uplift of the Dangdusan Metamorphic Complex by the Dangdusan Fault, but we could not find any evidences related to the Dangdusan Fault. Thus, we interpret the uplift of the Dangdusan Metamorphic Complex due to the D$_2$ Weolgulri and Dangdusan thrusts and post-D$_2$ Jungbodeul, Kokyo and Jungjeonri faults. The uplift of the Busan Metamorphic Complex to the west of the study area was interpreted by ductile deformation. However, the Dangdusan Metamorphic Complex is formed by brittle thrusts and faults in this study. According to deformation sequence, the characters of deformations in the Choseon and Ogcheon suprergroups had been changed from ductile to brittle deformations through the time. Therefore, we interpret the Dangdusan Metamorphic Complex is exposed later than the Busan Metamorphic Complex.

Correlation Analysis of Non-Point Pollution Source with Initial Rainfall in Urban (도시배수유역에서의 초기강우조건에 따른 비점오염원 상관성 분석)

  • 우리나라의 최근에 개발된 신도시나 신시가지를 제외한 대부분이 합류식 하수관망으로 구성되어 있다. 이에 따른 초기강우시 도시 인접하천으로 유입되는 유출수가 수질오염을 가중시키고 있다. 분류식 하수관이 설치된 지역이라도 강우에 의해 도시지역 노면에서 우수관을 통해 하천으로 배출되며 유출수 자체도 오염물질 농도가 높고 유해물질까지 함유하고 있는 경우가 많다. 그러므로 도시하천에 대한 종합적인 수질관리를 위해서는 점오염원뿐만 아니라 초기강우시 도시 유출수의 수질 및 오탁부하량 등 비점오염원에 대한 기초조사 및 해석이 선행되어야 한다고 판단된다. 따라서, 이 연구에서는 도시하천의 초기강우에 의한 유출수의 수질특성을 분석하기 위하여 홍제천, 중랑천, 남가좌배수구역 및 군자배수구역 등 4개 도시유역에서 직접 시료를 채취하여 각 수질항목에 대하여 분석하였다. 수질분석은 환경오염공정시험법이나 표준시험법에 준하였고, 현장에서 실측이 가능한 항목들은 현장에서 측정하였으며, 나머지 항목은 시료를 즉시 실험실로 운반하여 분석하였다. 홍제천은 1996년 8월부터 1997년 9월까지 5개 강우사상의 자료를 분석하였고, 중랑천은 2001년 5월부터 2005년 4월까지 7개 강우사상, 남가좌배수구역은 1995년 7월에서 1997년 9월까지 5개 강우사상, 그리고 군자배수구역은 2005년 4월부터 2007년 9월까지 11개 강우사상에 걸쳐 수질분석을 실시하였다. 분석된 수질자료를 이용하여 도시지역의 초기강우에 의한 초기유출수와 수질의 관계를 분석 비교 하였으며, 또한, 초기유출수에 따른 비점오염원별 상관성을 분석하여 유량 측정을 통하여 보다 손쉽게 총 오염부하량을 산출 할 수 있도록 비유량과 SS, $BOD_5$, COD 등의 수질성분간의 상관계수와 회귀식을 도출하여 이들 상관식으로부터 유량변화에 따른 수질성분의 예측에 활용토록 하였다. 그러나, 외삽구간의 유량에 대한 수질 예측 결과에는 큰 오차가 있을 수 있으므로, 보다 다양한 유량에 대한 수질관측자료로 보완된 상관식의 개발로 극복되어질 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. 이 연구의 성과는 도시유출에서 수질과의 상관성과 도시하천의 유량 수질관리에 유용한 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Asbestiform Tremolite Formed by Chert-Dolomite Reaction and Its Morphological Characteristics (처트-백운석 반응에 의한 석면상 투각섬석의 생성과 형태적 특성)

  • Diagenetic black chert nodules occur in the Paleozoic dolostone in Susan, Jecheon, Korea. They reacted with dolomite to form alteration rim around the nodules during the contact metamorphism probably related to the intrusion of biotite granite. In the earlier stage of alteration, talc and calcite replaced both the chert and dolomite, which were subsequently replaced by tremolite. Significant mass of tremolite occurs along the horizon enriched with chert nodules. Scanning electron microscopy and optical microscopy of the tremolite specimens revealed the elongated morphology of diverse aspect ratios coexisting in several mm scale. Non-asbestiform tremolite columns were also common as well as asbestiform fibrous bundles. Quantitative estimation of asbestos should be more cautious for naturally occurring materials because all the tremolite particles in the outcrop are not asbestiform. The occurrence of asbestiform tremolite in the Susan area indicates that a combination of chert-bearing dolostone, heat source, and aqueous fluids is one of the geological environments for the formation of asbestiform tremolite.

Estimation of Tropospheric Zenith Delay over the Seoul-Jecheon area using GPS (GPS를 이용한 서울-제천 지역의 대류층 천정 지연 평가)

  • The estimation of tropospheric zenith delay over the Seoul-Jecheon area using GPS is presented. Over the past ten years, the world-wide industrial nations have been intensively concerned over increasing GPS surveyings in the various fields of earth science. To preserve precise positioning under various weather conditions, relationships between tropospheric zenith delay and GPS accuracy are analyzed. GPS accuracies are compared with tropospheric zenith delay produced by Bernese 4.0 software. Errors of tropospheric delay are 20cm in mean and reduced up to 5cm when tropospheric correction models are used. Correlation between error of GPS and tropospheric zenith delay plays a positive role to monitor the migration of weather front in the established Korean GPS network.

Case study on Dental Hygiene Care Program with the Focus on Non-surgical Periodontal Treatments with the Maternal and Child Health Center (일부 보건소 모자보건실 연계 비외과적 치주처치 중심의 치위생관리 프로그램 운영 사례연구)

  • This research was conducted by targeting pregnant women in the trial operation of dental hygiene care program with the focus on non-surgical periodontal treatments at the Maternal and Child Health center in the public health center. This study was conducted to provide basic data to dental hygienists who operate oral health promotion programs by targeting pregnant women of the local community through the evaluation on structure, the assessment process and results from the pilot program at the public health center. The targets are nine pregnant women who have been involved in the Dental hygiene care program three times. An evaluation on the structure, process and results according to the Indicators of each program were conducted. The results of dental hygiene care program found that the retention rate decreased. The retention of the probing pocket depth larger than 4mm was 40.4% to 14.0%(p<0.05). The retention rate of the gingival bleeding teeth was 4.6% to 2.7% (p=0.180). PHP Index improved. 1.7 points in the 1st to 1.4 points in the 3rd in the case of the second pregnant woman and 2.4 points in the 1st to 1.3 points (p<0.05) in the 3rd in the case of the third pregnant woman. The applicable and expandable possibility of the dental hygiene care program with the focus on non-surgical periodontal treatments at the Community Health Center is significant in the result of this study. In the future, long-term operation and ongoing monitoring of this program is needed.

Analysis of Erosion and Deposition by Debris-flow with LiDAR (지상 LiDAR를 이용한 토석류 발생에 의한 침식, 퇴적량 측정)

  • The intensive rainfall over 455 mm occurred between on 9 to 14 July 2009 triggered debris flows around the mountain area in Jecheon County. We mapped the debris flow area and estimated the debris flow volume using a high resolution digital elevation model (DEM) generated respectively from terrestrial LiDAR (Light Detection And Ranging) and topographic maps. For the LiDAR measurement, the terrestrial laser scanning system RIEGL LMS-Z390i which is equipped with GPS system and high-resolution digital camera were used. After the clipping and filtering, the point data generated by LiDAR scanning were overlapped with digital map and produced DEM after debris flow. The comparison between digital map and LiDAR scanning result showed the erosion and deposition volumes of about $17,586m^3$ and $7,520m^3$, respectively. The LiDAR data allowed comprehensive investigation of the morphological features present along the sliding surface and in the deposit areas.
