Simulation Analysis for Job Sequences in a Packaging Film Manufacturing Plant (포장용 필름 제조공장의 작업 우선순위 결정을 위한 시뮬레이션 분석)

  • The packaging plastic manufacturing(blown film) industry has long developed in China, but most of them are small/medium-sized enterprises, and it is very rare to have appropriate operation plans suitable for their own business. The packaging plastic manufacturing industry(blown film) follows a typical Make-To-Order method, and the sequence of processing orders is very important. Waste of materials incurred by frequent conversions of production cannot be avoided, and generally, related costs incurred during conversion production are also different. Therefore, this study developed a job sequence determination model for improving operating profits using @RISK simulation software, compared and analyzed 3 actionable clustering treatment methods proposed by technical managers and field experts under the actual situation of the factory.

  • 다양한 기계적인 제거 가공 공정에 있어서 발생되는 열의 냉각과 치핑 과정시의 원활한 윤활 및 칩의 효율적인 배출 작용 등을 위하여 필수적으로 적용되는 절삭유와 관련한 분야에 있어서 최근에 환경성과 경제성을 고려한 청정 생산 기술의 도입이 전 세계적으로 활성화되면서 사용량을 억제하거나 대체화하는 방식과 폐절삭유의 발생을 저감화하기 위한 수명 향상 방식 등을 위한 관련 연구들이 경쟁적으로 진행되고 있다. 그러나 현재까지 불가피하게 수용성 절삭유를 일반적으로 사용하는 국내 중소기업 형태의 영세한 생산 제조 작업 현장에 있어서는 비산, 분무되는 절삭유에 의하여 작업 환경이악화될 뿐만 아니라 점진적으로 부패되어 악취가 발생됨으로써 작업자가 기피하거나 산업 재해의 원인으로서도 작용되므로 우선적으로 절삭유의 사용량을 억제하기 위하여 최소한의 적정량만을 적용할 수 있는 기법을 채택하거나 절삭유의 수명을 극대화하기 위하여 적정한 상태를 유지할 수 있는 방식이 요구된다.(중략)

  • 현재 ISO 에서는 공구제조업체에서 해당 공구의 수전달 진동을 측정하여 제시하도록 하는 규격을 제정 중에 있으며, 이를 위해서는 공구에서 발생하는 진동과 영향을 평가하는 기술이 확보되어야 하며, 이 과정에서 측정 불확도 수준을 결정하는 것이 매우 중요하다고 하겠다. 본 연구에서는 동력 공구 작업시 작업자의 손으로 전달되는 진동을 측정하고 그 영향을 평가함에 있어서 발생할 수 있는 불확도를 분석하였다. 먼저, ISO 5349 규격을 적용함에 있어서 존재하는 불확도 인자들을 분류하고, 각 인자들이 어느 정도 수준의 불확도를 발생시키는지 시험을 통해서 확인하고 분석하였다.

  • 코팅제는 다양한 산업 분야에서 중요성이 더욱 커지고 있으나 실제 제조업체에서는 여전히 작업자의 경영에 의존하여 배합공정을 수행하는 실정이다. 본 논문에서는 R과 실험계획법을 이용하여 코팅제 배합 공정을 분석하기 위한 프레임워크를 제안한다. 제안된 프레임워크를 통한 분석 결과는 보다 정량적인 작업 기준 데이터를 확보하고 작업 현장에 제공함으로써 코팅제 배합 공정을 개선시킬 수 있다. 특히 정확한 배합 기준이 되는 표준 데이터의 부재로 인한 품질 저하와 원가 손실을 감소시키고, 배합 공정에서 발생한 오차 데이터에 대하여 R과 실험 계획법을 이용한 분석을 통하여 표준 보정 관계식을 도출함으로써 차후 발생 가능한 오차에 대한 대응 방안을 제시할 수 있다.

  • Recently a method of constructing architectural products using additive manufacturing technology has been proposed. The additive manufacturing technology automates the construction process and it can secure the safety of workers. In addition, due to the high implementation efficiency of atypical shapes, the applicability to the manufacturing process of buildings and infrastructure is drawing attention. Additive manufacturing technology has the ability of satisfying computer-based construction automation, resource management and construction period prediction which is required in the modern construction industry. However, the industrial application is still limited by insufficient data, standards, regulations, and operating methods. In this study, in order to analyze the applicability of architectural additive manufacturing technology, we manufacture each architectural product with two additive manufacturing systems. In addition, we apply an application of each building product into an appropriate manufacturing system through the AM production decision model. And identify problems in the manufacturing process through empirical experiments. As a result, we propose an extended additive production decision model to improve the quality of building products.

  • Based on the ergonomic evaluation of workers in the domestic traditional Korean sweet manufacturer, one of the small scale agricultural product manufacturers, the purpose of this study is on estimating the specific works and muscles that have possibility of musculoskeletal disorder through an EMG experiment for quantitative evaluation. The method followed in an order: works that have musculoskeletal disorder risk were extracted through ergonomic assessment tools, RULA and REBA, and then EMG experiment on the postures was carried out with six healthy adult male patients. As an ergonomic evaluation result, work posture during the drying process had the greatest musculoskeletal disorder risk, and EMG activity in the cleansing work posture scored the highest among the drying, cleansing, and coating work postures. In particular in the drying work, relatively high EMG activities were shown in the two muscles in the lower body: biceps femoris muscle, and gastrocnemius, than any other muscles. Therefore, during the traditional Korean sweet workplace design in future, the workplace requires a posture that deeply bow wrist for a long time should be avoided.

Study on Safety Management Plan through Chemical Accident Investigation in PCB Manufacturing Facility Etching Process (PCB 제조시설 에칭공정 화학사고 조사를 통한 안전관리 방안 연구)

  • Although the number of chemical accidents has been declining since the Chemical Control Act of 2015, there have been repeated occurrences of similar types of accidents at printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing facilities. These accidents were caused by the overflow of hydrochloric acid and hydrogen peroxide, which are toxic chemicals used in the printed circuit board manufacturing process. An analysis of the $Cl^-$ content to identify the cause of the accident showed that in the mixed route of hydrochloric acid and hydrogen peroxide, which are accidental substances, the $Cl^-$ concentration was 66.85 ppm in the hydrogen peroxide sample. Through reaction experiments, it was confirmed that the deformation of a PVC storage tank and generation of chlorine gas, which is a toxic gas, occurred due to reaction heat occurring up to $50.5^{\circ}C$. This paper proposes a facility safety management plan, including overcharge, overflow prevention, leak detection device, and separation tank design for mixing prevention in printed circuit board manufacturing facility etch process. To prevent the recurrence of accidents of the same type, the necessity of a periodic facility safety inspection and strengthening of the safety education of workers was discussed.

  • This paper introduces the state definition and diagnostic algorithm for autonomic control of manufacturing facilities. Smart factory systems through cyber-physical systems and digital twin technology are increasing the productivity and stability of existing manufacturing plants, which has become an issue recently. A Smart factory system is one of the key technologies that make up a smart factory system, to improve productivity, enable workers to make better decisions, and to control abnormal process flows. However, performing an autonomic control process based on large number of integrated plat data requires significant advance work. Therefore, in this paper, we define an abstracted facility state for manufacturing facility autonomic control and propose an algorithm to diagnose the current state. This makes the autonomic control process simpler by autonomic control based on the facility status rather then integrated facility data.

  • Additive manufacturing (AM, also known as 3D printing) technology gets attention for various effects in the construction industry. It reveals abilities of process automation, high traceability of resource management, construction period precision improvement, and worker safety. However, unlike the existing construction technology, the development of AM construction process causes trial errors and unpredictable accidents. In the present study, the construction AM process is designed for on-site construction, and it performs with empirical tests. Also, we analyzed the causes of qualitative experimental results.

  • Poly(N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone) (PVP) has been used as biocompatible and biodegradable polymer in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and electronics. Micro-particles of PVP were produced using an aerosol solvent extraction system (ASES). Dichloromethane (DCM) and supercritical carbon dioxide were used as solvent and antisolvent, respectively. The mean diameter of the obtained polymer particles ranged from 0.184 to $0.249\;{\mu}m$. The relationship between particle size and initial drop size was also considered.
