  • The goal of rehabilitation after ACL reconstruction are return the patient to a reinjury level of activity with stable joint, removing pivot shift phenomenon, preservation of meniscus, restoration of range of motion, and minimize patello-femoral complication. The ACL reconstruction should avoid immediate surgery. The preoperative phase emphasizes two important factors. (1) The patient should have a resolution of knee swelling, a return of full ROM, and a normal gait. (2) The patient should be mentally prepared for the operation and subsequent rehabilitation. The postoperative rehabilitation program emphasizes extension, closed kinetic chain function exercises. The regular follow-up is important.

Reactive Extraction of Succinic Acid by Amino Extractants and Comparison of Extraction Characteristics of Maleic Acid (아민계 추출제를 이용한 숙신산의 반응추출 및 말산과의 추출특성 비교)

  • Succinic acid is of interested as the raw material of biodegradable polymer. In this study, succinic acid was separated by reactive extraction using amine extractants such as TOA (trioctylamine) and Aliquat 336. The extractability of TOA for succinic acid was higher than that of Aliquat 336. The distribution of succinic acid into organic phase was decreased with increasing pH in aqueous phase. However, the effect of pH on the extractability of Aliquat 336 was little. In the case of maleic acid which has similar structure to succinic acid, the extractability for maleic acid was higher than that for succinic acid. It was mainly due to the difficulty of deprotonation of second carboxylic group by intramolecular hydrogen bonding.

  • Length of staircase get longer and evacuation load get heavier in proportion to the building height. Therefore evacuation time could be considered proportional to square of building height. While smoke spreads vertically so rapidly, evacuation speed is too slow, therefore the reasonable measure for the safe of egress route is urgent. Existing pressurizing smoke control system of vertical exit route is seriously limited in function under the stack effect in winter. Stack effect in winter could be overcome with the methods of opening the staircase outward or letting airflow be free between staircase and outside.

  • In Part II, the temperature and smoke particle distributions of the extraction system, which yielded the best smoke removal performance among the three smoke control systems in Part I, for extraction flowrates of 0.6∼2.4 ㎥/s and two fire sizes of 200 ㎾ and 2 ㎿ were presented. The same numerical method was utilized to the same computational domain and configurations as Part I. It was shown that the extraction flowrate affects the smoke control performance significantly, and that a similar trend in improving the smoke removal performance with the increasing extraction flowrate between the two fire sizes. An extraction flowrate of 2.4 ㎥/s or higher was required for the temperature in the escape route less than $^{\circ}C$ for the given situations.

  • In this paper, zero-energy house in order to monitor the energy savings come with Zigbee communication temperature humidity, smoke detection, illumination and CO2 to develop complex sensor board a protocol for handling about it dealt. In particular, indoor space to mount the sensor based on the location of the control algorithm, so it varies through the Zigbee wireless sensor mounting position is free, and the advantage of being able to change. Also, the energy loss that occurs through the window can be reduced to the room lighting can play an important role in the control system.

  • 소방청 국정감사에서 2020년 전국 자동화재속보설비 화재신고 32,764건 가운데 32,685건이 오작동으로 출동해 소방서 출동의 99.8%가 헛걸음이었다. 그리고 화재가 발생할 경우 화재경보장치와 대피경로를 안내하는 비상등이 미흡하고, 화재 연기가 제거되지 않아 대피가 힘들어질 뿐만 아니라 미처 대피 못한 인원을 파악하는 등의 신속한 대처가 힘들다. 본 논문은 화재 상황에서 피해를 최소화하기 위한 '스마트 화재 안전 시스템' 기술을 제안한다. 화재가 발생할 경우, 대피 경로를 안내하는 유도등 작동 및 경보음과 LED의 작동으로 화재발생을 경고하여 신속한 대처를 할 수 있게 도와주고, 문과 창문의 자동 개방 및 환기팬 작동으로 인한 유해가스를 환기시켜 준다. 그리고 스프링클러 작동과 소화제를 자동 분사하여 화재의 번짐 등 2차 피해를 예방하여 준다. 또한, 자동 신고 기능으로 더욱 빠르게 화재를 진압할 수 있게 도와주기 때문에 피해를 최소화할 것이다.

  • "Law on price announcement for real estate" which was revised as of Jan. 19, 2016 (will be enforced as of Sep. 1, 2016) decided the introduction of 'Price announcement system for non-residential property' for the first time. However, its introduction seems to be delayed based on two reasons. Firstly the methodology for introduction of non-property system is not definitized, despite many problems were brought up for current tax base of non-residential property. In addition, changes in tax base will place a burden on the government. In this regard, this study analyzed actual transaction price data throughout one year to analyze equity of taxation for non-residential property and to find major factor which affects on the tax base, in relation with the change of current public announcement system to actual transaction based system. And this is the first study that applied actual transaction price to non-residential property.

  • Regulation of Escape and fire-prevention of Building of South Korea were enacted as a part of building codes in 1962. Since it was enacted, the law has gone through many changes. In this study, evaluated the fire safety of the law about the case of a hotel that the fire risk are expected to be higher whenever it was changed. As a result, the current law has gotten better in tire safety since it was enacted. However, especially it could be confirmed that the evacuation safety is insufficient in the lower level of hotel building. In the case of accommodation, because the occupants become aware of fire lately, they have not enough time to escape. Therefore, this study suggests that it is needed to come up with an effective counterplan about the interior finish materials, fire door and fire compartments that the smoke layer descending time is longer.

  • Succinic acid is an important material in industries producing biodegradable polymers, food and pharmaceutical products, and green solvents. Furthermore, succinate fermentation is a novel process due to the fixation of $CO_2$ into succinate during fermentation. However, the impurities in fermentation broth make the separation process of succinic acid be difficult. Reactive extraction has been proposed to be an effective primary separation step of succinic acid from dilute fermentation broth. This article presents the principles of reactive extraction along with the characteristics of tertiary amino extractants. A brief overview on the current research on reactive extraction of succinic acid is presented. Finally, for the succinic acid separation, reactive extraction as a primary step is suggested in the whole downstream process for succinic acid from fermentation broth.

Numerical Analysis on Pressurization System of Smoke Control in Consideration of Stack Effect (연돌효과를 고려한 급기가압 제연시스템의 수치해석 연구)

  • When the pressurization system that uses difference of pressure for smoke control is designed, the factors influencing on the pressure field in building should be applied to design process and the stack effect is one of the main factors. Numerical analysis based on network model in 20-story building is carried out to analyze the pressurization system of smoke control in consideration of stack effect. Calculations are conducted for three conditions, that is, stack effect only, pressurization only and stack effect plus pressurization. Results including the detailed pressure field and flow rate at each floor are represented and the stack effect are effectively visualized. Meanwhile, the pressure of stairwell is increased as much as the summation of the stack effect and pressurization, and the problem induced by rise of pressure is pointed out.
