BLAC Drive System for Electro-Magnetic Brake (Electro-Magnetic Brake를 위한 BLAC 구동시스템)

  • The electric braking system obtains its braking force by a motor instead of the hydraulic brake which has been used in conventional automobile systems. Electric braking system is consisted of fewer numbers of components than hydraulic braking system, and it has effects of improved response and reduced braking distance for the ABS(Anti-lock Brake System) and ESC(Electronic Stability Control). This paper presents the BLAC motor drive system for Electro-Magnetic Brake(EMB). Proposed control system consists of the power converter for driving a motor and the digital control system for speed control, and the vector control is applied for fast torque response. It is verified through the simulation using Matlab/Simulink and experiment that the proposed BLAC drive system can be applied to EMB.

Vibration Test of a Full-Scale Five-Story Structure with Viscoelastic Dampers: Damper Design and Test for Response (점탄성 감쇠기가 설치된 실물크기 5층 건물의 진동실험: 감쇠기의 설계 및 응답실험)

  • This paper presents a design procedure for viscoelastic dampers to be installed in a full-scale steel structure and observes their vibration control effect, based on the excitation method and the dynamic characteristics of the structure investigated in the companion paper, Additional damping ratios required to reduce the maximum displacement to a given level were obtained by convex model. The size of dampers was determined by observing the change in modal damping ratio due to the change in damper stiffness using the modal strain energy method, The effect of the supporting braces was also considered in the determination of the modal properties. Two viscoelastic dampers were installed at the first and second inter-stories, respectively and their response reduction is verified.

  • The purpose of this study is to propose damper system which is easy to design, which can ensure against risks, and to verify earthquake response characteristics. For this study, the pseudo dynamic earthquake response tests carried out for steel frames with metallic damper. As a result, in case of using the metallic damper as a vibration control device proposed by this study, the damper having higher stiffness than main-structure turned to the state of plasticity by little displacement has been proved to be able to absorb earthquake energy.

  • 본 논문에서는 PSCAD/EMTDC 프로그램을 통해 HVDC 제어기를 설계하였다. HVDC 제어기는 컨버터의 운전모드에 따라서 인버터 제어기와 정류기 제어기로 나뉘며, 인버터 제어기는 전류제어기, 전압제어기, 소호각 제어기로 구현하고, 정류기 제어기는 전류제어기 및 전압제어기로 구현하였다. HVDC V-I 특성곡선에 VDCOL을 적용하여 전압에 따른 전류의 의존 특성을 반영하였다. ac 계통 단상 지락 고장, 3상 지락 고장에 대해 시뮬레이션하여 설계한 제어기의 정상상태 및 과도상태시 응답성능을 검증하였다.

  • 비례-적분(PI) 제어기 출력이 포화되었을 때, 와인드업(windup) 현상이 나타나게 되는데 이것은 큰 오버슈트 및 느린 응답 특성으로 이어지게 되어 제어기의 성능 저하를 야기한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위해서 새로운 방식의 Anti-windup PI제어기를 이용하여 IPMSM 구동에 있어 오버슈트 및 정착 시간 단축과 같은 제어 성능이 개선되었음을 보여준다.

Vibration Control of Asymmetric Buildings Using Viscoelastic Dampers (점탄성 감쇠기를 이용한 비대칭 건물의 진동제어)

  • 본 연구에서는 진동제어를 목적으로 강성이 비대칭적으로 분포된 구조물에 점탄성 감쇠기를 설치할 경우 비틀림 응답을 줄이기 위한 감쇠기의 효과적인 배치방법에 관하여 연구하였다. 비대칭 구조물의 응답에 미치는 점탄성 감쇠기의 효과를 알아보기 위하여 비대칭 비비례감쇠시스템의 특성방정식을 유도하고, 고유치해석을 통해 감쇠기가 설치된 비틀림 건물의 거동특성을 파악하였다. 이를 바탕으로 강성 편심 및 진동수비에 따른 최적 감쇠 편심을 찾아 이를 3차원 그래프로 나타내었다. 이를 이용하여 비대칭건물에 감쇠기를 설치했을 때 같은 양의 감쇠기를 대칭으로 설치하였을 때 보다 그 효과가 더욱 향상되는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 비대칭 건물의 비틀림제어면에서 점탄성 감쇠기가 점점 감쇠기보다 우수한 것으로 나타났다.

Design of the PD Controller in the I-PD Control System for Position Control (위치제어를 위한 I-PD제어계에서 PD제어기의 설계)

  • Since high speed and precision control shoud be satisfied in the position control system, the DC servo motor with easy control and satisfactory response characteristic is used. The various studies of position control techniques have been proposed in order to improve the control performance in the position control system. In this paper, the design method for a position control is suggested for constructing the PD controller in I-PD control system. The coefficients of PD controller in the I-PD control system are determined by using the transfer function which is normalized. Stability and root conditions of the system are derived from mathematical technique. From the result of computer simulation in I-PD control system by applying this control technique, is investigated by the method of proposed design the effectiveness of system response characteristic for input and disturbance.

Vibration Control of Adjacent Buildings using a Smart Sky-bridge (스마트 스카이브릿지를 이용한 인접건물의 진동제어)

  • In this study, a smart sky-bridge composed of MR damper and FPS has been proposed and vibration control performance of a smart sky-bridge for the connected buildings was investigated. To this end, 10-story and 20-story building structures connected by a smart sky-bridge were selected as example structures and El Centro and Kobe earthquakes, which have near and far fault ground motion characteristics respectively, were used for time history analyses. In order to effectively control the smart sky-bridge, fuzzy logic controller was developed and multi-objective genetic algorithm was used to optimize fuzzy logic controllers. Based on optimization results, it has been seen that there is a trade-off between seismic responses of 10-story and 20-story buildings and a suite of Pareto optimal solutions of fuzzy logic controllers for seismic response control can be obtained by multi-objective genetic algorithm. It is shown from numerical study that seismic responses of adjacent buildings can be efficiently controlled by using a smart sky-bridge.

  • In this paper, a new discrete-time small signal model of an average current mode control is proposed to predict the inductor current responses. Compared to the peak current mode control, the analysis of the average current mode control is difficult because of its presence of an compensation network. By utilizing sampler model, a new discrete-time small signal model is derived and used to predict the behaviors of an inductor current of average current mode control employing generalized compensation networks. In order to show the usefulness of the proposed model, prediction results of the proposed model are compared to those of the circuit level simulator, PSIM and experiment.

  • 본 논문은 3상 4선식 인버터를 이용하여 임의의 전압 파형을 발생하기 위한 우수한 성능의 폐루프 전압 제어기를 제안하고 제어 이득 설정 방법을 제시한다. 먼저, 임의 파형 발생기에 사용된 3상 4선식 인버터 및 LC 필터 회로 구조를 분석하고, 이를 기반으로 한 전압 제어기 구조를 제안한다. 제안된 전압 제어기는 폐루프 형태의 PI 전압 제어기를 사용하고, 과도 특성 개선 및 부하 전류로 인한 전압 왜곡 방지를 위해 인버터 전류 및 부하 전류 정보를 전향 보상에 사용한다. 실험을 통해 전압 지령에 대한 응답 특성이 향상되는 것을 확인할 수 있다.
