Studying the definition and building a foundation about variables during elementary school is a crucial factor before students study the variable in depth in middle school. So, forming a basis for understanding variable in this period should be treated with importance, because it is the first step in forming a clear understanding of the concept of variables. According to analysis of the types of letters used in current textbooks, we can see that too much emphasis was placed on type 1(letter evaluated), type 3(letter used as an Object). By not utilizing the various types of letter usage we reduce the situation to one which is removed from the context and an automatous style of learning. Therefore, the purpose of this study was the development about early algebra learning materials which use diverse types of letters. We have analyzed the types of letters used from the 4-ga to 6-na mathematics textbooks and the 4-ga to the 6-na workbooks. To make learning materials for well-balanced letter use, we developed learning materials focused on early algebra with the 6-ga and the 6-na textbooks.

The purpose of this study was to identify elementary school students' alternative conceptual types of the movement of the moon and to find out how these types change when confronted with cognitive conflict situations. To find out alternative conceptual types, 206 sixth graders were sampled, and to investigate how the alternative conceptual types were changed by cognitive conflict situations, and 30 students were systematically resampled by alternative conceptual types. Data were collected through the pre- and post-test instruments, including five items that were used for testing the students' alternative conceptual types and changes after conflict situations. After the pre-test, students were instructed to determine the change of the alternative preconceptions using conflict situations. We found that a majority of students had various kinds of alternative preconceptions formed from their early years of elementary school. The cognitive conflict situations were effective for the conceptual change of the movement of the moon. Specifically, in all groups, the subjects' understanding of "the movement of the early evening crescent moon" changed scientifically.

The recent increase in lawsuits and disputes caused by defects in apartment houses has been highlighted as a social issue. To solve this problem, studies were conducted on the type of defects in apartment houses. However, the problem has not been resolved amicably. Accordingly, it was emphasized that it was necessary to lay a groundwork for research on the types of defects by type of construction work in the recently constructed apartment houses and to present countermeasures and preventive measures for defects later. Therefore, this study investigated cases of defects in apartment houses and analyzed types of defects through PMIS and defect reports. The main purpose of the research is to present the causes for major types of defects by identifying the types of defects in apartment houses and to lay the goundwork for the study of countermeasures and preventive measures for each type of defects in the future.

The current study analyzed the relationship between expression type of humor ads and their advertising effects and the differences in advertising effects by expression type according to temperament as categorized by the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI). Expression type of humor was classified into arousal-, incongruity-, and superiority-type humor ads. Advertising effects were measured by consumers' cognitive, affective, and conative responses. Three ads were created based on expression type of humor. A personality type, as measured by the MBTI, was categorized into four types of temperament, namely SP, SJ, NF, NT and used as moderating variables. As a result, the advertising effects varied according to the expression type of humor advertising. Interaction effects between ad expression type and temperament on ad feeling and ad preference were also found.

본 논문에서는 요람기부터 해방을 전후한 시기의 대중가요의 선율 유형을 연구하고자 하였다. 총 109 편의 가요를 분석하는 방법으로서 작품의 첫 제시에 사용된 선율 유형들을 분류하였으며 그 결과 일련의 '선율 그룹(tune family)'이 도출되었다. 이렇듯 유사한 선율들을 범주화하는 작업을 통해 초기 대중가요의 음악적 성격을 이론화하는 것이 본 논문의 목적이다.

본 연구의 목적은 인간 생태학적 조경계획의 이론적 배경과 계획과정을 살펴보고, 인간 생태학이라는 사회과학적 이론의 환경계획에의 적용 가능성및 필요성을 밝히고자 함에 있다. 인간의 건강과 복지가 인간 생태학적 조경계획의 지침으로 제시되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 Philadelphia와 New York의 교외에 위치한 Upper Makefield Township 주민들의 정주유형 (Settlement Patterns), 활동유형(Activity Patterns), 이용자유형(User Patterns), 인간생태학적 소구역(Human Ecological Subregion)의 구분 및 정주기준(Siting Criteria)등을 조사 연구한 후 이들의 상호관계를 밝혀 계획가들에게 인간생태계의 이해를 도모하고자 하였다.

제 7차 교육과정을 비롯하여, 많은 연구들에서 ‘수요자를 중심의 교육’, 즉 학습자의 개별적인 인지적 특성, 수학적 흥미, 재능을 고려하는 수학 교육을 위해 다양한 접근 방법이 모색되고 있다. 1980년대 말 이후부터 러시아에서도 이러한 연구들이 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 러시아의 중학교(7-9학년) 수학 교육에서 제시하는 다양한 유형(일반 학생들을 위한 제1유형, 제 2유형, 수학 심화 교육과정)의 교육과정들을 살펴보고, 이를 통해 러시아에서는 교육과정 수준에서 어떤 개별적 접근 방법을 시도하고 있는가를 분석하여, 수학교육의 개별적 접근을 위한 기초 연구를 제공할 것이다.

This study was carried out through the analysis of the actual vegetation types and characteristics in Baengma Urban Natural Park, Incheon to accumulate basic data for the forest vegetation management. The actual vegetation was classified into 39 types. Area of Robinia pseudoa-cacia forest was the widest($34.0\%$) in the afforested vegetation types, while Quercus monglica forest occupied the widest area($12.1\%$) in the natural vegetation types. The map of actual vegetation characteristics was drawn on the basis of stratum structure, plant development tendency and environmental condition of the actual vegetation types. We reclassified it into 16 types and proposed the management plan.
