A study on the new Developmental Direction for Fisheries Policy in Korea (한국의 수산정책의 발전방향에 관한 연구)

  • This paper presents the new developmental direction for fisheries policy in Korea. Korea is changing strang fisheries nation, the fact is that korea cannot effectively cope with changing fisheries situation and various fisheries difficulties, because the fisheries policy system is dispersed to each parts of the government. The results of this study is as follow: the fisheries policy in future must be able to unify of Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, all fisheries offices must be able to relation, the regulation of fisheries policy must relieve, a coastal fishery must be able to reproduction, change of fishery structure must be able to raising fishery, consumption of fishery must be able to improvement, live of fishing village must be able to betterment, overseas fishing grounds must have to security.

An Analysis about Characteristics of Students' Movement within a Recess by Physical Conditions of Homebase - Concentrated on the Classroom in Middle School on Variation Type - (거점공간의 물리적 여건에 따른 휴식시간 학생거동 특성 분석 - 교과교실형 중학교 교실공간을 중심으로 -)

  • This study was tried to find out characteristics of students' movement in classroom and homeroom. The object was the school whose homebase management was different by grade. Observation research was tried about middle school class that is simultaneously worked with different type of homeroom and the movement of students under various situations was analyzed. As a result, students in exclusive subject classroom moved in short time within one or two minutes after class. In case of exclusive homeroom, returning frequency of students was nearly about 85 to 100 percent within ten minutes in end of end. Behavioral characteristics of students in dual purpose homeroom was similar in exclusive subject classroom. The class using dual purpose homeroom showed high ratio in use of center homebase, therefore, returning frequency at short recess time was extremely low. In case of dual purpose homeroom at lunch time, next class students moved in early time and maximized within one or two minutes in end of end. These results are thought to be useful for planning spaces of variation type.

  • Summed area table (SAT) is a data structure in which the sum of pixel values in an arbitrary rectangular area can be represented by the linear combination of four pixel values. Since SAT serially accumulates the pixel values from an image corner to the other corner, a high-resolution image can yield overflow in a floating-point representation. In this paper, we present a new SAT construction technique, which accumulates only the residuals from the linearly-regressed representation of an image and thereby significantly reduces the accumulation errors. Also, we propose a method to find the integral of the linear regression in constant time using double integral. We performed experiments on the image reconstruction, and the results showed that our approach more reduces the accumulation errors than the conventional fixed-offset SAT.

  • Amebic liver abscess (ALA) is the most common extraintestinal manifestation of amebiasis. Amebiasis, a parasitic infection caused by Entamoeba histolytica, used to be a prevalent protozoan disease in Korea, however, with an improving sanitary system, it has been among very uncommon etiology of liver abscess. A recent report suggested that ALA is an emerging parasitic infection in human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-infected patients even in areas where the disease is not endemic and recommended HIV screening in patients in areas where ALA is not endemic, particularly those without history of travel to a disease-endemic area. We report on two patients who were admitted for treatment of ALA and then diagnosed as HIV infection. We also reviewed the etiology and characteristics of ALA in our hospital during the last 5 years.

An Analysis about Actual Condition and Behavior of Use in Homebase on Variation Type in Middle and High Schools (교과교실형 운영 중등학교 홈베이스 운영실태 및 이용행태 분석)

  • This study is carried out to understand spacial characteristics, actual condition and behavior of use about homebase managed in variation type. Observation about moving line of students and questionnaire were tried to satisfy this purpose. As a result, classroom used as variation type for long time stay and homebase outside the classroom for short time stay were paralled managed in most schools. Density of school furniture in homebase of observed schools was about 36-37%, occupying area of each student was about $0.3-0.6m^2$. It was relatively low with the results of 45-54% and $0.94-1.15m^2$ observed in Japan schools, respectively. By the analysis about behavior of use through cross section of observation, the difference of staying time and personnel exchange between the students was higher at the school having homebase composed with various corners more than the school used it only as a locker room.

  • In this paper, the characteristics of cable logging operations are discussed from a standpoint of mechanics. An example of standing skyline operations is used to illustrate the mechanical principles. Using force and moment boundary conditions, the maximum allowable payload was formulated as a function of slope profile, system geometry and operation options. This formulation includes fundamental equations for log drag and single segment mechanics. The catenary link model is the basic assumption in simulating cable segment stretches. In order to demonstrate the solution procedures of the formulation, a computer model was developed. The model uses Secant algorithm to determine the solution of the complex nonlinear equation set. Finally, the computer model was demonstrated using a hypothetical data set.

An Analysis about Awareness of Use in Space on Variation Type in Middle School According to the Type of Management for Homebase (거점공간 운영방식 차이에 따른 교과교실형 중학교 공간 이용의식 분석)

  • In this study, moving awareness of students having different physical conditions in homebase and attitudes of students to spacial use in user's aspect were analyzed. As shown in the results, the dissatisfaction degree of the second grade using homebase type was higher than the first and the third grades using exclusive space for a class, homeroom type. The necessity of exclusive space for a class was highly shown in the second grade students. Students of the first and the third grades showed similar pattern in using frequency of homeroom. The results showed that behavior pattern of students was different with their physical conditions. Especially, factors showing obvious differences between the two groups were possession awareness of their belongings, tendency to route choice of high frequency, stay awareness of main stay in time to rest and point of time using restroom. These results will be useful to design various models in variation type of schools.

Effects of Ag on the Characteristics of Sn43Bi57Agx(wt%) Lead-free Solder for Photovoltaic Ribbon (태양광 리본용 Sn43Bi57Agx(wt%) 무연 솔더의 특성에 미치는 Ag의 영향)

  • We have studied the effects of Ag on the characteristics of $Sn_{43}Bi_{57}Ag_x$(wt%) lead-free solders for photovoltaic ribbon. Ag atoms in the solder formed an alloy phase of Ag3Sn after reacting with some part of Sn atoms, while they did not react with Bi atoms, but decreased the mean size of Bi solid phase and the thickness of solder. When Ag atoms of 3.0 wt% was added to eutectic $Sn_{43}Bi_{57}$(wt%) solder, it showed the optimally useful results that the peel strength of photovoltaic ribbon greatly increased and the sheet resistance of the solder decreased. In the meanwhile, the eutectic $Sn_{43}Bi_{57}$(wt%) solder showed a low melting temperature of $138.9^{\circ}C$, and showed a very similar result regardless of the added amount of Ag atoms.

Effects of As Ions Implanted in Si Substrates on the Titanium -Silicides Formation (Si기판에 주입된 As이온이 Titanium-Silicides 형성에 미치는 영향 -Ⅰ-)

  • Sputter-deposited Ti film on Si substrates which were implanted with various doses of As was annealed at the temperature of 600-900$^{circ}C$ for 20 sec in Ar atmosphere. The sheet resistance of Ti-silicides was measured by 4-point probe, the thickness by $alpha$-step, and observed the behavior of As dopant in Si substrates by ASR. With increasing As doses, the thickness of Ti-silicides decreased and the sheet resistance of Ti-silicides increased. And we discussed the relationships between the above results and the factors of Si diffusion.

Heuristic Method for Computing Progressive Mesh Representation between Two Polygonal Models (두 다면체 모델 사이의 점진적 표현을 계산하는 휴리스틱 방법)

  • 본 논문에서는 서로 다른 개수의 정점을 가지는 두 다면체 사이의 점진적 다면체 모델 표현(Progressive Mesh Representation)을 계산하는 휴리스틱 방법을 제시한다. 정점의 개수가 각각 n, k개 인 두 다면체 모델 $M^n$, $M^k$ (n > k)에 대하여 $M^n$에서 서로 다른 k개의 정점을 선택한다. 선택된 k개의 정점을 기준으로 $M^n$의 모든 정점에 대한 클러스터링을 수행하여 k개의 정점군(Vertex Set)을 생성한다. $M^n$을 간략화하여 k개의 정점만을 가지는 모델 $M^{k'}$의 위상정보(Topology)를 $M^k$와 동일하게 유지하기 위하여 $M^n$ 정점군들의 위상정보를 수정한다. 수정 생성된 정점군 내에서 선분병합(Edge Collapse)을 수행하면, 위상정보를 유지하면서 $M^n$에서 $M^k$로 변화하는 점진적 다면체 모델 표현을 얻을 수 있다. $M^{k'}$$M^k$의 정점간의 기하학적 위치차이를 선형보간하여 선분병합이 일어날때 마다 반영하면 $M^n$에서 $M^k$로 기하정보를 부드럽게 유지하면서 변화하는 점진적 다면체 모델 표현을 얻을 수 있다. 본 논문의 연구결과는 기존의 DLoD(Discrete Level of Detail)를 지원하는 게임을 CLoD(Continuous Level of Detail)를 지원하는 게임으로 확장하는 등의 다양한 컴퓨터 그래픽스 응용문제에 사용할 수 있다.
