Efficient Authorization Method for XML Document Security (XML 문서 보안을 위한 효율적인 권한부여 방법)

  • XML can supply the standard data type in information exchange format on a lot of data generated in running database or applied programs for a company by using the advantage that it can describe meaningful information directly. Therefore, as it becomes more and more necessary to manage and protect massive XML data in an efficient way, the development of safe XML access control techniques needs a new method. In this study access authorization policies are defined to design access control systems. The findings demonstrated that algorithm suggested in this study improved system performance which was low due to the complex authorization evaluation process in the existing access control techniques. It is consequently proved that the safe XML access control policy presented in this study is in an improved form as compared with the existing access control methods.

Estimating Amino Acid Composition of Protein Sequences Using Position-Dependent Similarity Spectrum (위치 종속 유사도 스펙트럼을 이용한 단백질 서열의 아미노산 조성 추정)

  • The amino acid composition of a protein provides basic information for solving many problems in bioinformatics. We propose a new method that uses biologically relevant similarity between amino acids to determine the amino acid composition, where the BOLOSUM matrix is exploited to define a similarity measure between amino acids. Futhermore, to extract more information from a protein sequence than conventional methods for determining amino acid composition, we exploit the concepts of spectral analysis of signals such as radar and speech signals-the concepts of time-dependent analysis, time resolution, and frequency resolution. The proposed method was applied to predict subcellular localization of proteins, and showed significantly improved performance over previous methods for amino acid composition estimation.

  • In this paper, a lane detection algorithm using Eccentricity calculation is proposed. Lane detection is used for lane departure warning which can support safe driving to prevent accidents. In other to enhance the detection rate, we define the Eccentricity calculation which is introduced in graph theory, and evaluate the Eccentricity. The Eccentricity for any straight line is equal to 1, hence computing the Eccentricity allows the implementation of a first order equation. As a results of simulation, we confirmed that the proposed algorithm was enhanced by time and space complexity, and superior to the performance of the conventional lane detections.

  • For interchange of multimedia informations and presentation as intented by objects composer, there are need to interchange format of informations and control synchronization between medias. And It is therefore need to provide a method and apparatus for synchroniztion control of multimedia objects which can control the conditional, temporal. and spatial synchronization in a MHEG engine developed to execute the functions defined as the international standards. In this paper. We propose to improved method and apparatus for synchronization control of multimedia objects which can execute the synchronized presentation by combining media data needed for presentation of multimedia information, and which enable the interactive processing between the user and the MHEG engine by allowing the user input to be processed during presentation.

A New Coeff-Token Decoding Method based on the Reconstructed Variable Length Code Table (가변길이 부호어 테이블의 재구성을 통한 효율적인 Coeff-Token 복호화 방식)

  • In general, a large amount of the memory accesses are required for the CAVLC decoding in H.264/AVC. It is a serious problem for the applications such as a DMB and videophone services because the considerable power is consumed for accessing the memory. In order to solve this problem, we propose an efficient decoding method for the coeff-token which is one of the syntax elements of CAVLC. In this paper, the variable length code table is re-designed with the new codewords which are defined by investigating the architecture of the conventional codeword for the coeff_token element. A new coeff_token decoding method is developed based on the suggested table. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm achieves an approximately 85% memory access saving without video-quality degradation, compared to the conventional CAVLC decoding.

  • Using the Czochralski method, Er$_2$O$_3$ doped near stoichiometric LiNbO$_3$ single crystals were grown 15~20 mm in diameter and 30-35 mm in length for Z-axis. Lattice constants were inspected by the X-Ray Diffractometer (XRD) and through Fourier Transform-Infrared Spectrophotometer (FT-IR), it observed absorption band. Also, the distributions of Er concentration were confirmed by the Electron Probe Micro Analysis (EPMA).

  • The purpose of this study is to design and practice teaching and learning method for routing algorithm among computer science principle which is difficult to be taught to elementary school students and understood by students. And we find out whether elementary school students can understand those learning contents. Intellectual area was assessed through equivalent test paper before and after the test and emotional area was assessed through students' impressions after class. The test showed that routing algorithm could be taught to children. Therefore, this study presents the learnability of routing algorithm as a learning element of elementary school computer education.

A Steganography based on Bit Plane using Similarity (유사도를 이용한 비트플레인 기반의 스테가노그라피)

  • In this paper, we proposed a new method of the steganography based on bit plane using similarity. Applying a fixed threshold, the insert information into all bit planes showed different image quality. Therefore, we first defined the bit plane of block similarity to solve the fixing threshold problem. We then proposed a new method using the Bit Plane complexity and similarity to insert information into bit planes of block. In the experiment, we inserted information into the standard images with the same image quality and same insertion capacity. Finally analyzed the insertion capacity and image quality. As a result, the proposed method increased the insertion capacity of about 6% and improved the image quality of about 3.3dB than fixing threshold method.

  • This paper propose an active rule and its semantic model integrating active rule system into temporal database. Most of previous works have been focused on condition action(CA) rule for temporal relations. However, proposed active rule model supports full SQL:3 trigger functionalitics including transition variable and table as well as tuple-level and statement-level active rules in E CA granularity. A bi-temporal concept of active rule and valid time event are also proposed newlv.

  • 지리산국립공원의 장터목을 중심으로 남향사면인 중산리-장터목지역과 북향사면인 가내소폭포-장터목지역을 대상으로 사면방향과 해발고에 따른 교목츠의 산림구조를 조사분석하였다 북향사면은 남향사면에 비하여 교목층의 밀도 흉고단면적 종다양도가 높은경향을 보였다 특수한 지형인 주능선부에 위치하는 정부를 제외하면 해발고가 ?아짐에 따라 교목층 전체의 평균 흉고직경과 흉고단면적은 북혀 사면에서는 감소하는 반면 남향사면에서는 증가하는 경향을 보였다 종수, 종다양도, 균재도는 남향사면과 북향사면 모두 해발고가 높아짐에 따라 감소하였다 남향사면과 북향사면에서 모두 해발고가 증가함에 따락 중요치가 높아지는 수종은 구상나무 철쭉꽃 등이었으며 중요치가 감소하는 수종은 졸참나무 서어나무 생강나무 등이었다 cluster 분석결과 남향사면 하부의 졸참나무-활엽수군집 남향사면 중부와 북향사면 하부의신갈나무-전나무군집 남향사면 상부와 북향사면 상중부의 구상나무-활엽수군집 정부의 구상나무군집 등 4개 유형의 군집으로 구분되었다. 졸참나무 산뽕나무 비목나무 고로쇠나무 서어나무 다릅나무 등의 수종간에는 유의적인 정의 상관이 있어으며 구상나무와 사닥나무는 노각나무와 유의적인 부의 상관이 있었다.
