Backgrounds: It was thought that sport was related with mentality. Compared to psychology, psychiatry has so far paid rather little attention to athletes. In this overview, I attempted to introduce the ideas of various observers of sports with the view of clinical psychiatry and summarized basic principle role of psychiatrist. Results and Discussions : To understand the athletic frame of mind, it is helpful to observe athletes in their psychologic development and when we do so we can quickly see trends that are not apparent by observing mature athletes alone. Psychobiology of sport would discuss some of the endogenous neurochemicals(hormone, neurotransmitter) that may be part and parcel of the athlete's psychiatric status. The psychological problems that frequently interfere with training and competition may be divided into five categories 1) choke, 2) slump, 3) injury, 4) interpersonal problem, 5) training dilemma. Psychiatric problem also arise in athletes like general people. various method for psychiatric patients like psychotherapy, group therapy, family systems perspective, and pharmacotherapy could been applied to sports psychiatry. Conclusions Although the contribution of sports psychiatry to sport is clinical one, psychiatrist's interest in role and conflict of athlete would enhance the molding of humanistic athletes who enjoy their life and sports.

소아치과 영역의 진료를 성공적으로 하기 위해서는 어린이를 잘 다루는 것이 선행되어야 한다. 성공적인 소아취급(management)은 시술을 용이하게 하여주고 어린이의 정신적인 손상도 적게 하여준다. 이를 위해서는 치과의사는 우선 일반적인 어린이의 정신발달과 인격발달사항을 알고 있어야 하며, 각 환자의 행동을 관찰 분석하고 이해해야 성공적으로 소아취급을 할 수 있다. 소아환자의 취급은 여러 가지 방법이 문헌에 의해서 소개되고 있으나 일반적으로 흔히 사용하는 방법을 기술하고자 한다.

최근까지의 그룹의사결정지원시스템에 관련된 연구와 실제 적용을 통한 실험들에 의하면 각 국가들은 나름대로의 특유한 민족정신과 문화를 가지고 있으며 이러한 문화의 차이로 인해서 서구에서 개발된 그룹 의사결정지원시스템을 우리 기업에 그대로 적용하기에는 그 효과성에 많은 의문점들이 제기되고 있음을 알 수 있다. 따라서 앞으로는 각 국가의 문화적 요인들이 충분히 고려된 고유의 그룹의사결정지원시스템의 개발이 필요하다. 본 연구는 비교경영의 관점에서 문화의 중요성을 제시한 다음 그룹의사결정지원시스템에서 고려되어야 할 민족정신, 국민특성, 문화등의 한국적인 특징들을 기존의 문헌과 연구들을 통해서 규명하고 이 한국적 특징들의 그룹의사결정시스템에 반영하여 우리의 현실에 맞는 효과적인 한국적 그룹의사결정시스템의 구성요소들을 제시한다.

Child Psychiatric consultations on 92 patients hospitalized at the Seoul National Childrens Hospistal were analyzed retrospectively. The main referral sources were Pedictrics(77.2%), Neurosurgery(8.91%) and Orthopedics(3.96%) Consultation rate was 0.81% for the Hospital, 1.41% for Department of Pediatrics, 3.54% for Neurosurgery and 0.3% for the other department were made for the differential diagnosis raher than for the treatment or intervention. The diagnosis of referred patients were somatoform disorder(25%), organic mental disorder(18.5%), developmental disorder(14.1), conduct disorder(6.5%), anxiety disorder(6.5%).

The purpose of this study is to investigate the current status of work performance of public health doctors(PHDs) involved in quarantine of COVID-19, and to suggest a plan to support PHDs for effective national epidemic prevention and control in the future. As a result of the study, it was found that PHDs mainly performed sample collection, interview, and treatment. 39% of PHDs worked in places without negative pressure facilities, and personal protective equipment and welfare support were poor. In addition, it was investigated that they experienced high-risk infectious diseases, mental distress, exclusion from the decision-making process, conflicts with officials, problems with work guidelines, and lack of prior education. For effective infectious disease management, it is necessary to assign appropriate ranks and to participate in the decision-making process for quarantine, to specify appropriate compensation and regulations, to education, and to support mental health.

Human being can be defined in several ways. These are biological, psychological, social and religious, ethical and philosophical aspects. The first two viewpoints refer to the intrapersonal aspects and the last two viewpoints deal with the interpersonal aspects. In every aspect, introspection is very much important to understand him or herself and other person. In this paper, the author summarized the instruction from the oriental old classic books. By doing this process, the author suggested three ways to introspect himself：1) We have to read the old classic books on Wisdom and follow the teachings in those books. 2) Self-analysis may be one way to introspect him or herself. It is to understand his emotional response by way of thinking(reasoning). By repeating this process, affect and thinking can achieve harmony and balance. 3) Training analysis may help to introspect oneself. Qualified analysts may be of help. In order to understand the psychological aspect of patients, the psychiatrists should get insight into his own mind. In this aspect, introspection is the single most important factor in achieving insight.

This study examined the influence of the turnover intention and emotional intelligence, communication competence and stress coping of psychiatric nurses. A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 160 Korean Psychiatric nurses from February 2 to February 27, 2015. The data were analyzed using the frequencies, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, stepwise multiple regression using IBM SPSS 20.0. The turnover intention showed a close correlation with the emotional intelligence (r=-.638 p<.001), stress coping (r=-.649, p<.001), and communication competence(r=-.694, p<.001) in psychiatric nurses. The turnover intention and emotional intelligence, stress coping, communication competence explained 54.5% of the total variance of clinical competence in psychiatric nurses. Therefore, it is necessary to develop and implement a curriculum and program to improve the turnover intention and emotional intelligence, stress coping, communication competence of psychiatric nurses.

The psychobiological model of cancer has a long history, with Galen's view on melancholic woman being often quoted. From a historical perspective, the 1950s witnessed a surge of interest in psychosomatic medicine and in researches linking psychological, social, and environmental factors to disease onset and progression. The 1960s witnessed the growth of animal experiements, in the hope of better understanding the effects of psychological and behavioral factors on carcinogenesis while controlling confounding variables. The 1970s saw rapid advances in immunology and neurochemistry. Further researches in the 1980s in psychoneuroimmunology explored relationships between immunological responses and psychosocial variables, and their implications for cancer vulnerability and progression. In this review, the interacting aspects of oncology and psychiatry are presented with selected major findings in the fold of psychooncology researches.

The purpose of this study was investigate the effects of role playing on empathy and communication competence of nursing students in psychiatric mental health nursing practicum. The study was designed using a nonequivalence control group design. The subject were 59(Experimental. 29, Control 30) nursing students from two different university in G city who were support to this study. The role playing conducted from February 26, 2018 to May 25, 2018. The study variables were 'empathy' and 'communication competence' surveyed by self-reported questionnaires. The score of empathy and communication competence of experimental group was significantly higher than those of control group after role playing. Based of these results, role playing for nursing students in psychiatric mental health nursing practicum was especially effective in increasing on the change of empathy and communication competence.
