The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors associated with marital satisfaction and stability among married men and women. The major findings of this study are as follows: the factors associated with marital satisfaction and stability are different between gender. For married women the positive communication with spouse strongly had positive effect on women's marital satisfaction, while destructive conflict strongly had negative effect on women's marital stability. Otherwise, married men's positive communication with spouse was the most important factor in the marital satisfaction. The emotional support of family-of-origin strongly had effect on men's marital stability. This study reveals that the emotional support from families of origin have a direct effect on needs for affection and autonomy, positive communication, destructive conflict patterns, sexual satisfaction, marital satisfaction and stability. Therefore, the results could be useful resources for family counselors and researchers to develop educational program for married couples.
The present study aimed to investigate the relationships among consumers' personality trait, brand tribalism, and brand commitment through brand trust and perceived switching cost. Data were collected from a convenience sample of three-hundred and ninety-four undergraduate students at a large Korean university. The participants consisted of 54.1% female (N = 213) and 45.9% male (N = 181). The results indicated that extraversion, conscientiousness, and emotional stability traits are directly related to brand tribalism. Also, brand commitment was directly associated with brand tribalism, brand trust, and perceived switching cost. In particular, our results showed the relationship between brand tribalism and brand commitment was mediated by brand trust, but not perceived switching cost. Therefore, our findings suggest that strong emotional connection of brand tribes may increase perceived switching costs and, consequently, affect brand commitment.

Adolescence is a period when ego resilience, the ability to overcome stress, is important because self-identity is not established. Culture and arts education has various effects on the ego resilience of adolescents, so school culture arts education and social culture arts education use teaching and learning methods appropriate to the situation of adolescents. Self-understanding of the effects of culture and arts education has a significant effect on emotional control, vitality, interpersonal relationships, optimism, and curiosity of adolescent ego resilience, On the other hand, it was found that emotional stability among the effects of culture and arts education did not have a significant effect on all factors of adolescent ego resilience. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare a plan to provide opportunities for career exploration as a more practical program for adolescence to understand themselves and develop themselves. In addition, Culture and arts education should be conducted with convergence research that enables youths to maintain good relationships with others, have high self-confidence, and play a role in a wide range of stable and mature lives.
Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine cognitive and psychological characteristics of patients with military service suitability issues compared to the general psychiatric outpatients. Methods : 108 patients who visited psychiatric clinic center due to military service suitability issues and 80 general psychiatric patients were recruited from the Department of Psychiatry of university hospital. ANCOVA and chi-equare test were used to examine differences between two groups. Furthermore, we utilized paired t-test to compare the scrore within military group depending on when they performed the psychological assessment. Results : There were no significant differences between military group and general outpatient group in WAIS-IV scores. However, military group scored remarkably higher than control group on validity scales, F-r and Fp-r whereas they scored lower on validity scale, K-r. Furthermore, military group showed significantly higher on BDI and MMPI-2-RF, EID, RCd, RC2, RC3, COG, HLP, SFD, NFC, STW, SAVE, SHY, DSF, NEGE-r, INTR-r. As a result of comparison within the military group following the periods of assessment, military group did not show the significant differences on the overall scales of MMPI-2-RF. Conclusions : The present study showed that military group tends to report their psychological distress more exaggeratedly. In addition, they had significantly elevated not only emotional distress such as depression and anxiety but interpersonal problem. The implications and limitations were discussed along with some suggestions for the future studies.

A review of recent studies indicates that positive emotions help buffer stress. In particular, humor is what only human can appreciate. Humor plays an important role in many facets of human life including psychological, social, and somatic functioning. The participants were briefed on the experiment was its procedure. During the experiment, electrodes were attached to participant and middle fingers of left hands. Physiological responses(EDA, SKT, PPG and ECG) were measured for 30s both in the resting state and experiment state during which emotion provoking stimulus was presented for 2 min. Also, self-report on emotions was followed for 1 min. Results from the self-report showed that both humor and joy were evoked effectively among 89.3% of children. It explains that emotion-eliciting stimuli were effective and appropriate. ANS responses in both emotion were significant in three physiological variables (i.e., SCL, NSCR, LF). There was a significant difference between humor emotion and joy emotion, and both emotions were distinguishable by a specific ANS response pattern.

Ectodermal dysplasia is a hereditary disease characterized by congenital dysplasia of one or more ectodermal structures. Intraorally, common findings are anodontia or oligodontia, conical teeth, and, consequently, generalized spacing. This case presented the oral rehabilitation of a child with hypohidrotic ectodermal dysplasia. Oral rehabilitation is important from functional, esthetic, and psychologic perspectives. Due to the absence of teeth, the volume of alveolar bone and its growth are decreased, resulting in a loss of vertical dimension and protuberant lips. The treatment involved increasing the patient's vertical dimension of occlusion, fabricating a maxillary partial denture, and using magnets to help retain the mandibular partial denture. A 5-year 7-month old Korean boy was referred to the pediatric department for examination, evaluation and treatment of his disorder. we used magnets on '73 and '83 for enhanced retention of a mandibular overdenture. The magnet used in this case was the Magfit system(GC Co., Japan).
