A Coherent Phase Sequence Detection Scheme for SLM-based OFDM Systems without Side Information (위상 신호에 대한 부가 정보가 없는 SLM 기반 OFDM 시스템을 위한 동기식 위상 신호 검출 방식)

  • In this paper, we consider selective mapping (SLM) based OFDM systems without side information, where SLM is one of the promising peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) reduction techniques due to its simplicity and no distortion in the transmitted signal. First, we construct a new phase sequence where a part of phase sequence is replaced by an orthogonal sequence. Based on the proposed phase sequence, we propose a new scheme for detecting coherently the index of the phase sequence used in transmitter without side information. Computer simulation shows that the proposed detection scheme performs well in SLM-based OFDM systems, and specifically outperforms the existing ones when channel variation is relatively small between sub-carriers used in phase sequence detection.

  • Unbalanced source voltage in the 3-phase power system is decomposed into positive, negative and zero sequence c components. Also, assuming there is no neutral path in the system, the zero sequence component is not shown on the l load side. Therefore, in the unbalanced power system without neutral path. it is possible to provide balanced voltage to t the load side by compensating negative sequence component and also to regulate the voltage amplitude by controlling t the positive sequence component. In addition, the symmetrical components due to voltage unbalance can be effectively d detected on the synchronous reference frame by using dlongleftarrowq transformation. In this paper, an algorithm not only c compensating unbalanced source voltage by canceling the negative sequence component on the synchronous reference f frame but also maintaining load voltages constantly is proposed. Also a novel method for phase angle detection s synchronized by positive sequence component under unbalanced source voltage is suggested and this detected phase a angle is used for d-q transformation. The performances and characteristics of the proposed compensating system are a analyzed by simulation and verified through experimental results.

  • In this paper we composed the dual fuzzy rules using each region of specific points and $e-{\Delta}e$ phase plane In order to make dual fuzzy rule base. We composed the fuzzy control rules which can decrease rise time, delay time, maximum overshoot than basic fuzzy control rules. proposed method is alternately use at specific points of $e-{\Delta}e$ phase plane with two fuzzy control rules that is one control rule occruing the steady state error in transient region and another fuzzy control rule use to decrease the steady state error and rapidly converge at the convergence region. Also, two fuzzy control rules in the $e-{\Delta}e$ phase plane decide the change time according to response characteristics of plants. In order to confirm thef proposed algorithm. As the results of experiments through the hydraulic servo motor control system with a DSP processor, We verified that proposed dual fuzzy control rules get the good response compare with the basic fuzzy control rule.

Feasibility Study on Detection of Defective Elements in a Linear Phased Array Transducer through Ultrasonic Field Analysis and Visualization (초음파 음장해석 및 가시화를 통한 선형 위상차배열 트랜스듀서의 결함요소 검출 가능성 연구)

  • The ultrasonic pressure fields for the 3 MHz linear phased array transducer with sixteen piezoelectric elements of which one may not be operated by defect were simulated theoretically and measured experimentally using a visualization system of the Schlieren method. The simulation results for steering angles of $0^{\circ}$ and $30^{\circ}$ show that the side-lobe patterns of the transducer including a defective element is quite different from the transducer with all normal elements, and those patterns are in good agreement with the results of visualization. It is shown that the defective elements in a linear array transducer can be detected by comparison of the simulated and the visualized side-lobe patterns in two dimensional acoustic fields.

  • In this paper, we have derived a continuum-based adjoint design sensitivity of general performance functionals with respect to Young' modulus and heat conduction coefficient for steady-state nonlinear thermoelastic problems. An adjoint equation for temperature and displacement fields is defined for the efficient computation of the coupled field design sensitivity. Through numerical examples, we investigated the mesh dependency of the topology optimization method in the thermoelastic problems. Also, comparing the dominant loading cases of thermal and mechanical ones, the loading dependency of topology design optimization in coupled multi-physics problems is investigated.

  • In this paper, a double gimbal is used for roll/yaw attitude control of spacecraft and two feedback controllers are designed. One is a PD controller of no phase difference between roll and yaw control input. The other is a PD controller with a phase lag compensator about the yaw control input. The phase lag compensator is designed a first order system and a lag parameter is designed for the control of yaw angle. There are two case simulations for each of controllers; constant disturbance torques and initial errors of nutation. We obtain the results through simulations that a steady-state error and a rising time of yaw angle are developed by the compensator. In this paper, simulation parameters use the values of KOREASAT 1.

Debonding Detection Techniques of FRP/Rubber Interface by the Ultrasonic Phase Reversal (초음파 위상 반전에 의한 FRP/고무 접착계면의 미접착 결함 검출 연구)

  • The object of this study is to develop new examination techniques for detecting the debonds in adhesive interface of different kinds of the material. Ultrasonic signal was modeled by theoretically analyzing ultrasonic propagation phenomenon of the adhesive interface and debonding interface. The test method using the phase reversal of the debonding interface applied to the FRP/Rubber test block. Aluminum/Rubber test block with the flat bottom hole was manufactured to quantitatively evaluate the minimum detection ability of the defects. The pulse echo reflection method and the phase reversal method were mutually compared and it was estimated that the phase reversal method could detect the debonds on the basis of the theoretically predicted ultrasonic signal and ultrasonic test data.

  • 정상분과 역상분의 전압이 존재하는 삼상 계통의 전압 불평형은 dq 변환에서 맥동전압 성분을 발생시킨다. 인버터의 동작을 위한 PLL의 위상 추적 능력은 맥동 전압에 의해 감소하게 된다. 정상분과 역상분의 분리를 통해 맥동 성분의 제거가 가능하지만 복잡한 PLL 구성을 갖는다. 본 연구는 불평형 상태에서 발생하는 dq 성분의 주파수가 기본파의 짝수 배만 존재하는 성질을 이용하여 comb 필터를 PLL 제어기에 적용하였다. 전압 불평형 및 고조파 성분에 대해서도 맥동 없는 dq 전압 획득이 가능하다. 기본 PLL 제어기에 단순 시간지연의 comb 필터로 견실한 PLL 제어기가 얻어진다. 제안된 PLL 제어기는 시뮬레이션으로 성능을 확인하였다.
