Electronic paper resources management becomes an important alternative to overcome the inefficiency of various dysfunctions and pathologies dependent upon bureaucratic paperworks and to enhance organizational competitiveness. Korean government and enterprises have less recognized the importance of electronic document management and ignored the merits of introducing information technology into organizations. By means of document and paper exchange, decision making and signature, mail and bulletin board systems, information disclosure and sharing using electronic technology, however, electronic document management system can enhance organizational performance on a considerable degree. In this sense, it is necessary to introduce the system as soon as possible. Several measures are required : revising related laws and regulations, reforming the sense and behavior of personnel, establishing technological basis of the system, standardizing word processors and document formats.

This study purported to study the uses of information and communication technology (ICT) tools in their daily life among the undergraduate and graduate students majoring science and engineering. It also examined the purposes of the uses of the major ICT tools, the differences in their information technology uses between graduate and undergraduate students. The data were collected from 83 undergraduate and graduate students from four universities using content analysis of an observational logs and a survey questionnaire. The observational logs were collected using an instant message application available on a smart phone. Study results revealed desktop computers, laptop computers, and smart phones as the three most heavily used ICT tools among the participants and typical situations students use each of the three tools. There were also sharp distinctions between graduate and undergraduate students in their selection of the tools, and distinctions between work and non-work situations. The findings of this study can be used to redesign information services and systems for the scientists and engineers in the next generation.

This study evaluated the dietary habits and health behaviors of Korean adolescents according to their nutrition label utilization. This study was conducted on the adolescents aged between 12 and 18 who participated in the 2016-2018 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. Subjects were classified into nutrition label utilizing group and non-utilizing group. Then the general information, diet habit and nutrient intakes, health status and obesity and mental health of the two groups were analyzed. There was no significant difference in skipping breakfast, frequency of eating out, smoking status and alcohol drinking status according to the utilization of nutrition labels. Nutrition label utilizing group had higher % KDRI of protein(p<0.05), calcium (p<0.01), phosphorus(p<0.01) and potassium intakes(p<0.01) than non-utilizing group. Nutrition label utilizing group had higher EQ-5D score(0.97) than non-utilizing group(p<0.001). Practical nutrition education using nutrition label is needed. So these results can be useful for supporting dietary education regarding use of nutrition label for adolescents.

The information that has been created according to the complex environment and usage pattern of library user can provide context-aware information service through knowledge structuralization on whether it is a suitable situation for user. Accordingly, the development of a context model for defining the various contexts of library user and for the structuralization of interrelated context information is an essential requirement. This study examined the context concept and context modeling, and utilizing the concept of Activity Theory by Engestrom, the activity model of library user was designed as 1) subject, 2) object, 3) tools, 4) divison of labor, 5) community, and 6) rules. In addition, for the purpose of analyzing the context of library user, activity information was tracked to utilize the Shadow Tracking for observing and recording their forms, and the methodology of CAbAT (Context Analysis based on Activity Theory) was utilized for the collected activity information to analyze the user context model.

The study aims at investigating students' behaviors and perceptions regarding the collaborative learning based group project using the wiki environment. The study utilized Google Sites as a case, and analyzed file unloads, the use of web pages, navigation bars, and comments as well as surveys. The study discusses main characteristics of students' activities in the collaborative learning group project, which are drawn from the analysis of students' behaviors and perceptions. The study also provides implications for improvement of wiki environment to support collaborative learning in education.

Transaction logs capture the interactions between online information retrieval systems and the users. Given the nature of the Web and Web users, transaction logs appear to be a reasonable and relevant method to collect and investigate information searching behaviors from a large number of Web users. Based on a series of research studies that analyzed Naver transaction logs, this study examines how transaction log analysis can be applied and contributed to the field of web searching and suggests future implications for the web searching field. It is expected that this study could contribute to the development and implementation of more effective Web search systems and services.

As the digital broadcasting era settled in, the TV, which was only used to watch broadcast programs, developed as a medium for operating various data services. This means that an environment, in which the viewers' TV usage behavior can be changed from a passive attitude to an attitude of actively consuming the media, has been established. Since the advertising market is an industry that is heavily influenced by changes in the media, these changes causes changes in the form of advertising and the advertising consumption behavior of viewers. In this environment, the broadcasting industry needs to think about the new growth strategy that links the possibility of data service with the advertisement market. In this study, we designed a data service that provides supplementary information of an ID advertisement, which has the weakness of short exposure time and shortage of information expression space. Specifically, we have designed the usage scenario and user interface of the data service and developed a method, based on the international digital broadcasting standard DV B, that provides the supplementary information defined by the type of ID advertisement to the data service.

This study analyzed the abuse of authority among the types of power abuse in educational institutions in order to create an educational climate in which democracy and equality are respected and to create a better education and an equal society. First, we analyzed the concept and cause of power abuse through literature research, and then explored the cases of members of educational institutions according to the type of abuse of authority through qualitative research to derive implications. As a result, abuse of authority within educational institutions were found as follows: additional work without consultation, transfer of duties, coercive and unilateral instructions using status, instructions violating laws and guidelines, private instructions for personal convenience, specific institutions, personal rights, and privacy. Based on this analysis, a policy was proposed. First, an agreed standard for abuse of authority, an institutional mechanism to mediate conflicts and complaints over abuse of authority, mandatory installation and legislation of the best decision body, active and transparent disclosure of information, and a shift to open and listening administration are needed. Second, analyzing and seeking ways to reduce overuse of authority in educational institutions will be the cornerstone for leading education's democracy and equality by creating a culture of mutual respect and communication among members of the organization. Hope that follow-up studies will be carried out and that the Gap-jil in educational institutions will be reduced to create a better educational environment.

위성영상은 항공사진과 더불어 지표면의 변화를 신속하고 주기적으로 관찰할 수 있다는 장점을 가지고 있다. 이러한 장점뿐만 아니라 위성영상에 포함된 분광정보는 시간에 따른 지표면의 변화를 면밀하게 관찰이 가능하다. 이러한 장점들을 이용하여 현재 도시의 중추적인 교통수단으로서의 역할을 하고 있는 지하철 구간주변을 대상으로 시간에 따른 공간변화를 알아보았다. 지하철 건설전후의 구간을 대상으로 Landsat TM영상을 이용하여 토지이용변화 정도를, SPOT Panchromatic 영상을 이용하여 주거 및 상업지구의 변화정도를 위성영상을 통해 살펴보았다. 또한 부산에서 발간한 토지건축물 대장, 교통유발금부과대장을 통해 영상에서 나타난 건물들이 어떤 용도의 건물인지를 파악하고 부산교통공사에서 발간한 일반현황자료를 통하여 지하철이용의 현황과 이용행태를 주변 공간변화와 더불어 분석해보았다.

인터넷이 생활의 일부로 자리매김 하면서 정보 검색, 뉴스, 영화, 쇼핑, 커뮤니티, 블로그 등의 여러 종류의 서비스가 일상에서 활용되고 있다. 따라서 향후 인터넷 쇼핑 서비스 방향에 대한 인사이트를 얻기 위해서는 단순히 쇼핑몰 자체에 대한 이해가 아니라, 사용자들의 일상 속에서 인터넷 쇼핑을 할 때 인터넷을 어떤 상황에서 사용하고, 인터넷 쇼핑을 위해 어떤 서비스와 정보들을 이용하고 있는지, 이들은 어떤 방법으로 사용하고 있는지에 대한 이해가 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 사람들이 인터넷 쇼핑을 할 때 어떤 쇼핑 과정을 거치고, 인터넷의 다양한 정보와 도구를 어떻게 이용하는지를 문화인류학적 방법인 필드 스터디를 통해 알아보고자 한다. 이를 위해 다이어리 스터디와 현장 방문 인터뷰를 실시하여 사용자들의 일상 속에서의 인터넷을 이용한 쇼핑 행위를 관찰하였고, 이를 통해 인터넷 쇼핑과정 및 이때 이용되는 도구를 규명하였다.
