FDDI는 1980년대 초부터 미국표준협회(ANSI)의 X3T9.5 위원회에서 표준화가 진행되어 온 100 Mbps 급의 고속통신망으로서 현재 다양한 컴퓨터 사업자, 제조업자들의 관심하에 실용화되고 있다. 그러나 FDDI는 구조 및 전송속도의 한계로 제한된 서비스만을 제공하기 때문에, 멀티미디어 정보전송, 화상회의, HDTV 등 다양한 서비스 요구를 만족시키기 위한 새로운 통신망 구조를 필요로 하게 되었다. 이에 X3T9.5 위원회는 최근, FDDI Follow-On LAN(FFOL)에 관한 표준화를 진행하고 있어 관심을 끌고 있다. 본 고에서는 FFOL의 표준화동향과 그 구조 및 요구사항을 기술하고 이를 분석하였다.

재난경보방송시스템에서 오디오 방송은 여러 가지 형태의 통신망을 이용하여 서비스되고 있다. 상용전화망, 이동통신망, 무선자가망 등이 있으나 오디오 동시방송이라는 요구는 충족하지 못하는 것이 사실이다. 또한, 아날로그 기반의 통신으로 오디오 품질이 만족스럽지 못한 편이다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 통신망에서 재난정보 서비스를 수행할 수 있는 재난경보방송시스템 모델을 제시하며, 이더넷과 같은 디지털 통신망 기반의 오디오 동시방송을 위한 솔루션을 연구 개발하였다. 방송송신설비 및 IP 교환기와 같은 하드웨어 요소를 제외하여 구축비용에 대한 부담을 줄이고, 통신 대역폭이 보장될 경우 실시간 동시방송이 가능하도록 설계하였다. 오디오 송신은 공개된 라이브러리를 사용하여 윈도우 기반의 소프트웨어 구조를 가지며, 오디오 수신은 임베디드 장치 기반으로 임베디드 리눅스에서 수신하고 재생할 수 있도록 구현하였다.

모바일 RFID 환경이란 휴대전화가 RFID 리더를 가지고 있어서 사용자가 자신의 휴대전화를 통해 RFID 태그가 부착된 제품의 정보를 손쉽게 얻을 수 있는 환경을 의미한다. 모바일 환경에서 사용되는 RFID 기술은 고정형 RFID 리더를 사용하는 환경과는 다른 사용자 요구사항 및 보안 요구사항이 존재한다. 모바일 RFID 기술에 특화된 국제 표준화 논의가 2007년 상반기부터 본격적으로 논의되고 있다. 따라서 모바일 RFID 보안기술은 모바일 RFID 전체 프레임워크와 호환성을 유지하면서 모바일 환경의 요구사항을 만족하는 방향으로 표준화가 진행되어야 한다. 본 고에서는 모바일 RFID 기술의 표준화 동향을 살펴보고, 모바일 환경을 고려한 모바일 RFID 보안 프레임워크 및 인증, 키 관리, 데이터 보호, 프라이버시 보호 등의 모바일 RFID 보안 서비스를 설명한다. 그리고 이러한 보안 서비스를 제공하기 위해 필요한 표준화 대상을 제안하고, 표준화 대상에 대한 기술 개발과 지적재산권 확보 및 이를 연계한 국제표준화 추진 전략을 설명하며 결론을 맺는다.

1990 년 후반부터 인터넷의 활용과 이동통신 기술의 범용화로 무선 인터넷 서비스의 수요가 점차적으로 빠르게 증대되어지고 있다. 하지만, 현 단계의 무선인터넷 서비스는 급변하는 시장과는 달리 정체 상태로 머물고 있다. 이러한 이유에는 여러 가지가 있겠지만 가장 큰 이유는 제한된 환경이라고 볼 수가 있다. 특히 현재의 무선 인터넷은 다양한 동영상 종류의 포맷을 지원하지 못하고 있다. 무선 인터넷 서비스 중에서도 특히 게임과 동영상 등에 대한 관심이 집중되어지고 있지만 현 시점에서는 간단한 흑백 이미지와 *.sis 파일의 형태만을 지원한다. 저 품질 영상이 제공되는 현 시점에서 유선 인터넷과 같은 다양한 서비스 지원을 하기 위해서는 획기적인 방법이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 여러 가지 컨텐츠 타입을 지원하고, 대용량의 동영상 파일 등에 대해 설계 및 구현을 위한 최적화 방법론 중, DAIAML 이라는 새로운 측면의 스크립트 형태의 언어를 제안하며, 언어적 측면에서의 해석이 아닌 그래픽적 측면에서의 해석으로 접근한 방식이고 휴대폰이 칼라모드만 지원한다면 하드웨어적인 문제와는 상관없이 VOD 등의 고품질 동영상을 제공받으며 위의 요구 사항과 다양한 서비스 측면에 대해 소비자의 욕구를 만족시킬 수 있고, 많은 유선 인터넷 서비스들이 무선 인터넷으로 이동(migration)될 수 있다.

Recently, the demands for the satellite broadband mobile communication services are increased. To provide these services, mobile satellite communication systems for the passengers or crews on the high-speed moving vehicles, are being developed for the last several years especially in the Europe and North America. However, most of these systems can provide only several hundred kbps of transmission rate and this is not enough performance to provide satellite internet service for the group users such as passengers on the high-speed train. Moreover, service availability with these systems is limited to be rather low because they don't have any countermeasure scheme for the N-LOS environment which happens often along the railway. This paper describes mobile broadband satellite communication system, which is on the development, to provide high data-rate internet services to the high-speed trains. This system is applied with the inter-networking scenarios of both satellite/terrestrial network and satellite/gap-filler network so that it can provide seamless service even in the train operating environment, and these inter-networking schemes result in high service availability. And this system also has the countermeasure schemes, such as upper layer FEC and antenna diversity, for the short fading which is occurred periodically on the railway due to the power supplying structures so that it can provide high speed internet services. Mobile DVB-S2 technology which is now being standardized in the DVB is used for the forward-link transmission and DVB-RCS for the return-link.

The mobile communication technology which provides various data service and satifies the required quality in wireless environment can be classified as the forth generation mobile communication technology the forth generation communication technology must has diference with the 2nd and 3nd generation mobile communication technology. It must has the more advanced and more united shape than 3nd generation mobile communication. The forth generation mobile communication technology include following technology: Adaptive coding ar modulation, Smart antenna, Interference cancellation, Advanced handoff mechanism between networks. In this study, I represent the development and standardization of this technology.

The Nursing Care Integrated Service is an inpatient service provided in a ward equipped with all kinds of professional nursing services, nursing environment improvement, and patient safety management through team nursing staff placement through appropriate nursing staff placement. The subjects of the study were 92 patients who agreed to understand and participate in the research purpose as the inpatient ward of a general hospital in Gyeonggi Province, for the study method, frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA were applied using SPSS/WIN 21.0 program and the post test was Scheffe test. In addition, the correlation between nursing satisfaction and service evaluation was analyzed by Pearson's correlation. This paper is meaningful in that it reaffirms the importance of satisfaction and presents basic data for improving the quality of service of nursing care integrated service ward inpatients.

모든 데이터가 메인 메모리에 상주하는 메인 메모리 데이터베이스 시스템(Main Memory Database System: MMDB System)은 트랜잭션 수행중 자료 입출력을 위한 디스크 액세스를 유발하지 않으므로 전체 시스템 성능을 크게 향상시킬 수 있다. 80년대 중반에 처음으로 이 시스템이 소개된 후 현재까지 많은 연구가 이루어지고 있으며, 최근에는 램의 가격이 하락하고, 대용량화되면서 데이터의 실시간 조회, 갱신이 필요한 금융, 증권, 통신 등 여러 분야에서 MMDB 시스템의 상용화가 가시화되고 있다. MMDB 시스템의 상용화가 늘면서 더 많은 트랜잭션의 처리를 수행하고, 시스템 고장 등으로 인한 서비스 중지와 같은 결함이 일어나지 않는 시스템에 대한 요구 또한 커지고 있다. 이 요구를 만족시키는 가장 적절한 해결책으로 이중화 시스템(replication System)을 들 수 있다. 그러나, 기존의 디스크 기반 분산 데이터베이스 시스템을 위한 이중화 기법을 그대로 MMDB에 적용하게 되면 최적의 성능을 가질 수 없게 된다. 그러므로, MMDB 시스템의 특성을 잘 파악하여 이 시스템에 적합한 새로운 이중화 시스템의 개발이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 먼저 MMDB 시스템의 구조에 대해 고찰하며, 디스크 기반 분산 데이터베이스 시스템에 적용하고 있는 이중화 기법들의 장단점을 분석한다. 이 분석을 토대로 하여 MMDB시스템에 이중화 기법을 적용하기 위해 고려해야 할 점들을 정리하고, 제시한 고려 사항들을 모두 만족하는 MMDB 이중화 시스템을 설계하였다.

Modern society can be described as ubiquitous computing over the concept of information. Information technology(IT) has been developing in a way that relative technologies are integrated to each other. Especially in ubiquitous environment, medical information industry shows significant interest in the U-healthcare service area. This paper will first look into U-healthcare service environment and component of Integrated Medical Information Systems(IMIS). Secondly, it examines the basic technological factors for integrated medical information systems, which is datawarehouse, network, communication standards and technology related U-healthcare service. Finally it proposes how to implement and operate new integrated medical information system for ubiquitous health care service. The system will do point of care(POC) for customers by real time and diagnose them using their various and personal medical data. The information will be communicated back to the customers, which will improve their satisfaction.
