서울특별시인쇄정보산업협동조합 전산정보부회 초대 간사장으로 선출된 대광전산폼 김원희 사장을 인터뷰하러 간 때는 이번 겨울 들어 가장 춥다던 모든 사람들을 한껏 웅크리게 했던 날이었다. 그러나 패기 있고 당당한 모습으로 우리 일행을 맞이하는 모습에서 기세 좋던 동장군은 어느새 자취를 감추었고 히터를 끄고 진행했음에도 불구하고 인터뷰 시간 내내 열기가 넘쳤다.

정보를 나타내는 기호(symbol)들의 발생 빈도수(occurrence frequency)는 일반적으로 일정하지 않다. 빈번히 발생되는 기호일수록 짧은 길이로, 드물게 발생되는 기호는 길게 부호화 함으로써 우리는 데이터량을 많이 감축할 수 있다. 우리는 이러한 가변장 부호 기법(variable length coding)인 Huffman과 Shannon-Fano 부호 기법을 영상정보에 적용하여 약 77%의 데이터량을 감축할 수 있음을 보여준다.

This study compared the everyday-life information behaviors of urban and rural adolescents to suggest ways that school library information services can better meet the information needs of each of these groups. It focused its comparison not only on the everyday-life information-seeking behaviors but also on kinds of information grounds and barriers forming information grounds. Two qualitative methods, written activity logs and semi-structured in-depth interviews, were used to examine everyday-life information behaviors of adolescents. It is expected that the proposed strategies will be used in planning actual school library information services for urban or rural youths.

ISOC은 이용자들이 원하는 정보서비스용 자원을 효과적으로 지원하기 위한 클라우드 지향형 시스템이다. 그러나, 부서장의 승인 처리 지연으로 인하여 업무 처리 효율이 떨어지는 문제를 안고 있다. 이 문제를 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 선행처리 기능을 추가하였고, 부서장의 사후 승인을 인정할 수 있도록 시스템을 개선함으로써 업무 처리효율을 향상시켰다.

The research was undertaken to explore the role of the public library as a public sphere. For this, the characteristics and meanings of the library's role were examined by analyzing the public spheres operated by the public library. Data were collected through interviews with librarians at Seongbuk Public Libraries in Seoul. Data collected were coded using NVivo for thematic analysis. As a result of the study, the characteristics and meanings of the library's role in the public sphere were identified in the following five types; 1) A place for meeting, communication and interaction of citizens, 2) Supporting citizen learning and growth through information services and discussion on the subject, 3) Expanding civic participation in the community and strengthen civic power, 4) Strengthening citizens' experience of democracy, 5) Improving citizens' perception of libraries and expanding the library's influence on citizens. In particular, it was found that information services enhance citizen interaction and spread of public opinion on the agenda. The results of this study can be used as a basis for developing and supporting libraries as community public spheres.

웹검색 결과의 품질 향상을 위해서는 질의의 정확한 매칭 뿐만이 아니라, 서로 같은 대상을 지칭하는 한글 문자열과 영문 문자열(예: 네이버-naver)의 매칭과 같은 유연한 매칭 또한 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 문장대문장 학습을 통해 영문 문자열을 한글 문자열로 음차변환하는 방법론을 제시한다. 또한 음차변환 결과로 얻어진 한글 문자열을 동일 영문 문자열의 다양한 음차변환 결과와 매칭시킬 수 있는 발음 유사성 기반 부분 매칭 방법론을 제시하고, 위키피디아의 리다이렉트 키워드를 활용하여 이들의 성능을 정량적으로 평가하였다. 이를 통해 본 논문은 문장대문장 학습 기반의 음차 변환 결과가 복잡한 문맥을 고려할 수 있으며, Damerau-Levenshtein 거리의 계산에 자모 유사도를 활용하여 기존에 비해 효과적으로 한글 키워드들 간의 부분매칭이 가능함을 보였다.

In this study, the information breakdown structure of water purification plant has been made by classifying various the water purification methods and facilities. this can be utilized as a code system of computer for integrating information and analyzing quantitative of environmental impact and calculating cost of maintenance and energy consumption which was used during life cycle of water purification plant. Since the construction information contains many heterogeneous information, it is very important to have a code system for managing the integrated information. In addition, since water purification plant facilities are mainly composed of installation of facilities including many processes, a more detailed classification code is required. Therefore, in this study, the water purification breakdown structure which is not yet attempted in Korea was constructed by using facet classification system.
