본 논문은 과학철학을 논의하는데 있어서 AI를 활용하는 가능성을 다루고 있다. AI를 이용한 과학철학은 그것의 논의 절차가 분명하게 표현된다는 점 이외에도 그러한 절차를 테스트할 수 있다는 장점을 갖고 있다.

Researchers of humane studies including philosophy acquire knowledge from understanding of their texts. They spent a lot time and efforts to retrieve, read and understand many texts relevant to their research fields using a metadata-based text retrieval system. In this paper, we develop a philosophy ontology that enables researchers to retrieve knowledge in the content of texts of philosophy. Our philosophy ontology includes concepts and their hierarchical and associative relationships defined by philosophy researchers. We propose a methodology for constructing text-based ontology comprised of three phases and fourteen steps. This methodology may be used to construct another ontologies for learning. Also, we introduce a case study for applying our philosophy ontology to acquire and interchange knowledge of philosophy between a professor and students during philosophy classes.

The study acknowledges the importance of philosophical basis such as paradigms and epistemology in knowledge organization system development. The study aims at providing implications of Rorty's neo-pragmatism on knowledge organization system development. The study discussed Rorty's main concepts - Anti-Dualism, Languages, Ethnocentrism, and Solidarity, and further how these elements are utilized in system design. The study focuses on philosophical basis, knowledge organization system development approach, and methodology. It has values in that it provides implications for other philosophical discussions to be applicable to knowledge organization.

지금가지 인지과학적인 연구는 주로 인간의 지능이나 신경망, 그리고 언어를 주 연구 대상으로 다루어 왔다. 그런데 인공지능은 철학의 고유영역에 속하던 많은 문제를 다루게 되었고, 그 주제들을 다뤄온 철학적 방법들을 여러 측면에서 채용하고 있다. 따라서 인지과학과 철학이라는 두 분야가 접목되어야 할 필요성이 있을 것이다. 본 연구는 위에 바탕을 두어 1) 인간 사유에 대한 데카르트의 성찰(cogito ergo sum)을 소개하고, 2) 이를 MFC를 이용한 Multi-threading으로 구현하고 실험하여, 3) 인간의 철학적 사유체계와 사고 중 이성과 오성에 관한 부분은 인공적으로 구현 가능하다는 사실과 응용 가능성을 검토하도록 한다.

Act of journalism is act of social practice. Therefore, judgment on its rightness must be a prerequisite. That is why journalism requires philosophy. Barrenness of journalism philosophy promotes journalism to serve only as an instrument. No power and money should intrude the essential philosophy of journalism. Journalism must secure its own value. Remaining silent when its fundamental value is at risk is to negate one's own value of existence. It is self-denial. Social practice of journalism is assurance and realization of its essential value. Thus, it is historical. It is the juncture of journalism and history. Journalism without history leads to barrenness in philosophy. Without philosophy, journalism thus cannot uphold its historical mission. Journalism philosophy becomes a reality through the history. Concrete journalism philosophy shall come to light through historical reality. That is why conversation between journalism philosophy and journalism history is necessary. Thus, this research investigates how journalism philosophy formulates and reconstructs itself within journalism history. At the same time, this research thoroughly examines how journalism philosophy concretizes in journalism history, how historical subjects have practiced journalism and how all these have projected themselves in journalism history.

본 논문은 LISP의 기본적인 특성으로 간주되는 조건 표현과 회기에 대한 철학적 분석이다. 특히 여기서는 논리적 결합사들과 LISP의 원초적 용어들을 비교하고 있다. LISP은 현대 철학자들이 구성했던 이상언어의 사상을 계승한 것으로 여겨진다. 이러한 점에서 인공지능 연구와 철학 간의 학제적 연구가 절실히 필요하다는 논지를 몇가지 검토해 보았다.

The purpose of this paper is deriving philosophical foundations of information services by clarifying its concepts and attributes. Clarifying its concepts and attributes is based on the origin of the term information services, definitions and contents, historical and social perspectives. The theory of information services was reorganized by logically demonstrating that the term "information services" is most suitable name to represent its essence, attributes, and activities. The philosophy of information services has the key elements as instruction, information, guidance, and service in humanistic aspects which have been shown consistently in the origin of the term, definitions, historical and social perspectives. This paper tried to establish philosophical basis for information services that is focused on these elements.

Ontologies are the core components of the Semantic Web and knowledge-based systems. But it is difficult to find useful ontologies in actual domains. In order to build useful domain ontology, the conceptualization of the domain knowledge by knowledge experts of the specific domain and the specification of conceptualized knowledge with formal languages by ontology designers are required. In addition, structured and detailed guidelines and methods should be provided to be shared by the development team members. However, existing ontology building methodologies define and describe the skeletal structure of the whole building process at the top-layer. We build a useful academic ontology that is based on the conceptual knowledge structure in the domain of philosophy, and propose a detailed methodology to build a text ontology based on Topic Maps. Our methodology consists of two phases, ontology modelling and ontology implementation. We implement a philosophy knowledge portal to support retrieving and navigating of the philosophy knowledge.

This research analyzes the revised philosophy class in the 5th Edition of Korean Decimal Classification. It depends on the 1st Edition of KDC despite of the fact that contents and words were revised and changed, numbers for classification were moved, and indices were removed from the previous Edition of KDC. The object of the 5th Edition of KDC, metaphysics and eistemology are organized in the same sub-class(綱) through modifying, sex psychology, development psychology, physiognomy fortune judgment, applied psychology are expanded that its data are increasing in psychology, ethics, moral philosophy are modified.

미국은 통신서비스에 관한 연방정부 차원의 전권위임 조직인 연방통신위원회(FCC)라는 규제 구조와 자유 경쟁을 근본으로 한 통신서비스 법률제정 철학에 따라 1996년에 전기통신법을 공표하였다. 미국은 단말장비 개발에 관한 중요한 규제 경험과 국내외의 통신서비스 시장에 대한 경쟁 촉진, 자국의 시장보호에 대한 규제를 경험하게 되었다. 본 요약은 ITU가 보고한 미국의 규제 경험에 대하여 규제 구조인 FCC, 법률제정의 근본철학, 그리고 1996년의 전기통신법을 소개하고 이를 근거로 경험한 미국의 규제에 대하여 살펴보도록 한다.
