본 논문은 네트워크에서 불법적 사용자에 의한 정보의 보호를 위해, 강제적 액세스제어 정책(MAC)과 임의적 액세스 제어 정책(DAC)에 기초하여 네트워크에서의 액세스 제어 정책을 수립하고 이를 UNIX하에서 액세스 제어 리스트(ACL)와 보안 레이블에 기초하여 수행될 수 있도록 설계하고 구현하였다.

The major concern of scholarly communication system that consists of libraries, researchers, and publishers is scholarly journals. But there is a huge chasm between the groups that have their own respects and strategies, compensations, and rights about scholarly journals. This difference makes open access movement which has two strategies: Open Access Journal(OAJ) and Open Access Archives (OAA). This paper describes the current status and analyses serious limitations of OAJ and OAA, especially, including the present address in the field of library and information science.

본 고에서는 광대역 종합정보통신망(B-ISDN)에서 다양한 광대역통신 서비스를 통합 수용하는데 있어서 핵심이 되는 ATM 기본의 망 종단(NT) 기술과 광통신 기술을 융합한 광대역 액세스망의 서비스, 망구조 및 기능에 대하여 살펴보고, 광대역 액세스망의 역할을 분석한다. 이를 토대로 액세스망의 기능 요구사항과 설계 규격을 살펴보고 국내에서 개발되고 있는 집중형 액세스 시스템(CANS)과 분산형 액세스 시스템(DANS)의 개발 현황과 전망을 소개한다.

More and more residential and mobile users are requiring access to the Internet. This paper presents an architecture of the network solution for cost-effective Internet/intranet access between users and Network Service Providers(NSPs). It also presents a functional architecture of Internet access router in the integrated access node system. The proposed Internet access router provides the functionality that users select any of a number of NSPs and mutiple user PPP calls are multiplexed over each secure tunnel between the Internet access router and NSP.

본 연구는 오픈액세스 개념을 혁신확산이론의 주요 속성을 바탕으로 분석한 것이다. 데이터는 국내학술지 편집담당자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 수집하였다. 그 결과 국내에서 오픈액세스는 독자가 논문을 편리하고 신속하게 이용할 수 있도록 하는 상대적인 이점을 가지지만, 오픈액세스를 시행하기 위해 구체적인 정책을 세우는 등의 복잡함이 있으며 논문이 많이 인용되거나 학술지의 영향력지수가 상승할 것이라는 기대에 비해 실제로 오픈액세스의 긍정적인 효과를 체감하고 있지 못한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 국내에서 오픈액세스 정착을 위해 정책과 저작권 분야의 교육 실시가 필요하며 성공사례 공유를 통해 오픈액세스에 대한 긍정적인 인식이 확산될 수 있도록 노력해야할 것이다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the tendency of open access income models in gratis open access journals and fee-based online journals in Korea. This study found that there was no clear difference between two groups and fee-based online journals had several of the same characteristics of open access journals. That is, the societies published fee-based journals have requested APC to authors and additional page charges for the articles with research funding. Also, in case of fee-based online journals, the journals received subsidies from external funding agencies were more than free OA journals. These findings show that fee-based online journals in Korea have a lot of capability to transition to open access journals.

Open access journal has been one of the major academic information sources for researcherscharacterizing itself as free resource. Recently, as competition among academic information service provides becomes intense, open access journal also needs to enhance its service and expand information service function. This study aims to propose service features for next generation service of open access journals by analyzing service features of leading journal database services. As a result, four service features are suggested such as journal article components and multimedia features, expanded searching features, social service features and mobile information service.

전자우편 (E-Mail) 이나 메세지 처리 시스템 (MHS: Message handling System)과 같은 축적 후 전송(Store-and-Forward) 방식의 네트워크 시스템에서 다중 등급의 기밀성을 갖는 메세지를 처리하고자 할 때 중요한 메세지의 내용이 누출되거나 또는 허가되지 않은 자가 메세지를 액세스할 수 있는 안전성 문제의 해결이 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 다중 등급 메세지의 보호를 위하여 요구되는 네트워크 보안 정책을 임의적 액세스 제어, 보안 레이블, 레이블 무결성, 강제적 엑세스제어, 그리고 최소 권한 정책 측면에서 제시하였다. 정의한 보안 정책을 만족하는 보안 특성 함수와 보안 오퍼레이션을 기반으로 하여 안전한 MHS을 위한 네트워크 액세스 제어 메카니즘과 그 구조를 설계하였다. 제안한 액세스 제어 메카니즘은 네트워크상에서 중요한 메세지의 불법적인 액세스 또는 불안전한 (Insecure) 정보 흐름의 보호문제를 해결한다.

액세스망 기술 분야는 초고속 정보통신 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 유·무선 전달 매체 처리기술, 액세스망 구성 방식 기술, 기존 인프라를 이용하는 고도의 DSL기술 등이 복합되어 사업자의 망 구축 여건에 따라 다양한 형태로 실현되고 있다. MAIN1)은 기존 동선상에서 전화 및 데이터 서비스는 물론 광대역서비스 제공을 위해 VDSL기술을 채용하며, 망 구성방식으로는 ATM/SDH 또는 ATM/PON 기반으로 FTTx 방식의 통합 액세스망 플랫폼이다. 그러나 액세스망은 다수 망사업자와 서비스사업자 환경과 공중망과 사설망이 혼재하며, 새로운 요소기술이 복합되는 망 영역이므로 소요장치의 OAM 뿐만 아니라 망관리에 대한 체계적인 OA&M이 요구되고 있다. 액세스망의 OA&M은 비용 효과적인 액세스망 실현과 실제 망 운용비용과는 상호 상반된 관점을 가진다. 본 논문은 다양한 형태의 액세스망에 대해 통합 관점의 망 관리와 시스템 관리를 위한 체계적인 OA&M 정립을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 통합 엑세스망 플랫폼에 대한 망관리 설계 접근 방법 및 고려사항에 대해 논하고, MAIN의 관리 구조 모델을 제시한다. 또한 MAIN 하드웨어 구조에서 NEL 시스템의 운용관리 및 소요기술에대한 OAM 기능과 망관리 기능 구현을 통하여 MAIN 엑세스망의 OA&M 실현 구조를 조명 함으로서 관련 액세스망 OA&M 구현 시 기본 참조 모델로 제안한다.

액세스그리드 프레임워크(AccessGrid Framework)는 지리적인 제한에 관계없이 가상적인 협업 환경을 제공하는 도구이다. 액세스그리드 프레임워크는 기존의 시스템이 갖추지 못한 사용자의 이동성 지원을 추가하고, 유비쿼터스 환경에 적절한 자동화 기능을 제공함으로써 액세스그리드 환경을 확장한다. 이들은 웹 서비스 기반의 기존 구현물인 액세스그리드 툴킷(AccessGrid Toolkit)을 적극적으로 활용하여 개발되었으며, 향후에 불안정한 종속성을 제거하여 개수될 예정이다.
